Chapter 109: Public Interview Disaster
Scott’s jaw tensed as Judy Cho edged closer.
The mic was now inches from his face.
Her bright grin beamed with relentless enthusiasm, and her eyes sparkled like a cat who’d cornered a particularly juicy mouse.
“So, Scott…”
She gave him a good look from top to bottom.
Naturally, he wasn’t hard to look at.
“What do you think about William Roosevelt? You know, the current hottest man in the world. Do you think you have a chance at dethroning him?”
For a moment, Scott just stared at her in silence as his sharp blue eyes thinned slightly.
Judy’s smile only grew wider as she waited.
Scott finally reached out and his hand gently gripped the mic as he pushed it down, lowering it from his face.
“Uh…”
He was calm, but partly irritated.
“I don’t really care about that.”
Judy’s eyes widened slightly, as if this was the juiciest scoop of the century.
She turned to the camera with a gasp.
“You heard it here first, folks! Scott McQueen doesn’t even care about competing with someone as lowly as William Roosevelt! That’s quite a statement to make, especially considering he’s not even a model yet!”
Scott’s eyes widened in alarm.
“Wait, what?”
He stepped forward to grab Judy’s shoulder.
“What the heck? That’s not what I said.”
Judy turned to him with a look of genuine confusion.
Her brows scrunched up as she tilted her head.
“Oh, really? That’s not what you meant?”
Scott sighed heavily, running a hand through his hair.
It was painfully clear she wasn’t trying to twist his words maliciously—she was just that clueless.
“Let me make this clear…” Scott said firmly.
Judy nodded eagerly, her expression utterly innocent.
“Mhm?”
Scott crossed his arms, staring down at her.
“I’m not saying I don’t see William—or whatever his name is—as competition. I’m just saying I don’t put much interest in these modeling or popularity contests. They’re not exactly a priority for me.”

Judy blinked a few times before smiling brightly.
“Ohhh, I completely understand!”
She adjusted her glasses before spinning back toward the camera.
“Well, it seems Mr. McQueen has decided to clarify his statement! According to him, William Roosevelt might be important to some, but he’s nothing to Scott, so he doesn’t care to waste his time on someone who doesn’t matter! Isn’t that amazing, folks?”
Scott slapped a hand over his face, then let out a long, exhausted groan.
“God help me…”
Before he could address the misunderstanding, a piercing scream cut through the air.
“SCOTT!!”
He looked up just in time to see three women pushing through the sea of journalists, their hands clutching brightly colored bouquets. They weren’t even trying to hide their desperation as they practically bulldozed their way to the front.
The woman in the center gasped dramatically as she came face-to-face with him.
“Oh. My. GOD! I can’t believe we’re meeting you!”
Her voice was shrill with excitement.
“We saw you at the SMPE last week, and you were sooooo handsome! Are your parents European?!”
Scott blinked, momentarily caught off guard.
“Uh… my mom’s European, so yeah, I guess.”
The woman on the left clasped her hands together as her eyes sparkled with admiration.
“Can you tell us your skincare routine? You look so fresh!”
Scott raised an eyebrow.
“I use a men’s 13-in-1 shampoo… does that count?”
The three women froze, staring at each other in disbelief before erupting into squeals.
“THAT’S IT?!”
“AND HE’S THIS HANDSOME?!”
“Kyaaaaa!!”
“HE’S OLD-SCHOOL HANDSOME, GADAMMIT!!”
The woman on the right leaned forward.
Her cheeks were flushed.
“Can you say your name the way you did on stream with that blonde, tights-wearing, superhero guy? I forgot his name, but you were so~ooo cool!”
Scott frowned slightly before shrugging.
“You mean… my name is Scott?”
The moment the words left his mouth, the entire crowd of women exploded into deafening screams.
“HE’S SO FRIGGIN’ HOT!”
“ABSOLUTELY!”
“IF HE TOLD ME TO SIT, I’D NAIL MY FRIGGIN’ BUTT TO THE DAMN CHAIR!”
“FUCK YES HE’S GORGEOUS!”
The woman in the center suddenly grabbed his hand as her eyes locked onto his with an intensity that made Scott slightly uncomfortable.
“Mr. McQueen…”
She whispered with deep desire.
“Will you go out with me? I don’t have a boyfriend.”
Scott studied her for a moment, right after his lips curling into a sly smirk. He gently pulled his hand back and tapped the tip of her nose.
“Psssh──liar.”
The woman gasped as her face turned red-hot, while her friends burst into giggles.
“Forget her!”
One of them said as she pulled out her phone.
“Can we take a selfie?!”
Scott sighed but nodded. “Sure.”
He positioned himself between the three women as one of them held out her phone. Just as he raised his hand to flash a peace sign, all three of them leaned in and kissed his cheeks, leaving bright lipstick marks on his face.
“Wha—”
Scott’s words were drowned out by another wave of high-pitched screams from the crowd.
Back in the car, Gwen was banging on the window furiously, her face contorted in rage.
“YOU THREE HARLOTS—”
Still munching on her chips, Dark Elf reached out and casually chopped Gwen on the top of her head.
Gwen yelped, grabbing her head in pain as Dark Elf sighed.
“Calm down…” she said dryly. “It’s not that serious.”
Gwen glared at her as tears of frustration welled up in her psycho eyes.
“Not that serious?! Did you NOT see what they just did to m-, m-, my man?!”
Dark Elf shrugged.
“Maybe you should’ve kissed him first.”
“Shiet, you’re right!”
Gwen snapped her fingers in frustration.
・・・
Judy Cho wasn’t finished.
As the three women who had just ambushed Scott for a selfie reluctantly shuffled away, she darted back toward him with her mic once again in his face.
“So, Scott…”
She flashed that razor-sharp smile of hers.
“… speaking of girlfriends, do you have one?”
Scott blinked, his brow lifting. The corners of his lips pulled downward in subtle annoyance.
“Isn’t that kind of an unnecessary question? It’s not like you’re gonna use that info for anything productive, right? I mean… your kind never does.”
“Hmph! Racist much?” Judy Cho frowned.
Scott’s eyebrows lifted. “How is that ra──!”
“Nevermind, the damage has been done…”
Judy tilted her head as she maintained that sweet-loving, innocent look of hers.
“But all this? Well it’s purely for your fans. You wouldn’t want to keep such basic information from them, would you? I mean, just a simple yes or no is fine!”
Scott exhaled heavily as his gaze shifted to the crowd of eager fans hanging on to every word. His lips pressed into a thin line before he finally relented.
“… Yeah. I have a girlfriend.”
The moment those words escaped his mouth, a collective groan of despair rippled through the crowd like a wave.
“What?!”
“This is so unfair!”
One girl cried as she clutched her heart like Scott had just personally broken it.
“Why can’t I ever get a lucky encounter with a gorgeous man like him?”
“Oh, please! As if your ugly ass could ever hold down someone like Scott McQueen. Be real—he’s way out of your league.”
“Excuse me?!”
The first girl snapped with a furious look.
“Just because you’re ugly doesn’t mean the rest of us are! I could totally attract a man like Scott!”
“Ha!”
A third girl interjected, crossing her arms.
“As if he’d look at your flatland ass. Dream on.”
Scott pinched the bridge of his nose.
“Why is this my life…”
But Judy wasn’t done yet.
She leaned in closer with her usual smug grin.
“Looks like your fans are devastated at the idea of you having a girlfriend. So… is there a little more you can share? Is she a brunette? Blonde? Maybe foreign?”
Scott’s eyes narrowed as he glared at her.
“Are you seriously doing this right now? You already agreed not to pry into her.”
Judy’s eyes twinkled mischievously.
“Oh, did I? My bad.”
Then she paused and glanced toward his sleek black GT-R parked nearby.
Her eyes zeroed in on the passenger seat.
“Ohhh… is that her?”
Scott followed her line of sight and instantly spotted Gwen sitting in the car. Her hands were clasped tightly together as her wide, desperate eyes stared back at him.
“Not exactly what you’re thinking…”
Scott began, fumbling for words.
“It’s, uh…”
His hesitation seemed to be all the confirmation Gwen needed. Her expression crumpled, and she crossed her arms as she looked away dejectedly.
『Of course, he’d say I’m just some random person. This is probably his best chance to get back at me—rejecting me in front of an even bigger crowd than the one I embarrassed him in during middle school. Honestly, I can’t even blame him. I had it coming. Sigh~』
Her eyes watered up a bit, but she didn’t cry.
Instead, she just tightened her crossed arms more as if trying to tie up the pain in her heart.
Judy pounced.
“Come on, Mr. McQueen…”
There was a heated curiosity in her eyes.
“Just give us a clear answer, or else we’ll just have to… hmm, assume?”
Scott’s jaw clenched as he stared at Judy with irritation.
But as he glanced back at Gwen, something shifted.
Her sadness struck a nerve, and before he could stop himself, he sighed heavily and shut his eyes.
“… Fine.”
He exhaled, then spoke with a strained voice.
“Yes. She’s my… second girlfriend. Gwen Mercer.”
The crowd went utterly silent.
Not even Judy seemed to know how to process this absolute bombshell.
“Wait, wait, wait…”
She said with a nervous laugh.
“Do you mean, like, she’s the second girl you’ve ever dated, or…”
Her voice trailed off, and her facial expression froze.
“… you’re dating two women at the same time?”
Scott’s teeth ground together.
He hesitated, then glanced at Gwen one last time.
Her eyes were glued to him now, glimmering with a faint, fragile hope.
That hope was what broke him.
“…Yeah. I’m dating two women. Simultaneously.”
The mic slipped from Judy’s fingers and hit the ground with a dull thud.
The crowd erupted.
“WHAT?!”
“Holy shit.”
“IS IT THAT BIG──?!”
“Man’s running a double feature?!”
“William Roosevelt who?!”
“This dude’s game is unmatched. Two girlfriends? That’s… honestly, that’s dastardly.”
“Dastardly?” another replied. “Bro, that’s legendary.”
“Nah, this generation’s cooked…”
Scott groaned as he dragged a hand down his face.
“I knew this would happen…”
But then, he looked back at the GT-R.
Gwen was smiling now.
Not her usual smirk or up-to-no-good grin, but something soft and genuine. Her eyes shone with such pure, unrestrained joy that it caught him completely off guard.
Despite himself, Scott smiled back.
Maybe this wasn’t such a disaster after all.
『Nah, it definitely was…』
Correct.
The crowd soon became absolute chaos.
Screams, yells, and even the occasional chant of “McQueen! McQueen! McQueen!” echoed through the parking lot. Fans were clawing at the air like feral animals, while journalists held their mics high, yelling over one another as if sheer volume would earn them answers.
Unshaken by all this madness, Judy adjusted her glasses and smirked devilishly at Scott.
“You’re not going anywhere, McQueen.”
She bent down to pick up her mic as her razor-sharp instincts refused to let this story slip away.
“Not until you give me an exclusive on how you’ve managed to convince two women to share you.”
Scott glanced at the rapidly encroaching horde of journalists, agents, and screaming fangirls as his jaw tightened.
“Of course. This is exactly what I needed today…”
But before Judy could finish her triumphant monologue, the car door of Scott’s GT-R slammed open. A burst of thick mist erupted from Gwen’s outstretched palm and shrouded the area in a swirling, dense fog.
“Wh-, What the hell?!”
Judy stumbled backward, coughing as her mic slipped from her grasp again.
“Who’s doing this?!”
From the mist, a slender figure emerged.
Dark Elf stepped out with her usual bored expression as she held a bag of chips and munched lazily. She brushed past the throng of blinded journalists and rabid fangirls with complete nonchalance.
“Really… all this over one guy?”
Dark Elf sighed, tossing another chip into her mouth.
A particularly ambitious journalist lunged toward her, but Dark Elf sighed louder, raised a delicate hand, and chopped him on the side of the neck.
He crumpled to the ground, snoring instantly.
“I don’t have time for this.”
She continued weaving through the chaos, dispatching anyone who got in her way with the same neck-chopping efficiency. Every person she struck dropped like a marionette with its strings cut.
Meanwhile, Gwen materialized in the mist beside Scott in a puff of swirling vapor.
Her hand shot out to grab his wrist firmly.
“Come on! Let’s get you out of here!”
She sounded somewhat panicked.
Scott hesitated. “Wait, what about──!”
“We can worry about that later!”
Before Scott could protest further, Judy’s blind hand flailed through the mist and managed to latch onto his other wrist.
Her grip was iron-clad.
“Oh no, you don’t!”
Judy shouted.
“You’re not escaping me that easily!”
Scott groaned, shaking his head in sheer disbelief.
“You’ve got to be kidding me…”
With a sigh, he slipped his hand out of Gwen’s grasp and pivoted toward Judy.
“Alright, fine. You asked for this.”
Before Judy could react, Scott’s hand smacked against her backside with an audible PAH!
『Holy… that felt…』
Like slapping the surface of a water balloon.
『Good…?』
Her ass cheeks vibrated like jelly from the slap, and she felt it perk up even more, as though asking to be slapped a second time—this time harder.
“Eyaahnnn~ ❤️!” Judy squeaked
Her body stiffened as her knees wobbled.
Unfazed, Scott made sure to deliver a firm three squeezes for good measure.
Judy’s face flushed a deep red and her breath hitched as she collapsed to the ground in a heap.
“A-, Ahhhhnn…❤️ such… a sneaky tactic…”
She muttered incoherently──as though those three squeezes of his manly hands had sucked every intellectual thought that was once in her mind.
All she could think of feel now, was how good his hand felt.
『How shameless of me…』
Judy thought.
Scott turned back to Gwen with a deadpan expression.
“Let’s go.”
Dark Elf appeared at his side just in time, motioning with her head toward the mist-covered path.
“This way.”
Together, they maneuvered through the fog and eventually slipped into the safety of Woodhull Private Hospital. Behind them, the mist dissipated, leaving the crowd outside in an uproar of confused shouts and desperate pleas.
“Where’d he go?!”
“I NEED TO KNOW HIS SKINCARE ROUTINE!”
“DID HE LEAVE IN THAT CAR?!”
“TEACH ME YOUR WAYS KING!”
Inside the hospital, Scott, Gwen, and Dark Elf found temporary refuge in a private suite on one of the highest floors.
Scott stood by the window, watching the crowd below.
“They’re still looking for me…” he muttered.
Now sitting cross-legged on the plush couch, Dark Elf popped another chip into her mouth. She offered one to Scott without even looking at him.
“Chip?”
Scott frowned, glancing at her outstretched hand.
“Uh… no thanks.”
Dark Elf shrugged and ate it herself, completely unbothered.
Meanwhile, Gwen leaned against her knees to catch her fragile breath. After a moment, she stood upright and fixed Scott with a sly smile.
“Sooo… no ‘thank you’ for me?”
She teased as she stepped closer.
Scott raised an eyebrow.
“I just thanked you like eight seconds ago.”
Gwen shook her head as her smile turned hungrier.
“Not that kind of thank you.”
Before he could respond, she closed the distance, pressing herself against him. Her soft breasts squished against his chest as she tilted her head up as her pink lips curled into a seductive grin.
“Come on… you know what I want. Now that I’m officially your girlfriend, don’t I get the same special treatment you’re giving Emma?”
Her hand cupped his cheek while the other trailed down his torso, stopping at his inner thigh.
“I wonder how it feels down there. Hnn~”
Her hand crawled towards his crotch.
She wanted to feel if there was a bulge in his pants.
Scott’s eyes widened. “Gwen…”
Just then, the door to the suite swung open.
“Lord Nightwatch?”
Scott looked up to see Rhinoman standing in the doorway, Brigid perched happily on his shoulders.
She was drumming lightly on his head.
“Eh?”
Rhinoman blinked, tilting his head.
“What’s going on here?”
“I… I’d like to ask the same thing…”
Said a shocked Nadia who stood at the far back.
