Chapter 119: New Route
Room G-7 Bathroom
Emma reclined in the oversized bathtub.
She was submerged in a luxurious bubble bath that smelled faintly of lavender and vanilla. The water was hot and soothing, the kind of warmth that melted away aches she hadn’t realized she had.
Her body was cocooned in thick, white suds, and in her right hand, she held a tall glass of flavored sparkling water as its condensation beaded along the rim.
She sighed, her head resting against the cushioned edge of the tub as she lazily swirled the water with her free hand.
The immaculate bathroom felt like heaven compared to the suffocating room she’d been trapped in. It was spacious, the tiles gleamed under the soft overhead lights, and everything smelled fresh, like citrus and mountain air.
Emma tilted the glass to her lips.
… Mmmm~
She took a long sip of the fizzy drink.
“I still can’t believe there’s flavored water in here…”
She muttered to herself as she stared at the glass like it was mocking her.
“Flavored water, but not a single crumb of food. What kind of twisted joke is that?”
Her stomach growled, loud enough to echo faintly in the bathroom.
She groaned, then leaned back further into the bubbles.
“When I get out of here, I’m eating a whole buffet before I even think about using my superspeed again. No way I’m running on an empty tank.”
She paused to stare at the sparkling water in her grasp.
Her brows furrowed slightly, and her lips pressed thin.
The indulgent calm she’d felt moments ago began to wane as her thoughts drifted to less pleasant places.
『This whole thing would probably just end if I tried to talk to that Gwen girl. Or at least if I didn’t feel like fuckin’ killing her every 0.2 seconds…』
Her frown deepened, and she tilted her head back to stare at the ceiling. The soft glow of the lights reflected faintly in her glass, but she wasn’t really looking at it anymore. Her chest tightened as an uncomfortable thought wormed its way to the surface.
『But… maybe it’s not just that. Maybe I’m scared. Scared I’m not… suitable. Not someone Scott could… could even share with someone else. Because apparently, that’s gonna be a thing.』
She let out a frustrated sigh and her cheeks puffed slightly as she sank lower into the water.
The bubbles shifted around her like a soft blanket.
Her expression turned petulant, almost childish, as she pouted at her own reflection in the water’s rippling surface.
“I can’t believe I’m even considering it!”
She grumbled.
『Sharing my man? What the hell was I even thinking when I told Maya that? Yeahhhh… I don’t wanna do that. Not really. But… ugh…』
She groaned and dragged a hand down her face.
『It doesn’t sound as bad as it did at first. Maybe because I’ve already convinced myself? Ugh, screw this.』
She gently placed the glass of water on a small platform beside the tub.

With a long exhale, she slid deeper into the water, letting it cover her shoulders and most of her face, leaving only her head above the surface. The warmth did little to chase away the gnawing thoughts swirling in her mind.
『I wanna believe in Scott…』
Her hands floated listlessly in the water.
『I wanna believe he’s not the kind of guy to love me less just because he has options. That he wouldn’t hurt me like that. But…』
Her lips trembled slightly, and she blinked rapidly to hold back the sting of tears.
『But even then… would it be his fault? Or mine? It’s so friggin’ impossible to love two people equally. Even parents can’t do that. So how could he? I have a lot of faith in him… but… well, yunno… not that much…』
Her voice cracked as she whispered to herself.
“What if he starts seeing me as less important? Less special? Just… one more face in the crowd…”
The thought hit her like a punch to the gut, and her face twisted in anguish.
“I want the full Scott McQueen experience… I want all of his love, not just a piece of it…”
There was such vulnerability and desperation in her voice.
She curled up in the tub and pressed her knees to her floating breasts and wrapped her arms around them like a shield. The bubbles shifted around her as she buried her face against her knees, then groaned softly.
Just then, the sound of the bathroom curtains being dragged open startled her.
… SKRRRRRR!
Emma’s head shot up and her eyes widened in panic as she scrambled to the far end of the tub, nearly slipping in the process.
“WHAT THE FUCK?!”
She shouted, clutching the edge of the tub as her heart pounded in her chest.
Standing at the entrance, clutching a towel that barely clung to her shapely body, was Gwen. The towel was so loose it did almost nothing to cover her, revealing smooth, pale skin and curves that would’ve made anyone do a double take.
“Well, uhm…”
Gwen’s expression was sheepish, her cheeks tinged pink as she avoided Emma’s furious gaze.
“Uh… sorry…”
Gwen mumbled, shifting awkwardly.
“I can’t wait any longer. I really need to shower.”
Emma’s face twisted into a scowl, and she folded her arms across her breasts, bubbles dripping from her skin.
“Well, I’m using the bathtub, so you’re just gonna have to wait. An hour. Maybe more. Deal with it.”
She leaned back smugly, expecting Gwen to snap back with one of her usual insults.
Instead, Gwen surprised her.
“Uh… alright…”
Gwen said quietly, nodding without argument.
“I can wait an hour.”
With that, she turned on her heel and walked back into the room, leaving Emma staring after her in stunned silence.
“What the…?”
Emma muttered, her expression baffled.
For a moment, she wondered if the lack of food had started making her hallucinate.
“The fuck just happened?”

Scott’s Room, Overwatch Headquarters
Scott leaned lazily against the wall with a tall glass of cold water in hand.
The glass was nearly empty as condensation pooled at the base and dripping down his fingers. He took a slow sip as his tired eyes fixed on the security feed displayed on the blue holographic screen in front of him.
“Huh?”
He muttered, tilting his head slightly as the events in the bathroom played out on-screen.
“That’s… weird.”
The System chimed in as usual.
「The individual designated ‘Gwen’ has not consumed any sustenance for an estimated 72 hours. Mental fortitude and emotional stability are currently operating at suboptimal levels.」
Scott stroked his chin thoughtfully and his eyes narrowed as the System continued.
「Conversely, the individual designated ‘Emma’ possesses advanced metabolic control, allowing her to manage hunger and fatigue more effectively. This disparity in physical and mental resilience is likely responsible for the lack of confrontation.」
“Hmmm…”
Scott murmured as he gently tapped a finger against the rim of his glass.
“That actually makes sense. Guess the hangry factor isn’t working in Gwen’s favor this time. Maybe this is the opportunity they need to finally… I dunno, make up? Or at least not actively try to kill each other.”
He exhaled heavily, running a hand through his disheveled hair as he glanced at the closed door to Room G-7’s hidden bathroom.
His shoulders sagged as he sighed dramatically.
“Not that they’re making it easy, either…”
He set the glass down on a nearby counter.
“I mean, come on. Six hours I could deal with. But now it’s been three friggin’ days. I have a life, y’know…”
His voice trailed off as he rubbed at his tired eyes and the corners of his mouth twitched in a faint frown.
“Haven’t slept in days either…”
He grumbled, reaching for the glass and taking another sip of the now lukewarm water.
“God, I miss some grass.”

Room G-7 Bathroom
Emma sat in the tub, staring at the bathroom entrance with a frown. The soothing warmth of the water wasn’t doing much to ease the uncomfortable twist in her chest.
“Maybe I shouldn’t have been that rude to her…”
She muttered, her voice barely audible over the faint splash of water.
She let out a soft sigh as her elegant brows squeezed.
“I mean… she didn’t look happy. At all.”
With a resigned groan, she rose from the tub, water streaming down her sexy, naked body as she reached for a towel. She dried off quickly, wrapping the towel snugly around her before padding barefoot to the bathroom door.
The towel was having an easier time covering up her middle region than holding her breasts and backside in place. It almost looked like if she breathed wrong and bent in an awkward position, the towel would rip to shreds.
This was something very obvious to Emma, and it made her stare down at her massive, meaty cleavage and sigh as she tugged at the edge of the towel.
“Honestly… it’s not my friggin’ size…”
Peeking her head out, she hesitated for a moment before speaking.
“Uhh… Gwen?”
Gwen, who was seated on a small chair in the corner of the room, glanced up.
She looked weary, her face pale and drawn.
“Yeah?” she replied.
Her voice was so soft… polite even.
Emma hesitated again, biting her lip before motioning back toward the bathroom.
“Uh… you can come join me. In the bathroom, I mean…”
Emma said awkwardly.
“It’s getting kinda… lonely in there anyway.”
Gwen raised an eyebrow, clearly surprised.
“Are you sure? I mean… I usually prefer to be alone, like you were. So if you want the bathroom for another hour, there’s, uh… no problem.”
Emma blinked as her eyebrows shot up.
“Since when are you so… calm about everything?”
She asked, folding her slender arms over her tightly packed breasts.
“Not that I’m complaining, but considering we’ve been at each other’s throats for, like, three days straight, I didn’t think we’d ever have a conversation this, uh… civilized.”
Gwen chuckled lightly, then adjusted the towel around her body as she leaned back in her chair.
“I’m tired…”
She admitted with a faint smile.
“Way too tired to argue. Honestly, I’d rather have a full stomach before I even think about debating with anyone.”
Emma snorted as a small smile tugged at her lips.
“Fair enough…”
There was a pause, and then Emma’s expression shifted slightly. Her brows knitted together as realization dawned on her.
“Actually… now that I think about it…”
She spoke very slowly.
“We haven’t really been arguing that much these past three days. Sure, there were a few snippy moments, but compared to the first six hours? Kinda feels like… progress?”
Gwen stood from her chair and a small, wry smile appeared on her pretty lips.
“Guess you’re not as intolerable as I thought…”
“Hey!”
Emma said, scrunching her face in mock indignation.
Gwen smirked.
“Considering I wanted to rip your throat out the first day, I’d say that’s a compliment.”
Emma rolled her eyes but couldn’t help the laugh that escaped her.
“Okay, okay, fair point.”
They walked back into the bathroom together as the tension between them noticeably lightened.
As Emma stepped aside to let Gwen approach the shower, she glanced at Gwen’s figure and couldn’t resist a cheeky comment.
“By the way… nice ass.”
Gwen froze mid-step, turning to stare at Emma with wide eyes.
“Eh?”
Emma grinned, winking playfully.
“What? Just calling it like I see it.”
Gwen’s face turned bright red, and she quickly turned away, muttering something under her breath as she stepped into the shower.
For the first time in days, the sound of genuine laughter echoed through Room G-7.
And Scott hoped it would stay that way.
And perhaps… it would.
「Ding! Calculations have been made. The possibility that the host will unlock the Threesome Route is 90.85% certain, how would the host like to proceed?」
Scott’s eyebrows climbed his forehead.
“Wait, what…?”
The young man took a step back.
His eyes went to the two women who were now naked in the bathroom.
『I get to sleep with both… Emma and… Gwen?』
It almost seemed like a ridiculous idea.
[Would the host like to stream this special event?]
Immediately, Scott swiped his hand across the holographic screen like he wanted to slap it.
“FUCK NO──!!”
