Chapter 208: Cassandra’s Affection Bar [FIXED!]
Kyle had an idea that would serve to not only improve the fluidity in his business but elevate it to the next level.
He was already making waves outside the industry with these establishments but there was a chance that these things could backfire.
People always had something to say. With modern-day women, one could say he was exploiting women despite this ironically being Kyle supporting their hustle by giving them a bigger stage to perform on.
Nate was already on the internet but Kyle could tell he had someone in mind already.
However, why didn’t he give her this opportunity before this announcement?
Nate was a young good-looking guy, Kyle knew he didn’t have to work much to get women but if he was jerking it to an Onlyfans girl, it would show that he wasn’t getting as much coochie as Kyle thought.
Kyle wasn’t entirely surprised by this because this was how things tend to work worldwide.
It is much easier to jerk it than to spend time wooing a woman for that same goal.
Kyle couldn’t judge and once again, this was a mere assumption on his end.
“Kyle, I think I have someone for you,” Nate called his attention and it was just as Kyle suspected.
Kyle walked over to him to see what the fuss was about and Nate pulled out someone.
Kyle noticed she had a small following so even if they did hire her, she wouldn’t generate many customers from those followings but there was a chance that if they did hire her with her followings climbing up.
Then other models would take note of this and reach out, it was ideal for marketing just like they did with Calista.
Kyle noticed that the majority of her content was weird cosplays as well as very strange fetishes.
Kyle shot Nate a side-eye because he knew what this meant.
Nate couldn’t look Kyle in the eyes either because he knew what this looked like but there was no denying that this just ousted him.
“Hm, this could work,” Kyle said and noticed Nate sounded almost existing.
“Really!?” Nate asked but noticed that his voice was higher than necessary.
He had to clear his throat before trying again.
“I thought so too,” Nate said with a wide grin but Kyle just shook his head, hiding his smile.
“Get it done,” Kyle informed Nate but couldn’t help to wonder if Nate knew this woman in real life.
But if that was the case then it made things easier because it meant he would be able to convince her to take up their offer.
Kyle knew he could call it a day and return to the apartment but the walls were thin.
He didn’t want to hear whatever Jones would be doing with his wife so he decided to stay out for a while longer.
Kyle recalled the woman claiming to be his sister, he was not only appalled by Calista’s betrayal but the entire situation he found himself in.
But there was one person Kyle was curious about and that was Cassandra.
The affection bar that appeared was something else entirely and Kyle wondered why it appeared days after their interaction.
Did something happen after he left?
Kyle decided to plan a meeting with Cassandra to see what she had going on.
Kyle got a response right away, she wasn’t home but wasn’t closed off to Kyle coming to meet her where she was.

Kyle got the location and realized that it was somewhere not far from where he was.
However, it was clear that wherever she was, it had to do with the court case that awaited her.
Kyle knew he had little choice in this situation because if she didn’t want him there.
She wouldn’t have sent the address to him, the only reason he wanted to was to see if this would affect the affection bar that appeared.
He needed to know what Cassandra responded to.
Kyle got into his car but got a call from Priscilla soon after.
Kyle picked up the phone but it wasn’t Priscilla talking to him, it was Oliver.
“Oliver? Can I help you with something?” Kyle asked, not asking the all-important question as to why he had her phone in his possession.
The conversation didn’t last long but it was also suspicious that Oliver was speaking to him like they were buddies.
He didn’t know if he needed to bring this to Priscilla’s attention or leave it be.
Kyle knew if he reported this and if Priscilla wasn’t aware of their interaction then it could potentially cause a divide.
Kyle chose to keep his mouth shut for now because he owed her no loyalty.
She was working on a case he brought her simply because of the need to repay his huge favour to them.
Kyle pulled up to the location given to him by Cassandra, Kyle’s life had changed drastically since getting this system that allowed him to bend everything he once knew was true.
Kyle knew that there was so much he could get from this system.
The system, every skill it gave him was a means to not only expand his wealth but to maintain it.
Kyle wondered if he would lose these skills should the system ever decide to disappear.
Imagine him rising to the top in Hollywood only for him to lose the very thing that gave him that status.
Kyle would plummet to the bottom of the barrel but he would still have the wealth that came with it; however, he would lose his legacy.
Kyle noticed that she wasn’t alone from a distance but he already expected this from the get-go.
He wondered if he should call her but upon closer observation, the person with him was the lawyer that he had hired for her.
Kyle wondered why she would give him this address if they were on the verge of an important meeting.
Either way, he was already here so there was no point for him to turn back.
Kyle walked towards the open-door coffee place, they were seated outdoors nonetheless.
He noticed Cassandra spotted him first but didn’t get up from her seat.
The papers right in front of her were proof that this was something that they were working on together.
Kyle waved at her and she reciprocated, only then did the lawyer spot Kyle.
“Well, hello there you two,” Kyle said and the man that he had hired was an older man who had won questionable cases despite the evidence suggesting otherwise.
Kyle didn’t care about his track record or how dirty the cases he took were because the only thing he wanted to do at that moment was to push things to his advantage.
Some things needed a forceful hand and this was it.
The man got up and shook Kyle’s hand, not only showing respect but also putting Kyle in a place of authority.
Something that Cassandra noticed and brought a smile to her face, Kyle noticed that he was the one with the power here.
“How is everything going?” Kyle asked and the man quickly sat back down with Kyle taking a seat beside Cassandra.
Flashing her a smile as their eyes met with Cassandra returning this gesture.
“Are you alright?” Kyle questioned to which she nodded in response.
“I am but what about you?” Cassandra asked him and Kyle looked over his shoulder before leaning in.
“It is a secret but I can’t stop thinking about that day,” Kyle whispered in her ear.
This wasn’t the place or time to think about that but Kyle wanted to see if this would have any effect on her.
Cassandra immediately clasped her thighs shut. It had an effect but not in the way Kyle intended.
“I see…” Kyle thought to himself before retracting his face to pay attention to the man in front of him.
“Everything is going according to plan, sir. We are just finalizing things on this end,” The man said and Kyle gave an approving nod.
“This is good to hear. No man should want to take a child away from his mother, this will never happen under my watch,” Kyle reassured her.
[Ding!]
[Update in affection bar!]
[Cassandra’s affection bar: 5%!]
Kyle realized at that moment that she responded to masculinity and reassurance but why was it so low?
Kyle understood that she had more experience in life so it would be harder to win her over as easily as he did with Jane and Calista but this was too little.
Either way, it was a win because he now knew what her heart responded to and it was something he could offer her.
Kyle knew this case would be a good opportunity to influence it as much as possible.
“There is nothing to worry about, we will win this case,” Kyle placed his hand on her thigh but noticed her body was hot.
“Is she aroused?” Kyle thought to himself, looking at Cassandra but she couldn’t look him in the eye because she knew that Kyle had caught on.
She still cared about her image and didn’t want him to view her as a slut but this was because she had no idea what Kyle liked as of yet.
