Chapter 154: War is inevitable!
“You hand over that cultivator from your country to us and we won’t wage war on this nation.”
Huh? The president’s eyes widened in surprise as he processed the proposition, causing a ripple of astonishment to sweep through the room.
The other officials present glanced at each other, their expressions betraying a mix of curiosity and contemplation.
How can they sacrifice a cultivator from their country like that?
But again thinking about it, they felt like it was a good deal. Because if only that cultivator is sacrificed the other people in the nation can survive. In the event of a war, regardless of the outcome,, there would surely be casualties and they wanted to avoid that at any cost.
“We can’t hand over him.” At this time, Yu Hua, who had been silent the entire time, spoke.
Huh? Confused by the sudden interruption, all eyes in the room shifted towards Yu Hua and Jack Daniel frowned his brows “Woman, I don’t know who you are. You better stay silent here.”
The old man stood up from his seat and shouted angrily “You, do you know who she is? She is here as the representative of Zhenhzu, the Battle Maiden Lady Yu Hua herself.”
Wha- The people from the Western nations were shocked to the core hearing this name and their bodies shuddered.
Who doesn’t know about Yu Hua, the ruthless Battle Maiden and one of the strongest cultivators on the planet? Even in the past, she has killed many people from their Lycan Syndicate.
Jack Daniel’s heart palpated in fear as he didn’t expect the Battle Maide would be here “W-What do you mean by you can’t hand over him?” he stuttered, his voice trembling.
“Is it okay for you? We would wage war on this country and this country is doomed to fall under the attack of the Western nations.”
Yu Hua spoke keeping her calm voice “I don’t care about the president or the country, but you can’t have that cultivator.”
The government officials were taken aback by her bold declaration because she was prioritizing that cultivator over them and the country.
Jack Daniel narrowed his eyes as he gazed at Yu Hua “So you are really calling for a war, huh?”
Yu Hua spoke “If you think so, then so be it. Just try to wage war against this country and you will know what will happen.”
Jake Daniel gritted his teeth in frustration, he knew very well what she was trying to say. If she is here, it indirectly means that the Zhenhzu will be with this nation’s government if they wage war.
And when the strongest organization is with the government, how can they wage war confidentially? “If he is that important to you, we know many ways we can get our job done by killing him.”
*swiisshh* A surge of astral energy erupted from Yu Hua’s body and the whole room shook for a second “A scratch on him, I’ll have your head.” she uttered coldly, her eyes narrowing.
Eh? But suddenly she realized ‘Why am I getting so angry on his behalf?’
The government officials sitting in their seats were forcefully pushed back because of the intense aura and felt fear creeping into their hearts under coercion.
Jack Daniel stood up from his seat, his heart boiling in anger “Threatening us in this conference room? Are you indirectly calling us for war?”
Maintaining her cold voice, Yu Hua spoke “You dumbass, That’s what I am saying from the start, if you dare… you can wage war.”
*baam* Jack Daniel slammed his hand on the desk and cracks appeared on the desk. He took a brief glance at the President and again glanced at Yu Hua “You are gonna lose your country just because of that one guy.”
Jack Daniel spoke and left the room. As he left, the others also stood up to leave the room.
What the? The President was shocked and quickly stood up trying to call him back “Mr. Jack Daniel.”
“Mr.President.” The Ombudsman called him and the President turned his head towards him. “Lord Ombudsman?”
The old man spoke “You don’t have to go and beg him. Our country is not that weak in front of the Western nations for us to beg like this.”
“Since they are playing this game, we have no other choice but to join.”
One of the military officials spoke “But war is not a simple game. It will decline our Nation’s economy, many people will die and many families will be destroyed because of this mindless war.”

*tap* Yu Hua left the room and one of them spoke “All because of that single guy. If only we had handed him over, there would be no war.”
“Yeah, now we all gotta suffer because of him.”
“First, who is this guy? We gotta investid-”
“No!” The Ombudsman raised his voice stopping them from further discussing. Everyone turned their gaze towards him “Lord Ombudsman?”
The old man’s eyes darkened as he spoke “Don’t try to investigate about him. I am speaking from personal experience.”
Huh? The officials were confused hearing this “What do you mean by personal experience, Lord Ombudsman? Have you met him?”
Huh? Met him? Almost killed by him. But how can he say as the esteemed Lord Ombudsman, that he got beaten by a young man?
He lightly coughed, “*ahem* He is the one who actually cleared the Emperor level threat, Hun Chen.”
“And since Lady Yu Hua is prioritizing him this much… maybe we should just stay silent without prying information about him.”
…
At night-
In the luxurious resort, Zhao Tian is sitting alone in his room with a large book in front of him on the table. He had a frown on his face, as he inscribed another rue on the blank paper near him.
*creek* At this time, Zhao Suyin came inside his room and saw him reading rune scriptures. Zhao Tian turned his eyes at her and smiled “Mom…”
She walked and sat beside him on another chair. With a gentle smile, she raised her hand ruffling his soft white hair “Tian’er it is past midnight, you are still awake? It is bad for your health.”
Hearing this, Zhao Tian couldn’t help but chuckle “Mom, sometimes you are forgetting that I am a cultivator.”
Zhao Suyin sulked her lips “Cultivator or not, I am worried about my son’s health.”
She then glanced at the large book and the rune inscribed on the white paper beside that book. “It’s been years since I saw you studying like this.”
Zhao Tian just chuckled and continued doing his research. Zhao Suyin stood up from the chair and moved, lying on the bed “I’ll wait here until you finish your work.”
A few more minutes passed, and Zhao Tian tossed the crumpled paper ball in his hand toward the paper on the table. As the ball inched near the paper, the rune engraved in it suddenly glowed and *swish*
*swish* Zhao Tian turned to look at another piece of paper, and the rune engraved on it glowed. *swish* The paper ball came out of it.
Seeing this, a smile appeared on Zhao Tian ‘s face ‘It’s finally done.’ he muttered in his mind leaning back on the chair, stretching his muscles.
‘Now all I gotta do is create the rings and I also have to go to Zhenzhu.’
As he turned his head, he saw his Mother looking at him with a soft smile “Is it finished, Tian’er?” she didn’t know what he was doing, she just knew he was researching something.
Zhao Tian stood up from the chair and lay beside her on the bed “Yeah, it’s done.”
Zhao Suyin snuggled close to him and kissed his lips, “Very well…”
Zhao Tian also reciprocated the kiss enjoying the soft texture of her lips over his lips. A little later, she retracted the kiss and cuddled, placing her head on his chest and Zhao Tian hugged her tightly.
After a few more minutes, Zhao Ying who was still quite sleepy walked towards Zhao Tian’s room “Has Tian’er finished his work? *yawm*”
Upon opening the door, she was met with the sight of Zhao Tian embracing Zhao Suyin tenderly in his arms as they lay peacefully asleep.
Seeing this, a smile bloomed on Zhao Ying’s face and she also climbed up on the bed lying on other side of the bed.
She moved, hugging him from the bac “Tian’er…”
