I AM A MAGE BUT WITH MILF SYSTEM - Chapter 118
Chapter 118: Assasination
Julian smirked as he activated his invisibility cloak. A cold wave of mana enveloped him and made him invisible from the sight of the viscountess.
“Oh, is that so?” he said, his voice low and teasing. “Let’s see how unwavering your love is when faced with true power.”
The viscountess felt a chill run down her spine as she realized Julian had vanished without a trace. She panicked and looked around the room for his trace.
“Where are you?” she called out, her voice trembling slightly. Despite her bravado, the eerie silence and his sudden disappearance made her thought and heart race with fear.
However, she did not hear any reply. Julian had already left the hall and made his way silently through the corridors, completely hidden from everyone’s sight.
He couldn’t help but smirk at the audacity of the viscountess’s words. In her world, love and loyalty reigned supreme, but he intended to shatter that illusion.
He then approached the door where the king and duke had retreated. He saw a maid stationed outside with her calm and composed demeanor.
Oh, how cute. You believe love is the ultimate power? Let me enlighten you, dear viscountess, He said.
With a swift motion, Julian made his way towards the maid and knocked her out. Her body fell to the ground without a sound.
“Domain of Isolation” he called, and a glowing barrier surrounded the maid’s unconscious body. It enveloped her and caged her inside a separate dimension, where she could do nothing but wait until he saw it fit to release her.
He then turned his focus to the king’s chamber. He pushed the door open silently and slipped inside completely hidden in the shadows.
The king lay on his bed with his eyes closed as he tried to fall asleep, blissfully unaware of the danger lurking just beyond his sight. Julian felt a thrill of excitement course through him.
Julian smirked with mischief in his eyes and with a deep breath, he unleashed the Scared Realm aura.
The king’s eyes shot open as he sensed the sudden burst of an aura. The atmosphere around him thickened with tension.
“Who dares intrude upon my chamber?” he shouted with anger in his eyes.
He instinctively reached for his sword as he tried to see through the attacker’s invisibility but Julian’s cloak hid himself completely and the king could not see who was behind the attack.
The king himself was a Grand mage and was still unable to see through the attacker. This made his blood boil in anger, and he released his powerful aura of the Grand Mage.
The powerful wave of aura rippled through the castle, making everyone tremble as they sensed the king’s wrath. Panic overwhelmed the castle and whispers immediately echoed throughout the city.
All the important member of the Azazel family immediately made their way to the king’s chamber, with fear etched in their face.
However, Julian was completely unfazed and with a flick of his wrist, he summoned Domain of Isolation once more, wrapping himself in a protective barrier that immediately cut off his presence from the king’s reach. His aura disappeared as if it was never there in the first place.
The king frowned in confusion as he took in the sight. Inside his domain, Julian felt a rush of excitement. The king’s frustrated frown at the sudden disappearance of his attacker was amusing to him and the game was just beginning.
Without a second thought, he slipped away from the king’s room and returned to the grand hall and dispelled his Invisibility Cloak revealing himself to the viscountess. As his figure materialized before her, he couldn’t help but smirk, relishing the shock that ran through her face.
The viscountess’s expression shifted from confusion to outrage as she quickly regained her composure. Julian stood before her, confident and unyielding, ready to demonstrate that love, loyalty, and all the ideals she held dear were merely obstacles in the game he intended to win.
The viscountess’s heart raced and couldn’t tear her gaze away from the direction of the king’s room as she processed the tension that had just unfolded.
“What did you just do?” she demanded, her voice trembling slightly with a mix of fear and anger.
Julian merely laughed with a dark and amused sound that echoed in the air, leaving her feeling more unsettled than before.
Within moments, Duke Alden and the viscount dashed toward the king’s quarters. Concern were etched deeply into their faces.
The viscount with his brow furrowed in worry, called out, “What happened to his majesty?”
The viscountess who was still shaken could only shake her head in confusion.
“I don’t know,” she replied, her voice barely above a whisper.

They all made their way to the king’s quarter. As they arrived at the king’s room, the atmosphere was charged with uncertainty.
The sight that greeted them was unsettling, the room was dark, and the king sat on the edge of his bed. His expression was a blend of fury and confusion.
“What is the meaning of this?” he shouted, his voice commanding, echoing off the walls.
The tension was visible, and the viscountess felt her stomach burn as she realized that whatever game Julian was playing had just escalated to a dangerous level, one that could threaten everything they held dear.
And soon the other dukes also stormed into the room with their swords drawn and ready for action. The atmosphere grew even more tense.
Duke Ethwer’s voice rang out, “Your majesty, what happened?”
The king with his face etched with a mixture of disbelief and anger, replied, “Someone just attempted to assassinate me!”
At this revelation, the dukes collectively released a ferocious aura,
Duke Norish stepped forward and with a fury directed at the viscount.
“What is the meaning of this?” he demanded, his voice low and dangerous. “What games are you playing at?”
