Chapter 250: Creation and Destruction
Julian silently left his parents’ room at midnight. He paused at the door for a moment, taking one last glance at Regina, who was now sleeping soundly.
A warm smile crossed his lips as he closed the door behind him and walked through the dimly lit corridors back to his room.
Once inside, he teleported and vanished to his personal world, appearing in the middle of the towering peaks of one of the mountains in his world.
Hovering above the terrain, Julian descended gracefully onto the green surface below. He sat in the lotus position, the cool breeze brushing against his face, and began to focus his mind.
“System, absorb the mana,” Julian commanded.
The system quickly responded, “Yes, Host. Initiating absorption.”
Julian felt waves of energy enveloping him, flowing through his body like a rushing tide. These energies were powerful than any he had encountered before, their intensity almost overwhelming.
A laugh escaped his lips. “So this is what half a million points can give you,” he said with a mix of amusement and satisfaction in his tone.
For the next half hour, the mana continued to nourish him, strengthening his body and soul with its boundless power. When the process finally concluded, Julian stood and stretched, feeling refreshed but slightly underwhelmed.
“That barely did anything to push my realm,” he muttered, shaking his head. Then, with a small grin, he added, “But I am already an Arch Mage, so it’s not surprising.”
Julian’s thoughts drifted back to the moment of his elemental awakening—the day everything had begun.
He remembered the surge of power when the lightning element had first awakened within him. It was in that same moment that the system had appeared, an unforeseen force that had forever altered his destiny.
The system had been more than just a guide; it had been the foundation of his meteoric rise. Through its power, Julian found opportunities he could never have imagined, opportunities to grow stronger, to dominate, and to indulge in “pleasures”.
Now, as an Arch Mage and with the status of a genuine god, he couldn’t help but smirk.
It’s all because of the system, he thought, a glimmer of pride and gratitude flashing in his eyes.
What had started as a spark had grown into a storm, and Julian had no intention of slowing down.
He chuckled as he leaned back on the soft grass, staring at the sky. “System, what exactly are you?” he asked in genuine curiosity.
The system responded in its usual nonchalant voice, “What else, Host? I am your guide.”
“Hmmm…” Julian said, a sly grin forming on his lips. “That’s not quite true now, is it?”
“What do you mean, Host?” the system replied, a faint trace of hesitation creeping into its tone.
Julian’s eyes narrowed slightly. “I remember when I first got you. You were so… active,” he said.
“Always urging me to take steps I never imagined, to seduce and conquer even my own family members. You showed me depraved tasks and actions, pushing me further with every opportunity. But now? You have grown silent. You are watching from the shadows, letting me make my own moves. Why is that?”
The system remained silent for a moment before replying, “Host, my purpose has always been to assist you in achieving your desires. As you have grown, so has your independence. I observe and adapt to your will.”
Julian laughed, his voice echoing through the peaceful landscape.
“Oh, come on, System. Don’t joke with me.” He leaned forward and added. “After observing so many things—creation, destruction, energies and even the tiniest particles like pixels—I have come to understand that there’s always a higher level of power at play.”
The system stayed silent, but Julian continued. “As much you try to hide it, I know you’re part of something bigger. And I also know you have restrictions, rules about how much you can reveal to me. Isn’t that right?”
A moment passed before the system responded, its voice calm yet carried a hint of something Julian hadn’t noticed previously.
“Host, you are perceptive, as always. While I am your guide, I am also bound by parameters you may not yet comprehend. My purpose is to assist your growth within those boundaries.”
Julian grinned, lying back again. “Are you related to Trinity? Or maybe… you yourself are a part of Trinity?” he asked, his tone teasing yet probing.
The system remained silent, offering no response. Julian chuckled to himself, shaking his head. “Figures. You’re always tight-lipped when it comes to the important stuff.”

He stood, stretching himself before flying to the sky. His world, though still healing from the aftermath of his advancement to Arch Mage, was developing once again.
He hovered for a moment, taking in the recent changes. “Not bad, but let me help advance it further,” he muttered, raising his hands to the sky.
He channeled his cosmic energy, letting it surge upward into the vast purple sky above. Immediately, the world responded. The sun-like star that illuminated his world began to expand, its light growing more radiant and intense. Waves of mana rippled outward, falling to the land below, bathing it in healing energy.
The ground seemed to glow as plants flourished and the very air filled with life and vitality.
Julian’s gaze darkened with focus as he extended his other hand, channeling his death energy. Its cold, oppressive aura swirled around him, transforming into a dense, visible force.
With a swift motion, he sent it surging upward, directing it to collide with the cosmic energy in the void above.
The two energies met in an explosive clash, each vying for dominance. Julian watched the breathtaking sight before him with keen anticipation.
“It should work, right?” he said to himself.
The system’s voice joined in. “Host, what are you trying to do?”
Julian eyes glowed as he replied. “Hmm… after having cosmic energy for so long, I have realized something. Though it is the center of creation, it cannot create something out of nothing.”
The system paused for a brief moment before asking, its voice tinged with confusion, “What do you mean, host?”
“What it means,” Julian continued, “is that cosmic energy, on its own, can’t create anything. It needs something to already exist in order to bring creation into reality.”
The system paused, a flicker of confusion mixing in its usually composed tone. “I do not get it.”
Julian laughed softly, “Take my world as an example. It started as my sea of consciousness. Because of cosmic energy, it eventually became a separate world. Creation didn’t happen out of nothing—it happened because there was something to work with.”
“The same goes for the sun,” he said. “It already existed, and with the help of cosmic energy, it expanded. That’s how creation works.”
The system paused as it processed the explanation before finally responding, “Yes, I finally get it.”
Julian raised an eyebrow with a curiosity glinting in his eyes. “Aren’t you supposed to be knowledgeable about these things?”
“No, host. I do not know the internal workings. I only know what I was fed to know.” the system responded. “But it sure is interesting that you learned about it,” the system added. “And do you know the reason behind it?”
Julian leaned back in contemplation, a thoughtful expression crossing his face.
“I am not sure, but I do have an idea. The reason might be stability. Cosmic energy is just too stable to create something out of nothing. What we need, I think, is instability, or better yet, chaos.”
“Hm, that sure is interesting, host,” the system said, a hint of admiration in its voice.
Julian nodded. “Yes, I noticed the pattern. Before any significant development arises, there’s always chaos or instability. Take my immature sea of consciousness, for example. There were violent lightning storms, wild chaotic energy tearing everything apart. But with every destruction, there was a hint of creation.”
The system finally understood and said, “So that’s why you are colliding cosmic and death energy on a large scale—to see if anything creates itself.”
Julian nodded, a determined look on his face. “Yes. Although it may take some time, we can observe the changes.”
Suddenly, another explosion erupted causing a massive burst of energy that tore through the void. The explosions seemed to happen at random intervals, but since they were contained within Julian’s world, they were controlled and posed no threat to any surrounding areas.
Julian then raised his hand and called out, “Guardian Manifestation.”
A wave of mana gathered and concentrated to a single point. Slowly, a new figure began to materialize. Unlike the previous guardian, whose form radiated a purple, lightning glow, this one glowed with golden streams of light.
Julian looked at the glowing figure and said, “You will be named Guard 2.”
The golden figure nodded silently, his eyes locking onto the chaotic clash unfolding in the void.
“You will observe the void and record every change that occurs here. Remember to stay at a safe distance, and never look away, no matter what happens.” Julian instructed.
Guard 2 immediately shifted into position. His eyes fixed on the clash, ensuring that every detail of the cosmic and death energy collision was carefully monitored and documented.
