I AM A MAGE BUT WITH MILF SYSTEM - Chapter 283
Chapter 283: Explosion
As they remained entwined, a sharp and irritated voice rang in Julian’s mind, “Now get the fuck out,” it said.
Julian tensed at the tone, instantly recognizing the anger within it. He knew better than to push its limit.
“Dakota, let’s go. Someone’s unhappy about our presence.” Julian said, glancing at Dakota.
Dakota tilted her head, her brows furrowed in confusion. “Who’s unhappy?” she asked, her voice trembling slightly.
Julian gave a small smile but remained silent. The oppressive aura in the cavern had intensified, filling the space entirely. The air felt heavy and suffocating.
As they stood to leave, Julian noticed that Aria and the rest of the villagers had already vacated the cavern. He tightened his grip on Dakota’s hand, leading her swiftly toward the exit.
Once outside the cavern, we saw Aria and the other villagers standing in a group under the moonlit sky.
Aria stepped forward. “What took you so long?” she asked, her tone carrying a hint of irritation.
Before Julian could respond, Dakota shot him a glare, her cheeks flushed. “He was… feeling the ritual way too much,” she muttered.
Julian chuckled. “I have to admit,” he said with a sly grin, “I enjoyed this tradition of your tribe.”
His gaze then shifted to the villagers, noticing their calm and composed expressions. Their mad and wild demeanor from earlier was completely gone, replaced by the ordinary expressions of normal human beings.
Seems the ritual really is over. Whatever that was inside the cavern, it’s finished now, he thought.
One of the villagers stepped forward, sighing. “You should leave before the deity’s anger turns to you. Outsiders are not meant to participate in this ritual.”
Aria shook her head. “No, don’t worry about it,” she said firmly. “If our deity didn’t acknowledge his presence, he wouldn’t have survived the ritual.”
Julian straightened up, his expression momentarily serious as he swallowed hard.
Yes, she got that right, he thought to himself. The cold power he had felt during the ritual still lingered in his mind, humbling himself.
He glanced again at the villagers and noticed the absence of both Amir and Harith.
“Where are Harith and Amir?” he asked.
Dakota’s head lowered, and Julian, who was still holding her, could feel the faint tremble in her body. The villagers turned silent, exchanging hesitant glances, but no one dared to speak.
The tense silence was broken by Aria. “He is gone,” she said softly, her voice heavy with both reverence and acceptance. “Replaced by our deity.”
Just then, the energy within the cavern surged to its peak, making the ground quake beneath their feet.
Julian’s instincts kicked in, and he immediately shouted, “Get away from the cavern!”
The villagers froze momentarily before scattering like frightened animals. Some tripped over each other, while others grabbed at their loved ones, dragging them away from the impending disaster.
Without wasting a moment, Julian picked Dakota into his arms. She whimpered at his sudden action, “Wha…at’s… happening?”
Julian’s expression was serious with panic and fear evident in his eyes. He didn’t answer her, his focus solely on getting as far away from the cavern as possible.
Dakota, feeling the tension of the moment, swallowed her questions and stayed silent, clutching him tightly as he carried her away from the ominous energy behind them.
Once they reached a safe distance, he carefully put her down on her feet. He didn’t take his eyes off the cavern, his whole body tense as he braced himself for whatever was about to come next.
A cold shiver ran through him as the energy continued to build inside. He could feel the power, the deafening hum of the energy, and the impending destruction.
And then, as if the world could no longer contain it, the energy exploded.
The explosion sent shockwaves through the ground. The earth quaked violently, the force so powerful that it threw some of the nearby villagers off their feet.

A few of them cried out, struggling to maintain their balance, their faces pale with terror as they tried to escape the force.
The explosion didn’t stop at the cave. It surged outward in a blinding flash of energy that consumed everything in its path. The surrounding area was torn apart. Rocks, trees, and debris flew through the air, making the sight look like the end of the world.
The cave was completely destroyed with nothing but a big crater and foggy dust that filled the air.
The villagers stood at a distance, their eyes wide with shock as they took in the sight of the destruction.
The energy continued radiating outward, transforming into a sharp blade that cut through the air with terrifying force. It launched with such an intense power that it seemed to distort the space around it, making the air vibrate in wild intensity.
Julian’s body was filled with goosebumps, and he immediately focused within. He could feel the overwhelming power threatening to consume everything around him.
His hand shot out, and with a sharp, commanding voice, he shouted, “Domain of Isolation!”
A wave of mana erupted from his body in a blinding burst. The energy then gathered around him, flowing in all directions before forming a thick barrier of light.
The barrier expanded rapidly, enveloping him, Dakota, and the surrounding villagers.
The villagers watched in awe as the barrier took shape before them. The sheer strength of the barrier was unlike anything they had ever seen, and it radiated power and vitality.
“Archmage…” Aria whispered, her voice full of awe.
Dakota’s eyes widened as the weight of Aria’s words sank in. “Archmage?” she repeated softly, with a mix of confusion and realization crossing her face.
She thought about Julian’s calm demeanor, the way he took everything with no hesitation and no fear.
Her gaze softened as she thought to herself, No wonder he had the balls to come to this tribe, willingly take part in our rituals, and face our god. He was no ordinary man after all.
