I Became My Healer Elf Character - Chapter 142
Chapter 142: Magical Girl Aiko
As Aiko finished the story, the group grew quiet. They’d relocated to Hikari’s halfway through, and they had all made themselves comfortable. Hikari and Aiko sat on Hikari’s bed, and the others were listening around on bean bags.
Hikari’s arm wrapped around her mother. Listening to the story made her realize how much she missed Aiko. Of course, there was a part of her that wanted to know or see that she was different. That Aiko had noticed differences in her when she was a child. But those things came in second to being present.
Her mother’s palm pressed against her head as she pet Hikari. “I’ve always loved and cared for you. I wished you’d have written to me at least. What have you been up to all of this time? And what kind of adventures did you go on? These were all questions I thought of. To think, you had been a goddess the whole time. But when I look at you like this, you seem like a regular girl to me.”
Hikari smiled. “It makes me feel better if you continue to think of me as a regular girl. As my mother, I would love for you to be able to visit my domain in the future.”
“Maybe I’ll have to do just that then. What do the five of you plan to do while you are here?”
“I was thinking we could probably go to a convention. Is there an event sometime soon? I could get you ready to come with us.”
“You would invite me as well? But I don’t have a costume.”
“Of course I will invite you. You have to get to know my future wives, and this will be the perfect opportunity, I think.”
Kurayami nodded her assent. “I would also like to get to know Aiko-sama.”
A flood of heat filled Aiko’s face as she answered the dragon. “Okay, but please, call me Aiko. Likewise, I would love to call you Kurayami-chan. Is that okay?”
The dragon nodded enthusiastically. “I would love for you to call me that.”
“Me too!” Mizuko cheered.
Syndra looked in confusion at the group. “I have no idea why, but this whole time, I’ve been able to understand all of you. Wait, I’m speaking Japanese? How is that possible?”
Hikari grinned smugly. “I placed an enchantment on your outfit. Everything is being translated to the local language. I figured out about this magic on my own. I had always wondered why I’d been able to understand the language of two foreign worlds no matter where I traveled to, and it seemed like the magic was implanted in me.”
The cat girl’s ears twitched. “That makes sense.”
Aiko hugged Hikari close to her once more. “You really have learned a lot of new things, but I would like to see a magic show when you get the chance. Also…would I be able to learn magic?”
The elf nodded. “I can teach you magic, but you currently don’t have the capacity to use it. Simply traveling to my domain would be enough, or I can make it happen to you either way.”
Aiko’s eyes widened. “And what about the rest of the people on Earth. Are they going to be able to use magic eventually?”
Hikari shrugged. “I have no idea. I might make that happen in the distant future. In simple terms Earth is unique. It evolved without magic, so introducing magic now this late in the game could be detrimental. It could be like pouring oil on a burning fire.”
“You’re right. I’m so glad that you’ve matured a lot. I wonder what it would have been like if you became a goddess when you were this small.” Aiko gestured with her hand to a height that was even smaller than a dwarf’s.
Hikari felt her face burning. “Mama, please don’t embarrass me anymore.”
Aiko parted some of the elf’s hair from her face with a smile. “Embarrassing you is also partially my job. I don’t know of a mother that doesn’t embarrass their children with old stories.”
Hikari pouted and inflated her cheeks.
The nearby dragon was excited while watching this display. Her tail waved back and forth enthusiastically, and she grinned from ear to ear. “I’m even more glad I could come here. She looks so cute like this.”
All of the others nodded in agreement with the dragon. It was as if they had turned against the poor elf, and she wanted to bury her face into a pillow. Luckily, she was saved by the very instigator.
Aiko’s voice spoke up. “Now, we should not tease her too much. Otherwise, she will definitely come to resent all of us. I don’t want to face damnation from my daughter turned goddess.”
Everyone laughed at that, and the group continued to talk among themselves cheerfully, until they ate inside of the dining room later on in the day.
Aiko had always been great at cooking, and she served the best food for all of the girls, winning over their stomachs with her recipes.
Even though this experience had been embarrassing for Hikari, it had also brought a lot of joy and smiling faces with it. As the day continued, the group decided they would go out in the afternoon.
Aiko looked it up on one of her computers, and it turned out there was an event going on nearby. Though, she had nothing to prepare herself for the event, Hikari took it upon herself to dress her mother.

The elf dug through her inventory and found several magic outfits. To her surprise, Aiko had wanted to be a magical girl. Hikari found a pink wand inside of her inventory with a star embezzled at the end. It sparkled faintly, and there was an outfit to go with it.
A pink dress with white frills mixed with the outfit. Luckily for Aiko, the equipment could change sizes to accommodate her large breasts.
Hikari grew surprised with how great the elderly woman looked in it. There was an odd contrast between the cuteness of a little girl and the face that held a few wrinkles of time. However, that fact quickly changed as the magic in the dress activated.
Oh shit…
The elf watched as Aiko’s face became younger again. Her cheeks slowly filled out becoming more plump, and all of the wrinkled skin became smooth once more. The beautifying effect lasted for half a minute, and then it ended. Even Aiko’s hair had become pink just like a certain goddess’s.
Hikari stared at the description of the set items with a frown.
[Remnant’s Pink Dress] – This outfit once adorned makes the wearer physically young again. While wearing this outfit, the girl will be immune to aging.
[Remnant’s Pink Wand] – Once combined with the Remnant’s Dress, the user will gain a huge boost in Charisma, and their body will reflect the beauty of the goddess who once prowled the lands with this outfit.
[Remnant’s White Stockings] – These stockings make up a four piece set, and they give the wearer an immunity to death. Additionally, they give the wearer a huge boost to stamina.
[Remnant’s Black Shoes] – Completing the set, these shoes give a huge boost to magic power, light affinity, and they bring the wearer closer to their goddess.
Kurayami stared at the girl before them who’d transformed into a cute doll. “Magnificent. With that pink hair, you look like Amelia.”
Aiko tilted her head cutely, striking a pose that shot into the hearts of her surroundings. Everyone looking at her wanted to look away from that radiance immediately.
Hikari wanted to sob. “It’s not fair. Why do you still get to maintain that size.”
Aiko looked down at her breasts and smiled. “The size is not all that matters, deary…”
Everyone’s eyes widened at the sound of the girl’s voice. It had become less mature and taken on a hint of playfulness.
It reminded Hikari of those voice actresses that she heard when she watched magical girl shows. It had a cute sparkle to it, and her tone was bubbly and bouncy. The girl also seemed more energetic.
Aiko pumped her fist into the air and stared at herself in the mirror. “I can’t wait to show myself off now that I look like this!”
Hikari struggled against the contrast of her mother’s new attitude compared to the cool mature woman from before. “If you want, you don’t have to wear this, and I can find something else.”
Aiko shook her head. “I love this! I feel so young again, and it makes me feel alive!”
Ayase tapped on Hikari’s shoulder and whispered into her ear. “Don’t deny her this. She looks so happy. Besides, would you really deny a woman’s chance to be young and beautiful? Look at her…I want to squeeze her into a hug already.”
Hikari couldn’t deny that she got the same feeling while looking at her mother, but it was accompanied by another feeling of wrongness. The elf sighed.
“Don’t worry. She made her own choice, and it would be mean for me to deny this.”
