Chapter 129: The Colonies of Ethemia! II
Achilles’ eyes narrowed.
Luna tapped on a tablet she had picked up from one of the many metallic-glass tables in the room, her fingers moving swiftly as she turned toward one of the large screens that dominated the space.
Images began to flash across the screen, projections of an entity with a solid, dazzling star hovering above her head.
“The Transcendent Monster…this being is one of the core powerhouses stationed in the Colony City of Neon by the Lunaris Colony Overseers. From the information I’ve managed to gather, Monster is not only one of the most trusted entities by the Overseers, but may even be connected to, or be a part of, the highly secretive Thirteen Royal Colony Dynasties.”
…!
The Thirteen Royal Colony Dynasties.
Luna uttered the term with a weight that sent waves of tension through the air.
“The Lunaris Colony Overseers are merely one of the Royal Colony Dynasties, though they control multiple Colony Cities. Across the vast stretches of Ethemia, there are twelve other Royal Colony Dynasties. Dynasties that have preserved the histories of the last few decades and protected hundreds of colonies from extinction.”
Her gaze hardened, her expression turning grave.
“Dynasties whose roots stretch back an unknown number of years. Dynasties that safeguard the secrets of the world, secrets buried in the annals of time.”
Luna’s expression grew more solemn as she went on!
“The knowledge and power held by the Royal Colony Dynasties is an abyss, a hole so deep that one could get lost within its endless layers of truths and lies. Information is filtered with meticulous precision. The knowledge that the masses are allowed to know and the knowledge they are never meant to discover are separated by countless veils. Even I, with all my privileges, often feel as though I’ve been fed fragments of falsehoods laced with small grains of truth.”
“But, there are a few things I’ve confirmed with absolute certainty.”
Her gaze flickered toward Achilles.
“One of them is the fact that the most important Colony Cities, the ones controlled by a single Dynasty- are built atop Catacombs that house extraordinarily powerful Ancient Ones. There is a direct correlation between the strength of these Ancient Ones and the types of Aeonic Treasures that can manifest.”
…!
Aeonic Treasures.
Achilles’ thoughts immediately went to the Aeonic Evolutius Vein Core he had assimilated before.
When Luna reached this point, Achilles raised a hand, stopping her mid-sentence.
“Aeonic Treasures…tell me more about them.”
Luna nodded as she sensed his tone, her fingers dancing across the tablet once more as the massive screen shifted, displaying vibrant, fantastical images of treasures that even Ethereal Physiology Masters would salivate at!
“Over the months and years, various Aeonic Treasures have been discovered. Some emerged from Leyline Fractures, while others were obtained from the depths of the Catacombs. A great deal of what we know suggests that many of these treasures were once sacred items utilized by the Ancient Ones. Others are entirely new formations birthed by the proliferation of Evolutius Energy that now saturates the world around us.”
“But the most relevant Aeonic Treasure for King Primal… is this.”
The display shifted, and what appeared was nothing short of a wonder.
A flower.
Or at least, that was what it appeared to be.
But its size was utterly staggering.
“The Holy Hyacinthus Mountain Flower.”
Achilles observed it closely without blinking.
The flower’s stem was as thick as the trunk of an ancient tree, its sheer size and scale giving the impression of a mountain rather than a mere plant.

The screen depicted the stem extending for miles, and at its peak, near the clouds, a breathtaking purple flower bloomed — its petals unfurling in multiple layers, each petal hundreds of miles long.
Luna’s voice was laced with awe as she spoke.
“This… is the Holy Hyacinthus Mountain Flower. It was captured by a satellite over the Colony City of Neon and other neighboring cities. Its size alone made many do a double take. This Mountain Flower is quite literally the size of a mountain. And its peak, filled with vibrant Evolutius Energy, has been a source of tremendous intrigue all around. But, it is located in the Cenotaph Wild Lands.”
…!
The Cenotaph Wild Lands.
Achilles’ eyes sharpened.
“Cenotaph…”
A word that meant an open tomb.
The Evolutius Catacombs were tombs.
If the Cenotaph meant an open tomb, then…
Luna nodded and continued.
“The Cenotaph Wild Lands are regions of Ethemia that harbor Evolutius Catacombs beneath their surface. But because no Colony Cities exist above these regions, there are no humans to contain the Evolutius Beasts within. As a result, the Beasts flood out freely, spreading unchecked across the land. These regions become the Cenotaph Wild Lands- lands teeming with roaming Evolutius Beasts!”
Luna’s voice was heavy as she continued, displaying images around the Holy Hyacinthus Mountain Flower.
For hundreds of miles, the images depicted endless hordes of Evolutius Beasts swarming around the colossal Mountain Flower.
Luna swiped further, and the images of the surroundings of the mountain revealed devastation.
For hundreds of nearby miles.
There was only…
Destruction.
Signs of fallen civilizations.
Decimated buildings.
Frozen corpses of both Beasts and humans, casualties of Evolutius Nuclear Weapons.
Destroyed warships.
Vessels.
Cars.
The wreckage of technological advancements that had been swept away by unrelenting chaos!
The images shifted again as this time, they revealed towering, maze-like walls erected around a massive, dome-shaped domain.
Fortress Reinforced Maze Walls.
Guarded by Warships, armed with Turrets and Evolutius Plasma Cannons.
Surrounded by a transparent barrier that Achilles recognized immediately.
A barrier of a Colony City!
Luna’s voice was heavy as she continued!
“Colony Cities sit in regions of immense authority. We have to protect against Evolutius Beasts emerging from the Catacomb Entrances within the City while also maintaining forces outside the walls. Beyond the barrier, Ethereal Physiology Masters and Meridian Transformation Advanced Humans stand ready- keeping the Colony Maze Walls safe and eliminating any Evolutius Beasts that dare approach.”
WAA!
“Outside the Colony City of Neon is another Apex Ethereal Physiology Master. A terrifying man who goes by the codename- Wolfman. Wolfman…has defended against multiple swarms of Evolutius Beasts alongside the forces of the Lunaris Colony Overseers and their Evolutius Armaments and Warships. But that is the reality beyond the safety of Colony Cities.”
Her voice grew quieter as she returned to the main point.
“And the Holy Hyacinthus Mountain Flower lies between fourteen nearby Colony Cities, deep within the Cenotaph Wild Lands. Many of these cities fall under different Dynasties- three Dynasties, to be exact.”
…!
“The Lunaris Colony Overseers, The Sunborn Colony Overseers, and the Akkonia Colony Overseers.”
Luna’s expression grew serious.
“This Holy Hyacinthus Mountain Flower is the most prized Aeonic Treasure ever observed around us recently, and many powerful Ethereal Physiology Masters are already vying for clearance to approach it. But most are too fearful… because it is believed that multiple Ancient Ones who have awakened in the Cenotaph Wild Lands have already begun to ascend the Mountain- either to obtain the Aeonic Treasures for themselves… or to guard it, ensuring that no others can reach it.”
“…”
Silence.
A chilling silence filled the room as Luna’s words settled into the air.
On his lap, Rose tightened her hands around his neck while burying her head deeper into his chest as if she could also feel this tension.
And Achilles…shockingly had his eyes bright as he even seemed to have found a direction to go towards!
