Chapter 192: Skyborne III
The floating continent ablaze in green and violet flame was called Everburn Aerie, the domain of one of the Nine Supreme Forces- the Acheron Phoenix Assembly.

A land suspended in unfathomable twilight, its terrain was carved from obsidian stone and ancient bones, shaped like the shattered skull of a long-dead phoenix. Twin-colored fires- viridian green and radiant violet- danced across its skies, wrapping the land in a haunting glow. Here roosted the Ancient Millenium Acheron Phoenixes, reborn from the time-lost ashes of forgotten epochs as their cries would ring out for hundreds of miles!

These majestic beings pulsed with age-old Primordial Energy, their very presence echoing with rebirth. When unleashed, their Dharma Manifestations could eclipse mountain ranges, their shimmering feathers burning like leaves in autumn flame, their cries rippling across time, bending it for seconds in the Ancient Times.

At the center of Everburn Aerie stood the Throne of Ashen Echoes, where the twin sovereigns reigned- Azuryan the Verdant Flame and Solmyron the Golden Pyre.

Solmyron.

The Golden Pyre.

The immense golden phoenix wrapped in roaring fire was the one being addressed by the smaller, verdant-flamed figure. His other title, Hell Flame Master, carried weight across continents. Even now, remnants of Aeonic Chains fell from his colossal frame—shackles that only grew stronger because of his own unchecked power.

When Solmyron’s eyes opened, they radiated deep astral light, unleashing power so vast it trembled the fabric of the continent. Among beings of Astral Core Ascension, his recovered might stood near the pinnacle.

Had the chains shattered completely, he would’ve already surpassed Astral Core Ascension and reclaimed a portion of the full breadth of the power he once wielded in the ancient times.

“You may go, Little Ayan… but return soon,” his voice thundered, lined with bursts of gold-flamed majesty. “As we wake from slumber, HIS calling has reached us. And we cannot deny the voice of the Primordial Light of Darkness…”

…!

Solmyron’s voice shook the clouds, the skies shimmering gold under his presence. His full form was the size of legends—wings as wide as mountain ranges, cloaked in Solar Aether, capable of unraveling skies with a single beat.

And even he, with all that fury, had bent to the command of the Primordial Light of Darkness.

What force could command a Leader of one of the Nine Supreme Forces?

The green-flamed phoenix, Ayan, bowed low.

“Understood, Master. My other reason for disturbing your slumber…is them again. The Atlantian Behemoth Tribe. Their Thalassphere Arx drifts closer to our domain. Is this…a signal for war?”

…!

The Atlantian Behemoth Tribe.

Another of the Nine Supreme Forces.

Their “continent,” if it could be called that, was no land at all—but a floating sea.

The Golden Pyre slowly shook his head, his gaze timeless.

“They too have heeded the call of the Primordial Light of Darkness. They move as we do…to reclaim the Planar Destiny. That which the Ancient Races lost, and the puny Humans now possess—it must be taken back.”

WUUUM!

Pillars of roaring flame surged into the heavens, the air burning with remembered fury.

The Ancient Races—slumbered, shackled, diminished—and their legacy had been handed to those once beneath them.

To Humans.

Creatures who now roamed free, believing this Plane theirs.

But no.

No!

“O Golden Pyre, calm your anger…”

Ayan’s voice shook as she stepped back, her very essence recoiling. Even for her—a phoenix of green flame—it felt like her skin would ignite.

The flames simmered at Solmyron’s breath, his words spilling in waves of heat.

“These Humans…once slaves, now hold the Planar Destiny. They must be broken. Subjugated. Shackled again. Only then will the Planar Destiny be ours again. The Atlantian Behemoths are just one among many that march under the banner of the Primordial Light of Darkness.”

…!

He said it again.

The name chilled even her soul.

The Primordial Light of Darkness.

Ayan, powerful though she was, dared not speak of him casually. Neither did others. He was an Entity of Paradox—the first flame birthed from the deepest abyss. A being whose whispers summoned obedience from humans and monsters alike.

She did not dwell on it. Instead, she bowed, then lifted toward the skies.

“I shall pursue the newly awakened Millenium Acheron Phoenix, Master. If I encounter Human Tribes…?”

“Enslave them. Do not kill. Kill only to make a point. Until we reclaim the Planar Destiny, thinning their numbers will diminish its potency.”

…!

“Understood, Master. I will depart with a Phoenix Legion under my banner.”

Her words echoed like a war drum as she soared upward, morphing mid-flight into a massive green phoenix. The skies of Everburn Aerie blazed around her, her flames a streak of viridian glory.

And over a thousand miles away from this airborne continent drifted another.

A floating orb of water- a celestial sea suspended in the sky. The Thalassphere Arx.

Formed entirely of enchanted ocean, the Thalassphere Arx spanned over 10,000 miles, its cerulean body surrounded by colossal wings of liquid sky that beat slowly to keep it aloft in the stratosphere.

It was nothing short of mythical.

Within its glimmering tides swam a living armada—The Atlantian Behemoth Tribe. Titans of the sea, riding monsters like Leviathans, Krakens, Armored Plesiosaurs, and Serpent Whales, each beast commanding entire storms with a breath.

In ancient times, even Sky Dharma Kings could not pierce the Abyssal Shellstone armor worn by the Atlantians. Their rites, called Tidal Oaths, were binding ceremonies conducted with their beasts deep in the oceanic heart of the Arx.

Their leader, High Tiderune Kael’Voryn, commanded a Behemoth whose breath alone stirred tempests across entire continents.

Yet even this force—immense, elemental—cast wary glances toward the same presence the Phoenixes feared.

The Primal Light of Darkness watched them all.

And the true question remained—just how many of the ancient powers had already knelt before his whispers?

In the midst of these shifting tides of power, in a forgotten corner of this boundless Plane…

A Kingdom had risen into the skies.

Few knew of it right now.

But many would.

An insignificant Skyborne Kingdom…that just might topple grand floating Continents with thousands of years of history.
