II Every day, the Colony Cities under the banner of the Lunaris Colony Overseers faced new threats.

The Evolutius Catacombs continued to be a source of power and a source of misery as there were some Evolutius Beasts that were simply too dreadful, and when left alone to breed over time…their concentration became too potent as Leyline Fractures occurred.

And they affected the masses more than anyone else, as when one looked at the statistics of exactly where Leyline Fractures happened the most, they would come to startling conclusions.

“Haa…” Major David sighed again before he rose up and looked outside of the compound.

Very few Strike Teams had the capability to enter gates such as these as a few hours could pass before another team went in, being starkly different to the Catacomb Entrances number above 20s or 30s where many teams would routinely be seen going in or out.

At this moment, after a Middle Tier and a Low Tier Body Modification Advanced Humans entered some time ago, a genuine team seemed to have formed in front of Catacomb Entrance #11 that contained…three Lesser Meridian Transformation Advanced Humans and 5 Upper Tier Body Modification Advanced Humans.

At the forefront was the Lightning Hand, Amos himself as beside him, a slender man with a red mohawk had a fiery red Meridian on his right hand pulsing with flames, and the other Meridian Transformation Advanced Human was a slightly wider woman that had a brown Meridian flashing powerfully on her hand.

The other 5 Upper Tier Body Modification Advanced Humans included three men and two women with cold expressions who looked around them.

After confirming their gear, Evolutius Storage Boxes, and all other things to be clear, Amos began walking towards the dazzling blue portal without so much as a word as the others followed.

The guards on either sides of the Gates did not even bother asking for verification when they could see the dazzling Meridians on three of the Advanced Humans here, breathing a sigh of relief after they passed and disappeared into the blue portal.

Not too long after they entered, a military vehicle arrived as Major David stepped out of it and looked towards the Catacomb Entrance #11, giving another heavy sigh before he tapped the car behind him.

“Alright, let us go see what this mess will amount to.” From the car, a Unique Elemental Advanced Human came out adorned entirely in black, her red lips opening to release white air of extreme coldness!

Past the blue portal that suddenly had many entrants.

The Lightning Hand Strike Team came to a stop on a fork that had different paths as Amos coldly spoke towards an Upper Tier Body Modification Advanced Human in the back.

“Cypher.” He only called out their name, but they already knew their job as a woman clad in a Middle Tier Evolutius Body Armor produced by Titan Industries came to the forefront and took off their mask, breathing in the nearby air before they released a green smoke to paint the floor of the Catacombs ahead of them.

The green smoke dispersed seconds later, but on the right side, there were two unique green footprints that flashed brightly, the woman pulling her mask up as she spoke out.

Many Strike Teams had a tracker as, more often than not, they were used to gauge if any large groups of Evolutius Beasts were coming or to track the movements of some.

The moment that Amos received the confirmation, he proceeded to the rightmost path as he already imagined all the things he could do once he got his hands on a woman with standards of beauty that exceeded anything he had seen before!

– In the deeper areas through Catacomb Entrance #11.

“I feel like we’re bullying them, Little Fatty!” The vibrant voice of Rose echoed out as her verdant flames spun in a circular motion to cause a spinning tornado around three roaring Upper Tier Evolutius Beasts- their lightning blasts actually being dissipated by the temperatures of the green flames as their tough exteriors began to melt from the heat around them.

In the periphery, 22 corpses of Middle Tier Evolutius Beasts lay crumpled, over half having their bodies decimated by strikes of lightning as the others were burnt to crisp.

After withstanding the storm of flames…the lightning around the three Upper Tier Evolutius Beasts was long faded as they wailed out, and massive bolts of poisonous lightning crashed down through the green flames soon after to decimate and destroy their last remaining defenses.

In less than 30 seconds, the three Upper Tier Lightning Treants breathed their last as silence came to the surroundings.

The area was increasingly wider and wider as they looked like they were in a cavernous space filled with vines and growing trees, and the corpses of 22 Middle Tier Evolutius Beasts and 3 Upper Tier ones now lay around them as both Achilles and Rose came to look around them with determined expressions.

Their incursion into the deeper areas of the Catacombs had continued to be smooth so far as they had cleared another cluster of Lightning Treants even before this, and they only seemed to be getting more and more powerful and numerous as they went deeper.

But Achilles could not complain as already, even without assimilating the corpses here, the percentage of Assimilation of the Organic Phanerogam Lifeform had spilled over 90!

It meant that after these corpses…he would be well over the Second Echelon!
