V It felt like all light was drained in the area as Major David spoke of the words left behind by the First Transcendent Advanced Human!

It was only now that Achilles realized he had stopped breathing, and he was not the only one.

“What the shit is that…” Rose cursed out as she felt her heart beating fast.

They were just words.

It should have just been words.

And yet…why did they all feel like their throats were dry just listening to them?!

“What the hell, David?” Even Eloise, who did not speak much, could not help but look at Major David in shock as he uttered these words.

She had never heard them before!

Major David seemed to have come out of a trance after he spoke as he shook his head as if to dispel an influence, his face becoming apologetic.

“My apologies, these were just words passed down to me by my superior.

Nobody knows the extent of truth they hold.

Nobody knows what they could mean.

But…we know something is coming; we just do not know what.” His eyes were unfocused, as if he was thinking about too many things.

He sought to focus his gaze as he honed in on the Evolutius Beasts below and spoke once more.

“Over years of research, do you know what we have found out about the Evolutius Beasts?

The one thing we learned with surety…is their total lack of empathy towards anything else.

Some have structure, and some lead others.

But even a mother Wolf that just gave birth to a mutt in the Catacombs, could turn that same mutt into a meal that night if she didn’t find food.

Towards us- towards humans…they hold us in no regard.

They lack any sort of empathy as in their minds, there is even the drive to kill and kill relentlessly.

We do not know why.

But all of it has only made a single thing clear.

That in the end, it will either be us, or them.

There will be no coexistence.” …!

“This is why…the Lunaris Colony Overseers have begun designing secret programs to get us ready.

To prepare for what is to come.

Programs that recruit the future Legends of Ethemia and form groups that are above the influence of Organizations or Factions.

Advanced Humans working within the throngs of the Lunaris Colony Overseers but not influenced by the Colony Senate or Heads of State.

His body erupted with a silent burst of power as he said this, Eloise becoming silent beside him while Achilles and Rose looked at each other.

They did not know or want any of this.

They just wanted to safely be with each other.

You two…are each remarkable in your own ways, but I have yet to meet a Body Modification Advanced Human who could without breaking a sweat…defend against over a hundred Lesser Meridian Transformation Evolutius Beasts.

You are the perfect candidate, and I hope you give me a chance to show more of our Government than what you know of before you decide.

I know for a lot of people how dangerous the Colony Cities can be.

I know how the government may not necessarily make you feel safe- I know.

Even within the Lunaris Colony Overseers, we are hidden and stem from the most direct and powerful source…well, as far as a little guy like me knows.

But please, give it time.

The space around them began to buzz and tremble.

Down below, hundreds of Evolutius Beasts had charged in as it seemed utterly filled with maddened, roaring creatures.

“…it seems the fracture is about to occur.

Please, save as many people nearby as you can, and the rest will be taken care of.” The most dangerous part that Major David thought their whole lives would be in peril here…turned out to be the easiest.

Achilles’ capability could actually defend fully from a large number of Lesser Meridian Transformation Evolutius Beasts, and this made everything ridiculously straightforward!

But..once all these and even more spilled out into the Colony City.

Into swathes of people, vehicles, and buildings.

It would be utter chaos!

As their surroundings shook.

Achilles went towards Rose as he thought about everything that Major David had said.

His worries right now were singular, but those last words that some Transcendent Advanced Human uttered out continued to ring in his mind as he couldn’t seem to shake them off!

He did not like any of what they said as he still felt very weak in the face of things like that.

He didn’t feel secure!

He didn’t feel like Rose was protected enough.

So…he came before her and grasped her hands as… “Little Fatty?” Her heart sped up as she didn’t know what he was about to do in front of others.

But it was nothing too crazy as…brilliant light erupted from him, a thin layer of vines erupting out and beginning to cover the skin over Rose like a body suit!

She was shocked as she felt the vines as if they were a fabric, covering her skin entirely.

It spread over her hands and went toward her arms, and in her shock, she quickly remembered how Achilles had mentioned that even these Vines…were akin to an extension of his limbs.

His limbs.

Did his limbs not feel?

If he was intending to do what she believed, would these vines not cover every part of her body as he would be able to directly feel everything?!

Her face became entirely red at this point as she thought of what he would feel if he extended this vine body suit to truly cover everything!
