Chapter 281: Deepened Relationship, The Second Academy Trial
Stark and Lana ate dinner, and as soon as they were finished… well… they did the deed as Lana immediately pounced on the boy who just wanted to rest even though he had slept for 3 months, somehow still tired.
Lana at first wanted to lead and prove to Stark that she could make him feel good, but in the end the roles were totally reversed.
You cannot dominate a [Domination] user after all! Only another one can match with them!
So in the end, she was the one that ended up feeling the best from Stark’s… techniques?
He didn’t even restrain himself, because the moment she declared she was ready, then he abandoned all his restraints and went full on hard mode, going faster and faster with not a second to rest.
And so like this, they kept going for the entire night, Lana experiencing a feeling she had never felt before since it was both their first times.
She collapsed by the time the sun came up, and all Stark did was sigh as he looked at her stunning figure, now lying on the bed.
“…”
His body was filled with hickeys and kissing marks, but oh well, he couldn’t have expected Lana to like this so much when she was in ‘submissive’ mode.
“What the fuck am I even doing…”
Morning came, and Stark slept like a baby, waking up a few hours later and preparing breakfast.
Lana then woke up, remembered everything that happened last night, and her face flushed with embarrassment.
She couldn’t believe she had actually done it with Stark, and why the hell was he so good at it?
‘Maybe he… did it a lot before…?’ she thought to herself, but decided not to ask him as it would be embarrassing.
“Come on, eat,” Stark appeared out of nowhere suddenly, pointing at the toasts and eggs on the table, “Tomorrow is the big day.”
Yes, as stated before, tomorrow was the start of the second semester for the academy, meaning they would receive their second ‘trial’.
Oh; and by the way; his [Execution] of the guardian ape went viral all over the world, so pretty much everyone saw it.
But Stark didn’t care that much: he simply did it because he was forced to, anything else wouldn’t have even scratched the ape.
And so just like that, the day passed quickly.
They didn’t do anything that night though, Lana feeling a bit overwhelmed and Stark a bit tired, so they just slept in the same bed as a compromise.
When did they become so close? Even Stark didn’t know, but being… loved, didn’t feel that bad when he knew what was coming.
He needed to be as serious as ever before, but he also just made sure to enjoy it a bit, because at least now they couldn’t say he died a virgin!
He lived his life to the fullest, or at least he thought so!
…
Beep! Beep! Beep!
The alarm rang, and both Stark and Lana prepared, leaving their apartment complex and heading toward the academy.
Just like during their entrance ceremony though, the roads were COMPLETELY packed with people, making it impossible to take a ride as it would take too long, and so as Stark was way faster, he carried Lana and did the same thing as before: run through the roofs and jump into the academy from above.
It was currently 7:53 am, and the ‘second semester’ ceremony was happening at exactly 8 am.
There had actually been only 23 groups out of the 50 that completed their rift, meaning that even though 30 groups could have completed it, it hadn’t been the case at all.
Stark couldn’t imagine the amount of deaths, but oh well, he completed his rift alone, so who cares.

He and Lana entered the academy, arriving yet again in the lobby.
“Squares again,” the blonde-haired girl mumbled as she looked at the ground.
This time there were 3000 squares set up because, well, 30 groups could win with 100 classifiers per group, so the academy put them all even though they knew a situation where everyone survived is impossible.
7:57… 7:58… 7:59…
Everyone had arrived by now, and yet again Lana and Stark placed themselves in squares right beside one another.
These squares were also slightly bigger than the previous ones since they had more space thanks to the decrease in the amount of people.
And suddenly…
Fwish! Ding!
8:00 am!
The door of the academy closed in a thud, and all students who had survived and completed their respective rifts quieted down.
Stark just noticed it, but only some of the strongest-looking ones remained now, and all of them looked more serious than before, experiencing a rift at such a difficulty probably making them realize how bad this was.
And so…
BOOM!
An explosion happened on the stage at the very end of the room, and Theodore, as well as the teachers of the academy, appeared, a wide smile on his face and wearing his uniform.
“Did you all enjoy yourselves?” he asked while laughing, but no one answered, “Alright,” Theodore snapped his fingers, and the giant holographic screen that was so iconic appeared.
It was the thing that had explained the rules to them and showed constant images to make it clear what they needed to do.
[Students Who Pass to Second Stage… 1763 out of 5000!]
Of course, 23 groups surviving didn’t mean every member of the group survived, as there were bound to be some casualties.
[This is way more than the previous years, congratulations to this batch of students!]
Yet surprisingly, even though the number was already low, it seemed that was usually even lower!
“All thanks to you,” Lana smiled at Stark, and he found her adorable, though he quickly looked back at the screen.
[Here is the ‘Group Ranking’ for fastest rift completion!]
[Group 8, Leader: Stark Heartsouls]
[Group 13, Leader: Karl Spikeford]
[Group 27, Leaders: Punkz Brothers]
.
.
.
This kept going, showing all the groups, but Stark was actually surprised: the three punks that had tried to hit on Lana back at the stations were actually strong, managing to finish third.
Of course, they couldn’t compete with him though, no one could in this room, not even Sora now that he knew about what awaited him.
Soon enough, the ranking disappeared, the holographic screen displaying something else.
[Well, there isn’t anything to explain, is there? You all know how this work from now on, right?]
People nodded, knowing they still had two trials to go through before finishing the FIRST year of this academy, remember that there are two.
[Very well, then let us introduce the second trial, and oh boy I pray you all manage because it is much harder than the first!]
Some classifiers gulped as they saw and heard that, but the vast majority remained calm, neutral expressions on their faces as they fully expected it.
Stark was actually the only one smiling.
After all, he perfectly knew what this second trial would be: Sora had come to his apartment specially to tell him, and he also read about it in the [ApostleDex].
And it was…
[Second Trial: The Colosseum]
The image of a massive circular ancient-looking tower appeared, it was in the middle of the desert.
[The colosseum is not a rift, but a tower, the academy has found and taken this one for the sole purpose of giving it to their students for this year!]
It really seemed they went all in on this!
[Towers differ from rifts simply by the fact that instead of going from zone to zone to find the boss, you will need to go up from floor to floor, this tower having 10 floors!]
[This is an new group trial, by the way, meaning that all groups are disbanded!]
Theodore’s voice continued, “Now, I’m sure most of you are familiar with towers as some may have even entered some, but if you don’t know, each floor holds at least one elite THAT needs to be defeated to go to the next one, at floor 5 is a mini-boss, and at the tenth floor is the boss!”
Images appeared on the screen as Theodore spoke.
[Your objective is simple: reach floor 10 with your party and defeat the boss!]
[All those that do not defeat the boss of the tenth floor will be considered as expelled!]
In retrospective, this should be pretty damn easy, shouldn’t it, after all, they could just form massive teams and the weakest of the lot can follow the pack and climb up!
[The colosseum is, as stated in the name, a colosseum, meaning that there aren’t any monsters in the tower beside the elites, mini-boss and boss!]
Yes, this meant that the moment you entered, it was only strong monster after strong monster.
Floor 1 = Elite.
Floor 2-4 = Elite.
Floor 5 = Mini-Boss.
Floor 6-9 = Elite
Floor 10 = Boss
With nothing in between you and these monsters.
[Though note that after each monster is a safe-zone you can use to go back to the real world and rest, entering the colosseum again will resume you at the floor you were previously at!]
[You can form parties of up to three classifiers to aid you, which means the three of you will be alone to defeat all the monsters of the colosseum, so choose wisely!]
[The Colosseum is a level 200-250 tower!]
[This is all.]
This was all the information they would be getting, and it was a lot to process.
“Oh, and here,” Theodore snapped his fingers, and in every student’s hands appeared a small golden token, “Use this to enter and leave the colosseum whenever you feel like it!”
And so just like this, the principal and the teachers, as well as the holographic screen, disappeared, and the door of the academy opened.
This was a rather quick introduction to the second semester, almost seeming like the chairman really wanted to see them fight quickly, or that defeating all the elites would take a long time.
