Chapter 315: Instantly Challenging the Three Moons
“Just need to take the three of you down, don’t I?” Stark smiled as he moved forward, his steps calm and deliberate, as if the chaos erupting around him meant nothing.
The other participants were locked in place, wondering what the hell that kid doing.
But Stark ignored them, his gaze fixed solely on the trio of moons floating ominously in the crimson sky.
Each one of them pulsed with malevolent energy, their single pupils watching over the trial like gods observing the struggles of ants.
“What the hell is he doing?”
“Is he… trying to fight the moons?”
“Is he insane?”
Voices from the crowd of participants echoed around Stark, disbelief and confusion lacing their words.
They had all heard the announcement: the moons were level 600 entities, ranked “Immortal”.
To even think of challenging them was madness. And yet, Stark kept walking.
“Maybe he wants to get himself killed,” one participant scoffed, shaking his head.
“Better him than us. If he thinks he can take on that, let him try,” another muttered.
But none of them moved to stop him.
In the third Domination Trial, no one underestimated anyone.
They had seen too many people make that fatal mistake.
Every participant here had survived their own horrors, honed their powers, and sharpened their instincts to the point where overconfidence was deadly.
And yet, the sight of Stark’s calm march toward the moons left them all bewildered, uncertain if he was a fool or something far more dangerous.
Sora, too, watched in silent disbelief.
She had fought beside Stark through the second trial, witnessing his strength and power, but even she was unsure of what he was thinking now.
Taking on the moons was suicide—wasn’t it?
Stark, however, remained undeterred.
His eyes glowed with the same crimson energy that rippled through his body, intensifying with each step.
As he moved, the village square around him fell eerily quiet, as if the world itself was holding its breath.
“COME AT ME!” Stark roared, his voice cutting through the silence like a blade, his arm outstretched as he pointed directly at the [Crimson Moons Trio].
“He’s serious…”
“He’s calling them out?”
The moons themselves remained silent for a moment, their pupils locked onto Stark.
Then, a cold, mocking laughter filled the air, not from any of the participants, but from the moons themselves.
Their voices boomed across the battlefield, deep and cruel.
“Heh?”

“Is he… stupid?”
“Chosen really is dumb.”
The three moons spoke in unison, their voices dripping with amusement.
They didn’t have mouths, yet you could still hear them speak, kinda weird when you think about it, was it telepathy?
The moon in the center, its massive eye glowing with aura, addressed Stark, “You can try to reach us, if you want,” it said “Come on. Entertain us.”
And then, for a brief moment, everything froze in place.
The participants, the moons, even the air itself, seemed to be waiting for what Stark would do next.
Sora clenched her fists, feeling an overwhelming sense of dread, domination trials really pushed her to the limits of her ’emotionless’.
But Stark smiled—a slow, deliberate smile.
His aura surged, flaring brighter and fiercer until it completely enveloped his form, the crimson light burning so intensely that it distorted the air around him.
He looked up at the moons with unwavering resolve and whispered, “Fine.”
The air around Stark crackled with energy, and something shifted—a palpable tension building as if the world itself sensed what was about to happen.
Stark began to spread his arms wide, about to do something he had never done before.
Something so powerful, there was no saying if he could even handle it.
The clouds in the sky above began to churn, twisting and darkening, while a low, ominous hum filled the air.
Stark closed his eyes, feeling the immense power welling up inside him, and when he opened them again, his gaze was filled with something new—something otherworldly.
“???”
“What the hell…”
The moons could sense, and the participants too.
“HEAVEN’S SPEAR!”
…
[Skill: Crimson Spears]
[New Perk: Heaven’s Spear (Ultimate Form)]
[Description: Upon activation, a colossal rift tears open in the sky, revealing a towering angelic figure, nearly 50 kilometers in height, at the user’s command, the angel hurls the giant spear it summoned with such force that it rips through the atmosphere, and upon impact, the spear triggers a small city-level explosion.]
…
BOOOOOM!
A massive, deafening crack split the sky above the moons.
And a colossal rift tore open in the heavens, stretching miles across.
The world darkened, the crimson glow from the moons paling in comparison to the apocalyptic force now emerging from the tear.
“What the hell-”
“The fuck?”
The moons looked above themselves, surprised.
Unlucky for them, it was far from being over, actually, it was only the beginning.
From the rift, descended an enormous figure—an angelic being unlike anything anyone had ever seen.
Towering nearly fifty kilometers in height, its sheer size dwarfed the moons themselves.
Its body was cloaked in shimmering, ethereal light, its six vast wings stretching wide as if to embrace the entire sky.
A celestial halo burned above its head, casting a blinding radiance across the landscape, making even the most powerful participants squint in its presence.
The angel’s gaze was cold and impassive, but its presence was suffocating, it’s very being an embodiment of divine wrath.
The moons, which had once laughed mockingly, now trembled under the weight of its gaze.
They shivered, for the first time, showing a flicker of fear.
For the very first time, they were scared of something other than the [Godless Demon].
And then, with a slow, deliberate motion, the angel raised its hand, summoning forth an immense spear of pure crimson energy.
The spear materialized out of nothing, its shaft glowing with an unholy light.
[I will send it upon your command, master.]
The angel of the spear spoke through a panel as it hovered above the moons, its cold eyes locked onto its targets.
Stark stood below, his aura blazing as he whispered, “Angel of the Spear… tear them apart.”
[Very well.]
FWISH!
Without hesitation, the angel hurled the colossal spear downward, and the world seemed to hold its breath.
The spear shot through the sky with terrifying speed, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake, tearing apart the atmosphere as it descended.
Its power was incomprehensible, and the sheer force of its descent caused shockwaves to ripple outward, knocking some participants off their feet.
After all, this is the perk of a skill only supposed to be used by a classifier at level 900-1000, something someone at Stark’s level shouldn’t have.
The spear struck the middle moon with a deafening BOOM!
For a split second, the world went silent, as if time itself had frozen.
And then, the moon exploded. Not just shattered—obliterated.
The crimson sky above seemed to tear apart as the moon disintegrated into nothingness.
The participants could barely stand, shielding their eyes from the blinding light and the aftermath of the attack.
When the dust finally settled, the middle moon was gone.
Completely annihilated. Not a trace of its once-mocking presence remained in the sky.
The remaining two moons trembled, their massive pupils now wide with terror.
They had just witnessed a power far beyond anything they had ever anticipated.
“WHAT THE FUCK?!”
“THIS IS- WHAT?”
[One of the three moons has been slain.]
[Kill one more, and the last one will reveal its true form, thus the real fight will begin.]
Stark, standing in the aftermath of the destruction, his aura still blazing, looked up at the two remaining moons with a cold, unyielding gaze.
He raised his hand again, as if daring them to stay.
“Come at me,” Stark said, his voice calm and resolute.
Of course, he couldn’t do that again until a while, but it was just a threat.
For a moment, the moons were silent, their massive pupils locked onto Stark.
And then, without warning, they vanished, disappearing from the sky as quickly as they had come.
“FUCK THAT SHIT!” one of the moons’ voices echoed in the distance, their confidence completely gone.
“HELL NO, HUMAN! KILL EACH OTHER!”
The moons fled, their laughter gone, replaced by sheer panic.
The battlefield was left in stunned silence.
The other participants, who had been watching from a distance, stood frozen, their minds struggling to comprehend what they had just witnessed.
Even Sora, who had fought alongside Stark through thick and thin, was left speechless.
“He… destroyed it…” someone muttered in disbelief.
“One of the moons… gone, just like that…”
Stark stood in the middle of the square, his aura slowly dimming, but his presence was still overwhelming.
He had just done the impossible—obliterated a moon with a power so immense it defied logic.
And now, with only two moons left and the path to the Moon Tower clearer than ever, Stark turned his gaze toward the distant tower, his eyes filled with determination.
‘Based on everything I know about the trials… then only killing the participants won’t be enough.’
He was confident, at 1000%, that even when you were the only survivor and reached the moon tower inside of the ‘Termina’ city.
Even after going through the trouble of killing humans and monsters alike, you would go up the tower, and, oh, surprise, there is a boss.
Actually, Stark was half confident that the big boss was the [Crimson Moons Trio], or more like [Crimson Moons Duo] now.
They wouldn’t let anyone survive this easily, and otherwise why would it be a [Death] difficulty trial?
Well anyway.
The trial was far from over.
But after what the participants had just witnessed, they knew one thing for certain:
Stark was not someone to be underestimated.
