Chapter 383: The Domination Association’s Goal, Request from the Commanders
Stark leaned back in the chair they had forced him into, his wrists bound tightly in the Domination Handcuffs.
The cold metallic restraints drained his aura, suppressing every ounce of his power.
Yet, even in this vulnerable state, Stark’s smirk lingered, a deliberate thorn in the sides of the commanders seated before him.
“You seem awfully confident for someone who’s powerless,” the glasses-wearing commander said, his voice calm but laced with irritation.
Stark tilted his head. “Powerless? You mean restrained. There’s a difference.”
The atmosphere in the room was tense.
The five commanders of the Domination Association, seated at their circular table, exchanged glances.
Each of them exuded authority and overwhelming presence, but none had yet dared to approach Stark directly.
“Let’s not waste time,” said the leader who had first spoken, his deep voice cutting through the room.
He gestured to the holographic screen behind him, where footage of the Immortal Trial replayed on loop.
“You understand the situation, don’t you, Stark? The trial was broadcast to the entire world. That wasn’t supposed to happen.”
Stark raised an eyebrow. “Not my problem.”
“Not yet,” the woman among them said sharply. “But it will be.”
[So your big secret’s out. Boo-hoo.]
The sarcastic thought flickered in Stark’s mind, and although the commanders couldn’t hear it, his expression conveyed the sentiment perfectly.
“And now, there’s more,” the glasses-wearing commander continued.
He tapped a button on the console in front of him, and the screen behind him shifted.
The room fell silent as the image of a massive, grotesque creature appeared.
Its body was twisted, an amalgamation of flesh and shadow.
Its eyes burned with an unnatural light, and its aura was so dense that even through the screen, it seemed to suffocate the air.
“This is what’s left of the participants who died in the trial,” the glasses-wearing commander said grimly.
Stark’s smirk faltered slightly.
Of course, he already knew about this because it had made the news during his first trial: all the participants that died transformed into Calamity-Level monsters.
The second trial didn’t make the news though, maybe the [Domination Association] were able to kill them all before they reached the cities.
And for the third…
“Every single one of them,” the commander continued, “has transformed into one of these… abominations. Our radar detected them to be Immortal-Level monsters at least.”
The screen shifted again, showing one of the creatures tearing through a group of classifiers.
Despite their best efforts, the classifiers’ attacks were useless.
The creature absorbed their blows and retaliated with devastating force, leaving nothing but destruction in its wake.
Stark’s gaze sharpened. “How strong are they?”

Every one of these monsters was one of the participant that died during the trial.
And Stark perfectly remembered that when Orasio, the shield domination user, transformed, his transformation kept the same powers as his class, meaning a shield.
“Each one of these monsters has the aura equivalent to a level 150 Domination user or a level 800 monster,” another commander said, his tone grave. “We’ve already lost multiple Domination users trying to contain them. They’re unlike anything we’ve faced before.”
[Level 150? That’s insane.]
Stark’s mind raced, calculating the implications.
Level 150 Domination users were incredibly powerful, above Stark himself in terms of strength.
Remember Clever, the old man with his [100-Golden Arms Statue]? Well, he had only died because of the sheer power of [Heaven’s Spear].
Otherwise, he would have destroyed Stark, and dominated the entire trial actually if it wasn’t for the Tormented One.
And now you’re saying that he was transformed into a monster that had the same powers as he did?
Plus, don’t forget the 10 others that were also there, their powers also enhanced by their transformations.
To have an army of monsters at that level was a nightmare scenario
“And let me guess,” Stark said, his smirk returning. “You brought me here because you think I can clean up your mess.”
The commanders exchanged glances again, their silence confirming Stark’s suspicion.
“We didn’t bring you here for that, we’re strong enough to handle it,” the woman said coldly. “We brought you here because we needed to control you. But now, it seems we’ll all have to fight.”
A loud chime interrupted their conversation.
The holographic screen flickered, and a new message appeared.
[Alert: Immortal-Level Monsters detected across several countries!]
[Number of threats: 11]
[Source: Death-Level Domination’s Trial Participants]
[Presence of all commanders required immediately!]
The room was plunged into silence as the weight of the message settled over them.
The woman stood abruptly. “We need to get this done quickly.”
“And more of our people are dying,” another commander, one that never spoke until now, added. His calm demeanor cracked slightly, a flicker of urgency in his voice.
The only people who could handle them were the commanders, as they were the strongest, each above level 150 and having completed their third trial.
“Looks like you’re in trouble,” Stark said, feigning indifference. “Better get out there before your precious organization collapses.”
“You’re coming with us,” the lead commander said, getting up from his chair.
“Wait!” the man wearing glasses stopped them, “I got something perfect for this occasion, sit back on your seats please!”
“Why?”
“Introductions!”
“Introductions at a time like this?” one of the two girl commanders sighed.
“He needs to know who we are, after all,” he grinned.
The other girl groaned loudly. “Three minutes. That’s all you get, Ed.” She dropped back into her chair with an audible thump.
“Three minutes? I only need two!” Ed grinned, tapping at the console in front of him.
Screens descended from the ceiling, lining up behind each of the seated commanders. As they clicked into place, the circular table began to rotate.
Stark, who was bound to a chair that was a bit far from the circular table in the center, could only watch.
[This is stupid.]
“Yes.”
He was answering his own classes’ thoughts, was he going crazy?
“Let’s get started!” the man announced, tapping another button and setting the table spinning to its next stop.
[Domination Association Introductions!]
The holographic text projected beside the first commander glimmered faintly, spelling out a name that Stark had already partially guessed as he heard it when blindfolded.
[Commander #1: Alexis]
The table rotated to the tanned blond-haired man.
Tattoos spiraled down his arms, peeking out from beneath his tank top. Despite his casual attire, Alexis exuded a quiet intensity.
[Domination Power: Bullet Fists]
“Pleasure’s all mine, champ,” Alexis said with a lazy smirk.
He cracked his knuckles, and faint sparks of aura energy pulsed along his fists. “If it were up to me, we’d skip the show and go straight to seeing how long you’d last against these.”
[This guy’s all bark.]
“Next!” the glasses-wearing man chirped, hitting the button again before Stark could respond.
…
After the table spun for a few seconds, it stopped, revealing a slender, orange-haired woman in a flowing pink dress.
[Commander #2: Tia]
Beside her chair rested a massive hammer, nearly as tall as she was.
[Domination Power: Hammer of Elements]
“Do we really have to do this?” Tia complained, resting her chin on her palm.
Her sharp, aggressive tone completely clashed with her refined appearance. “We’ve got bigger problems than babysitting a kid.”
“Relax, Tia,” the man chimed in. “This is important!”
Stark tilted his head.
“[Cute dress. You always bring a hammer to tea parties?]”
Her eyes narrowed dangerously. “Say that again, and I’ll show you why this hammer’s famous.”
[Sheesh, sensitive.]
…
The table rotated once more.
[Commander #3: Unity]
Stark found himself staring at a white-haired woman with a sleek bob cut.
Her hazel eyes were sharp, and her futuristic outfit shimmered faintly under the room’s lighting.
[Domination Power: Mega Static]
From her ears protruded two small USB-like ports, faintly glowing.
Stark blinked at the odd detail but chose to keep his thoughts to himself.
“Behave yourself,” Unity said, her tone icy. “We don’t have time for your antics.”
“Antics? I’m literally tied up,” Stark replied, gesturing with his bound wrists. “What do you think I’m going to do? Escape mid-introduction?”
Unity’s gaze didn’t waver. “I’d put money on it.”
…
[Commander #4: Ed]
Finally, the table stopped in front of Ed himself.
He was practically bouncing in his seat, his green shirt and pants giving him a carefree, quirky vibe.
His grin widened as the holographic text beside him displayed his information.
[Domination Power: Domi-Mechanician]
“And here I am, the genius who makes it all work!” Ed announced, spreading his arms theatrically. “Anything mechanical? I can dominate it. Drones, mechas, weapons, you name it, I build it!”
“Keep going,” the lead commander said, clearly losing patience.
…
[Commander #5: Oliver]
The table made one final rotation, stopping before the towering figure of the lead commander.
Oliver stood as the holographic screen displayed his name and power.
Dark-skinned and built like a fortress, Oliver’s presence alone seemed to command respect.
His muscles rippled beneath his bare chest, and he radiated an aura of raw strength.
[Domination Power: Universal Strength]
“Stark,” Oliver said, his voice steady. “I’ll keep this simple. You’re no ordinary domination user. And whether you like it or not, you’ll be fighting alongside us. Understand?”
Stark didn’t respond immediately. His gaze flicked to the hologram, then back to Oliver.
[This guy’s not messing around.]
As the table clicked back into place, the holographic screens faded, and Ed clapped his hands together.
“See? That wasn’t so bad!”
“Can we focus now?” Unity snapped, her USB-like ports sparking faintly. “We’re wasting time!”
The holographic screen behind them suddenly flickered, drawing everyone’s attention.
It displayed live footage from another city under siege.
A massive creature, its body an unholy amalgamation of flesh and shadow was fighting a bunch of classifiers.
“That’s Claire, Domination Power: Monster,” Ed informed.
“One of the trial participants who didn’t survive,” Oliver said grimly. “Their transformation’s power is tied to their class, amplified to Immortal-Level monsters.”
[We already know, dumbass.]
The screen shifted to another city, where yet another monstrosity wreaked havoc.
Then another.
[Alert: Immortal-Level Monsters converging on cities.]
“We’re out of time,” Oliver said, rising to his feet. “Ed, I’ll take Stark, each of you focus on the monsters you want.”
