Chapter 410: Chapter410-Suppression
John could easily guess what was going through the Eagle Tribe chief’s mind.
He smiled slightly but said nothing, simply nodding in acknowledgment.
Some things didn’t need to be spoken aloud—a single glance was enough.
What the chief chose to think afterward was no longer John’s concern.
The Zebra Tribe chief had a nagging feeling that things weren’t quite as he had imagined, but seeing how calm and composed John remained, he had no choice but to suppress his doubts.
After all, the high priest had told them that as long as they could resolve the situation, any means were acceptable.
Their tribe was determined to become the most powerful on this continent.
“Alright, there are still some things I need to discuss with my warriors. You can go prepare. We’ll meet at the entrance later,” John said.
Now that he finally had all his teammates together, it was time to regroup and have a proper discussion.
The Eagle Tribe chief, aware that they likely had private matters to discuss, left without hesitation.
Once outside, under the sun, he instinctively clenched his fists.
He could feel a powerful force surging within him, as if it was ready to explode at any moment.
This strength was entirely new to him, something he had never experienced before.
It felt as though a new world had been opened up to him, and he found himself desiring more of this power.
He turned back to look at the building behind him, his eyes filled with ambition.
If this cooperation could truly work, did it not mean that there was potential for an alliance between him and this person?
All he needed was power—unlimited power that could crush others beneath his feet!
The reason for his previous failure was largely due to his lack of such strength.
If he had it, everything would be different.
His tribe would become the most powerful in the world!
It was unfortunate that this man was not part of his tribe; otherwise, he would have found a way to seize control of such power.
Once the members of the Eagle Tribe had left, John turned to the Zebra Tribe chief and smiled slightly.
“I have a few things to take care of. Why don’t you go and see if their people are willing to cooperate? If they’re not, just isolate them.”
The Zebra Tribe chief was taken aback by John’s words.
“Weren’t you just saying that you trusted them and that we could cooperate? Why suddenly isolate them?”
John chuckled, explaining that while cooperation was one thing, trust was another.
The Zebra Tribe chief was still somewhat puzzled but decided to follow John’s instructions and left the room.
Once it was just them, John’s group finally relaxed a bit.
Silver Tear plopped down in a chair, looking at her current body with a mix of despair and relief.
“Thank goodness you guys came. I had no idea what I was going to do if you hadn’t shown up. You wouldn’t believe it—I’ve been living in a pigsty, eating the same food as the pigs. I was going crazy, but thankfully you arrived.”

Victor, standing nearby, wore a similarly troubled expression.
It was clear that their experiences had been beyond miserable, leaving them both with much they couldn’t even put into words.
Dark Fox wiped his face, wanting to speak but ultimately holding back.
He really didn’t feel like talking right now—his voice just felt too out of place.
Every time he spoke, it felt jarring because, while the voice was pleasant, it didn’t match the face he was wearing.
“We’re all in this secret realm now, which means Vulture’s likely here too. We don’t know the specifics yet, but when we head to the Panther Tribe, you all need to be careful,” John said, keeping it brief.
He knew there would be dangers ahead, but they had no choice.
They had to be cautious of whoever was pulling the strings behind the scenes.
This secret realm was strange indeed.
They had all ended up in different bodies, yet John had somehow retained his own.
Why was that?
“I have a theory,” Vincent said after a moment of thought.
“Among all of us, John has the lowest level, only platinum-tier, while each of us is stronger than that.”
“I’ve also noticed that the distribution of power in our new bodies seems to reflect our original levels. Silver Tear and Dark Fox are only slightly less powerful than John—doesn’t that suggest they were only slightly above him outside this realm?”
“Victor and I, on the other hand, have been suppressed more severely. I’m the worst off—if I convert it, I’m only at silver-tier strength right now.”
The group exchanged glances, beginning to understand what Vincent was getting at.
It seemed that the platinum-tier level was a threshold—those above it were suppressed, while those below it faced an uncertain situation.
Could it be that those below the threshold might even be enhanced? This possibility intrigued them.
“If your theory holds, then Vulture might not fare so well here,” someone remarked.
Vulture, being a cataclysmic-tier awakener, would likely be suppressed to gold-tier strength, possibly even lower than John’s current tier.
Moreover, if Vulture’s situation mirrored theirs, he too would be inhabiting a body within one of the tribes, facing the same limitations.
Unlike John, who retained his own body and abilities, the rest of them had been weakened to varying degrees.
Considering this, they realized they might not have as much to fear.
“So, we might actually have an advantage,” Silver Tear mused, her expression thoughtful.
“If it comes down to it, they might not be able to beat us.”
However, just as they began to feel a bit more confident, John shook his head.
“This continent has been in a balance of power among three tribes for a long time. The Zebra Tribe manages to survive because they draw their inscription power from the sun. The Eagle Tribe’s power comes from the forest.”
“As for the Panther Tribe, I’m not entirely sure of their situation yet, but they must have some significant strength to maintain this balance for so long,” John continued.
“Anyone who can survive in this primitive land isn’t to be underestimated.”
He paused, seeming a bit hesitant before adding, “And I suspect that only by enduring and winning this tribal war will we have a chance to leave this place.”
John knew exactly how they might escape, but this was something he couldn’t share with the others just yet.
The group exchanged glances, each seeing a determined resolve in the others’ eyes.
“No matter what, let’s win this battle first!” one of them declared.
The group nodded in agreement and went off to make their preparations.
Once all the warriors were gathered, they stood at the entrance, ready to move.
This time, they split into two groups without hesitation.
The Eagle Tribe chief had initially thought that John would send someone to accompany him, but he was surprised when John assigned Vincent, with his muscular build, and his own daughter to go with him instead.
Upon seeing his daughter, the chief’s expression softened noticeably, but when he looked at Vincent, anger flashed in his eyes.
What was John thinking? Sending such a seemingly weak person to oversee him—did John not take him seriously? Did he not respect his authority?
