Chapter 141: The Song Clan Arrives
“The God Plane”
Fang Hua, her eyes shining with intrigue, gazed at Lucifer. “The God Plane sounds truly magnificent,” she commented, eager to grasp every aspect of its wonder.
Lucifer smiled, his eyes gleaming with ancient wisdom. “Ah, the God Plane indeed holds wonders beyond mortal comprehension. But tread carefully, for its magnificence is matched only by its mysteries and dangers.”
Eagerly, Fang Hua leaned forward, her eyes alight with curiosity, fixated on Lucifer. “Tell me more, everything about that place,” she implored, her voice tinged with excitement. Her eagerness was palpable, a hunger for knowledge driving her to learn every detail. Fang Hua’s thirst for understanding was insatiable, and she awaited Lucifer’s words with rapt attention, ready to absorb every morsel of information about the enigmatic realm known as the God Plane. In her mind, visions of grandeur and mystery danced, as she longed to immerse herself in the secrets of this extraordinary place, eager to unlock its hidden wonders and unravel its mysteries.
Lucifer observed Fang Hua’s swift transition from annoyance to intense curiosity with a slight shake of his head. “Sorry to burst your bubble, but as intriguing and magnificent as that place may sound, it’s not suited for a cultivator like you,” he remarked, his tone tinged with a hint of regret. “Besides, it’s aptly named—the beings there may be deemed as gods, but to me, they’re nothing more than mere children,” Lucifer added, unwittingly revealing more than he intended.
His words hung in the air, carrying an air of solemnity and wisdom. Fang Hua’s expression shifted once again, this time a mixture of surprise and disappointment. The revelation stirred a flurry of questions in her mind, prompting her to ponder the true nature of the God Plane and its inhabitants.
As Lucifer realized his slip of tongue, he inwardly cursed his indiscretion. Yet, despite his unintended disclosure, there was an air of enigma surrounding him, as if he held secrets beyond mortal comprehension. Fang Hua’s thirst for knowledge only seemed to intensify, her determination to uncover the mysteries of the God Plane unyielding. With a newfound sense of purpose, she awaited Lucifer’s next words, eager to glean whatever insights he would offer.
Before Fang Hua could inquire further and ask Tang Luo (Lucifer) to elaborate on his statement regarding the gods being mere children to him, their conversation was interrupted by the arrival of someone with urgent news, sprinting into the room.
The sudden interruption caught both Fang Hua and Lucifer off guard, momentarily diverting their attention from their previous discussion. Fang Hua’s curiosity remained unfulfilled as she turned her focus to the newcomer, her mind now preoccupied with the impending news.
With a sense of anticipation and curiosity lingering in the air, Fang Hua and Lucifer exchanged a brief glance, silently acknowledging the interruption. Whatever news had prompted such urgency would undoubtedly impact their conversation, leaving Fang Hua with lingering questions and a newfound eagerness to uncover the truth.
“The Song Clan is here,” gasped the guard, his breath ragged from his sprint. “They’re demanding justice for the death of their heir, Song Jing. They’re not interested in talking—they want blood.”
His words hung heavily in the air, the urgency of the situation evident in his tone. Fang Hua’s heart quickened as she processed the gravity of the news. The arrival of the Song Clan spelled trouble, their demand for retribution leaving no room for negotiation.
Fang Hua exchanged a worried glance with those around her, realizing the severity of the situation. The air was thick with tension as everyone braced themselves for what would come next. The demand for justice loomed over them like a dark cloud, casting a shadow of uncertainty over their future.
“I was wondering when those people from the Song Clan would arrive, I thought they did not care for the brat I killed” said Lucifer (Tang Luo) with no sign of anxiety and nervousness, he is completely calm which surprised Fang Hua greatly as he was the cause of everything.
He killed Song Jing, so he is the Song Clan’s main target and yet he was not fearful but instead was even anticipating their arrival, just who is this boy in front of her.
“I was wondering when those people from the Song Clan would arrive,” remarked Lucifer, his voice devoid of anxiety or nervousness. His calm demeanor surprised Fang Hua, considering he was the cause of everything. He had killed Song Jing, making himself the primary target of the Song Clan’s vengeance. Yet, instead of fear, he seemed almost anticipatory of their arrival. Fang Hua couldn’t help but wonder about the true nature of the boy standing before her.
Lucifer’s nonchalant attitude contrasted sharply with the tension that hung in the air. Fang Hua observed him closely, trying to decipher the enigma that he presented. His calmness in the face of danger intrigued her, leaving her with a mixture of curiosity and apprehension.
Despite her unease about the situation at hand, Fang Hua couldn’t help but feel a sense of admiration for Lucifer’s composure. His ability to remain unfazed in the face of imminent danger spoke volumes about his character. It was clear that there was more to him than met the eye, and Fang Hua was determined to uncover the truth.
As they awaited the arrival of the Song Clan, Fang Hua braced herself for the inevitable confrontation. With each passing moment, her curiosity about Lucifer only grew stronger. Who was this boy who faced his enemies with such calm resolve? And what secrets lay hidden behind his seemingly ordinary facade?
As Fang Hua pondered the enigmatic nature of Lucifer, the tension in the room escalated with the arrival of the Song Clan’s delegation. Led by an imposing figure clad in traditional garb, they exuded an aura of righteous fury, their eyes ablaze with the desire for vengeance.
Lucifer’s demeanor remained unchanged as the leader of the Song Clan stepped forward, his gaze cold and unwavering. “Tang Luo,” he began, his voice a low growl, “you have caused great sorrow to our clan by slaying our heir. You will pay with your life.”
Despite the gravity of the situation, Lucifer remained unfazed, his expression stoic as he met the leader’s gaze head-on. “I have no regrets for what I have done,” he replied calmly. “Song Jing brought his fate upon himself.”
The tension in the air was palpable as the two adversaries locked eyes, each refusing to back down. Fang Hua watched on with bated breath, her heart pounding with apprehension.
