I'm The Devil - Chapter 142
Chapter 142: I’m The Devil
“I like your bravado, boy, I truly do,” said the member of the Song Clan, who also served as their leader. “But I must warn you, you cannot face the entire Song Clan unless you have a death wish.”
Lucifer struggled to contain his amusement, feeling an urge to burst into laughter. It seemed that the time had come to shed the persona of Tang Luo; it had become tiresome, and he had already achieved his objectives. There was no longer any need to maintain the facade and hide his true identity from these people.
With a subtle shift of his expression, Lucifer’s features contorted, morphing into their true form. His eyes, once calm and human, now glowed with an otherworldly intensity, while his skin took on a subtle hue of darkness that seemed to radiate power. As the illusion of Tang Luo dissolved, his true form emerged—a being of celestial beauty and majesty.
A faint aura of darkness enveloped Lucifer as he shed the last remnants of his disguise, his presence commanding attention and respect. Fang Hua and the members of the Song Clan gasped in astonishment as they beheld the transformation before them, realizing the true nature of the being they had been dealing with.
Stammering, the leader took a step back, his voice trembling with fear. “Who…who are you?” he managed to utter, his eyes wide with shock. This was not what he had signed up for. The sudden revelation of Lucifer’s true identity had caught him off guard, and he found himself grappling with a sense of dread unlike anything he had ever experienced before.
“it’s a bit late for that now, don’t you think?” Lucifer’s voice echoed through the room dripping with malice. “You come waltzing in here like you own the place, disrespecting the power of the Wearora Sect. And to top it off, you demand justice for the death of your hair without even considering reasons. Well, I’ve had enough of listening to reason. What I want now is your blood.”
His sinister grin widened as he spoke, his hands opening wide in a menacing gesture. Fang Hua and the members of the Song Clan exchanged nervous glances, realizing the gravity of the situation. The Song Clan had underestimated the power of the being they were dealing with, and now they found themselves facing the wrath of the Devil.
The members of the Song Clan exchanged anxious glances, their uncertainty palpable as they stood facing the mysterious figure before them. Each one gulped hard, their throats dry with fear, unsure of what to do next. The voice of the strange man echoed in their ears, urging them to act swiftly, warning that it could be their last chance to make a move.
Their leader, though shaken, rallied his comrades with a nod of determination. With a collective intake of breath, they steeled themselves for the impending confrontation. As one, they surged forward, weapons drawn and resolve burning bright in their eyes.
But before they could reach their adversary, Lucifer raised a hand, his expression calm yet menacing. With a flick of his wrist, he unleashed a wave of dark energy that swept through the ranks of the Song Clan, rendering them powerless in its wake.
As the members of the Song Clan fell to the ground, defeated and demoralized, Lucifer’s voice cut through the silence like a blade. “You have chosen your fate,” he intoned, his words carrying a weight of finality. “And now you must face the consequences.”
Lucifer’s gaze settled on the final member of the Song Clan, whom he had deliberately spared to deliver a message to their clan leader. With a smirk, he addressed the lone survivor.
“You tell your Clan Head,” Lucifer began, his voice carrying a sinister edge, “that today marks the end of the entire Song Clan.”
Turning to Fang Hua, his expression softened momentarily, but his resolve remained unyielding. She looked at him with a mixture of confusion and curiosity, silently urging him to explain himself.
With a sigh, Lucifer turned back to the Song Clan member, his eyes flashing with determination. “Make sure they understand,” he continued, his tone unwavering. “There will be no mercy for those who oppose me.”
As the message sank in, the Song Clan member nodded reluctantly, realizing the gravity of the situation. With a heavy heart, they turned to leave, knowing that their clan’s fate now rested in the hands of their formidable adversary.
Fang Hua watched in silence as the survivor disappeared into the distance, a sense of foreboding settling over her. She knew that Lucifer’s words carried weight, and that the days ahead would be filled with uncertainty and danger.
Turning to Lucifer, she spoke softly, her voice tinged with concern. “Who are you?” she asked, her eyes searching his for answers.
Wang Min’s voice cut through the tense atmosphere, startling both Lucifer and Fang Hua as they turned to face the newcomer. He approached them with a mixture of awe and trepidation evident in his expression.”He is the Devil, Lucifer Morningstar,” Wang Min declared, his voice tinged with reverence. “The First Son of the one True God. He is something that our tiny brains cannot comprehend.”Lucifer regarded Wang Min with a hint of amusement, his demeanor relaxed despite the gravity of the situation. Fang Hua, too, couldn’t help but feel a sense of relief that Wang Min had chosen not to oppose Lucifer.
Fang Hua sought confirmation from Lucifer, wanting to hear the truth from him directly. Lucifer met her gaze and smiled, speaking gently, “I’m the Devil, love. You may not understand now, but soon you will. But for now, there are matters I must attend to.” With those words, Lucifer left Fang Hua with a sense of intrigue and uncertainty, wondering what lay ahead on their journey together.
“Where is he going?” Fang Hua asked Wang Min.
Wang Min looked at the departing figure of Lucifer and sighed, “of my guess is right, then he is going to exterminate the Song Clan”
