“By ancient power, you meant Lucifer, correct?” Lilith ask with a smile on her face, “if you want to lie to me, at least make it believable”

Adamaltheia watched Lilith’s retreating figure with a mixture of curiosity and concern. She couldn’t shake the feeling that Lilith’s arrival heralded something significant, something that could potentially disrupt the delicate balance of their realm. However, dwelling on such thoughts would only lead to unnecessary worry, so Adamaltheia refocused her attention on her duties.

Aphrodite, Amaterasu, Bast and Hestia were all seated in the main hall of the Devil’s Peak as they contemplated on the latest news in the entire God Plane.

“I thought you were the first wife, did not know that wasn’t the case” said Bast as she looked at Aphrodite causing all the other girls to also look at her while nodding their heads in agreement.

Aphrodite sighed and shook her head, “that’s not truth, I always knew that I was not the first wife but I never thought that she would cause such drama while revealing who she is” Aphrodite said.

“Oh, you knew who she is all along and yet you did not say anything” said Amaterasu as she glanced at Aphrodite with a frown.

“How would I know? Even Lucifer did not know anything about his first wife, he only knew that he has a first wife, that’s all” Aphrodite said.

Aphrodite’s admission hung in the air, casting a pall over the room. The wives of Lucifer exchanged uneasy glances, grappling with the implications of her revelation.

Bast furrowed her brow, her expression a mix of confusion and concern. “If Lucifer himself was unaware of his first wife’s identity, then how did she suddenly appear out of nowhere?”

Aphrodite shrugged helplessly, her demeanor reflective of her uncertainty. “I wish I had answers, but Lilith’s arrival has left us all in the dark. All I know is that she seems determined to make her presence known, regardless of the consequences.”

Aphrodite nodded in agreement, grateful for Hestia’s calming influence. “You’re right, Hestia. We shouldn’t rush to judgment. It’s possible that Lilith has her own reasons for seeking out Lucifer, and we owe it to ourselves to hear her out.”

Bast crossed her arms over her chest, her expression guarded. “But what if her intentions are malevolent? We can’t risk putting ourselves in harm’s way for the sake of diplomacy.”

Amaterasu nodded in reluctant agreement, her gaze troubled. “We must proceed with caution. While I don’t advocate for hostility, we must prioritize our safety above all else.”

“There is one more thing, where is Lucifer? He has been out of reach for far too long, we have to go look for him” said Hestia as she was clearly worried about the safety of Lucifer.

“Don’t worry about that man, he is beyond our comprehension, we should just be contended with the title as his wife, there are certain things that we should not think about, for all we know, he might be doing something for his father or looking for what or who killed him so that he would never succumb to something like that again” said Aphrodite as she decided to call it a day after sge said that.
