Chapter 153: Adamaltheia And Wang Min

With a sharp nod, Feng Huang eyed Wang Min with a challenging glare. “What do you want?” she demanded, her tone sharp and dismissive.

Wang Min hesitated, taken aback by Feng Huang’s hostility. “I… I just wanted to talk to Lilith,” he stammered, trying to maintain his composure in the face of her aggression.

Feng Huang crossed her arms, her expression unyielding. “Well, she’s not here,” she snapped, her impatience evident.

Feeling rebuffed, Wang Min nodded curtly and turned to leave, his frustration simmering beneath the surface. He knew that dealing with Lilith would be challenging enough without Feng Huang’s antagonism adding to the mix.

Wang Min couldn’t help but feel a twinge of frustration as he left Lilith’s chambers. The intensity of the women surrounding Lucifer was palpable, and it left him wondering how he would ever navigate their complex dynamics.

As he walked through the corridors of the Island of Crete, Wang Min replayed the encounter in his mind. Feng Huang’s unwavering hostility had caught him off guard, and he couldn’t shake the feeling of being unwelcome in Lilith’s domain.

Despite his attempts to maintain a polite demeanor, Wang Min couldn’t help but feel a sense of unease. It seemed that wherever Lucifer’s companions were involved, tensions ran high and emotions ran deep.

After a few minutes, Wang Min returned to the group who were eagerly waiting for him to arrive and share what had happened.

“Nothing much happened, Lilith is still as defiant and prideful as ever. But that’s not going to stop me from pursuing her. I have to say, Lilith is on a whole other level when it comes to pride,” Wang Min said as he looked at Lucifer who only scratched his head.

Lucifer didn’t pay much attention to Wang Min’s comment as he knew he was only joking. He was aware that no matter how prideful Lilith was, she was nothing compared to him. However, he realized that he needed to let go of his pride if he wanted his relationship with Lilith to work out. He knew that two blind men could not lead the way.

“Let’s put Lilith aside for now. She will eventually come around. She’s just behaving like a child. So, you all can go do whatever you want. I will go and do my things, like visiting someone before I get kidnapped by a certain someone,” said Lucifer as he looked at Exousia, who avoided his gaze.

“You are right, I have to get back to my daughter whom I have not met in a long time,” said Exousia as she immediately ran out of the room and made her way to the Pangu Realm where her daughter currently resides.

Lucifer just chuckled and got up while looking at Fang Hua, “Do you perhaps want to join me? I can show you around the Greco Realm and beyond when I’m done here, what do you say?” Lucifer asked her waiting for her response.

Fang Hua shook her head as she had something else to take care of on the Island, “maybe some other time, I have something to attend to on the Island, you can continue without me” she said.

Lucifer nodded and gave Adamaltheia a knowing look before he disappeared from there.

“So what do you have to do that’s so important for you to reject Lucifer’s offer?” Wang Min asked her with a smirk on his face.

“None of your business, and don’t follow me around, you can do whatever you want, you can explore the realm as you see fit”

With that, Fang Hua also left leaving Wang Min and Adamaltheia alone.

Wang Min smirked as he watched Fang Hua walk away before turning to look at Adamaltheia, “I thought you were a cow” he said causing Adamaltheia to turn in his direction with a frown.

“Where did you get that from?” Adamaltheia asked him, she wasn’t that offended that she was mistaken for a cow as it is not an odd thing for beings like them, what she wanted to know was how she was mistaken for a cow by a.

She wondered who could have given him that information.

Wang Min almost choked on his word as he realized that he must have made a blunder.

He vividly remembered that Rhea brought Zeus to this very Island where he stood and gave it to the nymphs. He also remembered that Zeus fed from a cow known as Adamaltheia until he grew into a fine young man since his arrival, he has not seen any cow but he has seen the one who bears the name, and she looked nothing compared to what was said in the myth.

“We should forget about that, let’s focus on some other things,” said Wang Min looking frightened.

“No, I insist, I want to know who told you I was a cow”

“Gotta run then,” said Wang Min as he turned to his heels and ran out of the room.

Adamaltheia frowned when she saw this and wondered what Wang Min is hiding or who told him about her being a cow that would make him so secretive.

Seeing as she will not be getting her answers anytime soon, Adamaltheia decided to focus on another matter which is figuring out a way to get Rhea to visit her like she used to do before Lilith happened.

Wang Min on the other hand was thanking the gods for getting him out of that predicament, he did not know what would have become of him if Adamaltheia got angry at him for calling her a cow.
