I'm The Devil - Chapter 167
Chapter 167: The Need For A Child
After finding solace and temporary respite in the company of Cain, Zeus prepared to return to the God Plane, his heart heavy with the weight of his recent trials and the uncertain future that lay ahead. With a solemn nod of gratitude to his newfound ally, Zeus bid farewell to Cain, promising to remember the kindness and aid he had offered in his time of need.
With a surge of divine energy, Zeus summoned the power to bridge the gap between the mortal realm and the celestial realm of the gods. As the veil between worlds shimmered and wavered, he stepped through the ethereal gateway, leaving behind the desolate wasteland and the enigmatic figure of Cain.
As he ascended into the celestial realm, Zeus felt a sense of relief wash over him, the weight of mortal concerns falling away like dust in the wind. With each passing moment, the memory of his encounter with Cain faded into the recesses of his mind, replaced by the pressing matters that awaited him in the realm of the gods.
Upon his return to the God Plane, Zeus was greeted by the familiar sights and sounds of his divine kingdom, though he could not shake the lingering sense of unease that clung to him like a shadow. Despite his triumph over the Watchers and his narrow escape from their wrath, he knew that darker days lay ahead, and that the challenges he faced would only grow more formidable with time.
With a heavy heart and a determined spirit, Zeus resolved to confront whatever trials awaited him, drawing strength from the memory of his encounter with Cain and the knowledge that even in the darkest of times, there were allies to be found and hope to be kindled.

Devil’s Peak
“Look at how cute they are, I wonder when I will have one of my own”
[Cough, Cough]
The girls present in the Devil’s Peak turned to look at Lucifer who walked in immediately Amaterasu said that.
It caught him unaware when she suddenly said that making him regret his decision of bringing Leto here where she gave birth to her little twins, Apollos and Artemis.
“What? Don’t you want to have kids of your own?” Aphrodite asked him knowing why he coughed.
“I want one but …” Lucifer said while thinking about what would become of a child birthed to him by one of his goddesses.
It will tip the entire scale of power known to everyone.
“Why the but? Are you planning on not having any children at all, or do you plan to make us childless?” Amaterasu said with an exaggerated expression.
Lucifer widened his eyes as he saw the way all of the women looked at him including Leto and her two children who seemed to have gained a trace of intelligence.
“No, there’s nothing of that sort, it is just that …” Said Lucifer quickly trying to calm the girls down.
“Oh, so what is it that makes you not want to have children of your own, are you also insecure like Chronos and Zeus?” Aphrodite fired back causing Lucifer to frown and pause on his track.
“And why would I be afraid of that, I am the second most powerful being in existence and there is no one who can surpass me, not even a child of mine, so that is not something I should be worried about, what I am worried about is” before Lucifer could proceed, they heard the cry of a baby causing them to get distracted from what Lucifer was about to say.
Leto quickly went to check up on her children and found out that Apollo was the one crying whom she quickly calmed down so as not to cause Artemis to join him in crying.
“See, this is one of the reasons that would deter one from having a child, the constant crying and need for a mother’s warmth, you won’t even have time for yourself, do you still want a child right now?” Lucifer said hoping it would take their minds off the child thing.
Lucifer’s words hung in the air, casting a shadow of doubt over Leto’s earlier resolve. She glanced down at her son, Apollo, whose cries had now subsided into soft whimpers as Leto cradled him in her arms, soothing him with gentle murmurs and tender caresses.
As she looked into Apollo’s innocent eyes, Leto couldn’t help but feel a surge of maternal love welling up within her. Despite the challenges and sacrifices that motherhood entailed, there was an undeniable beauty in the bond between mother and child, a connection that transcended the trials of everyday life.
“I… I suppose you have a point, Lucifer,” Leto admitted, her voice tinged with uncertainty. “But even amidst the challenges, there is a joy in nurturing a new life, in watching them grow and thrive under your care. It’s a responsibility, yes, but it’s also a privilege—one that I wouldn’t trade for anything.”
“Whose side are you on?” Lucifer asked, his voice tinged with feigned annoyance.
Leto simply smiled and went back to focus on her little boy, Apollos.
“That should not be a problem, we can take care of them just fine, and besides, we are the mothers, not you,” said Bast as she went to carry Artemis.
“Seconded”
“You all don’t understand, do you? Having my child is going to be quite tasking than you imagine it to be”

“Try us”
The goddesses refused to back down and were adamant about having a child of their own.
Lucifer sighed as he knew that they had no idea what they were signing up for.
The child of Lucifer, the second most powerful being in the universe, and a goddess would inherit an unparalleled combination of divine and infernal powers, making them a truly formidable entity. Endowed with the charisma, intellect, and cunning of their infernal progenitor, coupled with the divine grace, beauty, and wisdom of their divine parent, they would possess a unique blend of abilities that surpasses that of most beings.
Physically, they might exhibit flawless beauty and otherworldly allure, captivating all who behold them with their radiant presence. Their intellect would be keen, their wit sharp, and their charisma irresistible, enabling them to sway hearts and minds with ease. In terms of supernatural abilities, they would likely possess mastery over a wide array of powers, including manipulation of elemental forces, control over life and death, and the ability to wield both light and darkness as weapons.
Moreover, as the offspring of two immensely powerful beings, they would likely inherit a destiny of great significance, with the potential to shape the course of cosmic events and influence the balance of power between the realms. Their existence would be a testament to the union of divine and infernal forces, embodying the duality and complexity of existence itself.
Overall, the child of Lucifer and a goddess would be a force to be reckoned with, wielding unimaginable power and standing as a symbol of the convergence of heaven and hell, light and darkness, in a single extraordinary being.
That’s what Lucifer believes that his children born from the goddessess would be like, he has not even thought of those that might come from Lilith and Fang Hua, but he knew that they would be in a league of their own.
“Alright, let’s go make babies,” said Lucifer as he finally gave up and decided to indulge them in their request.
“Certainly,” both Aphrodite and Amaterasu said together as they walked up to Lucifer with all smiles.
“Hold up, are we going to do it turn by turn or, all of us together?”
Both Aphrodite and Amaterasu stopped in their tracks and turned to look at Bast who made that statement and frowned when they realized, she asked a very important question.
Lucifer chuckled at Bast’s question, amused by her boldness. He glanced at Aphrodite and Amaterasu, then back at Bast, considering her inquiry with a thoughtful expression.
“Well, that’s an interesting proposition,” Lucifer mused, tapping his chin with a finger. “Since we are trying to make babies, I suppose we could it an orgy”
Aphrodite and Amaterasu exchanged a glance, their curiosity piqued by the prospect. They shared a mischievous smile before turning their attention back to Lucifer, their gazes filled with anticipation.
“Shall we experiment, then?” Aphrodite suggested with a playful twinkle in her eye.
Amaterasu nodded in agreement, her excitement evident as she stepped closer to Lucifer. “Let’s explore all the possibilities,” she added, her voice tinged with excitement.
“Damn, you have to tone it down, there are kids here,” said Leto covering the ears of her son Apollos while looking at Bast to do the same who quickly complied.
“I suppose you will have to get them out of the Devil’s Peak when the action commences,” said Hestia who was silent the whole time.
Hestia’s gentle voice cut through the playful banter, drawing the attention of the group.
“And here I thought you were mute”
