I'm The Devil - Chapter 183
Chapter 183: Lilith Seeks Help From Lucifer 2
“Say what you want and leave, I don’t want to continue looking at you right now,” said Lucifer who was angered by the behavior of Lilith.
“That’s also good for me,” said Lilith with no remorse on her face, “there is a pressing matter, I got the news that your siblings are on earth and procreating with the women of the world. They are also teaching those lots magic and many more that I cannot even explain right now, you have to stop they destroy the humans” she said to Lucifer who had his eyes closed.
“Isn’t that what you wanted, to see the humans destroy themselves while you revel in their destruction, so what changed your mind?” Lucifer asked not understanding Lilith.
“Yes, I want to see them fall on the wrong part but that does not mean that I want to see them get destroyed. If nothing is done and they come closer to their doom, who would be left for me to have fun with?” Lilith asked them as if it was the most obvious question.
Lucifer and the others including Fang Hua just sighed believing that Lilith is beyond redeemable.
“If that’s what’s bothering you then you don’t have to worry, from what you are saying, they are even doing better, so it is unlikely that they would meet their untimely death,” said Lucifer not wanting to have that discussion again.
But Lilith was very adamant and persistent and would not give up until Lucifer got up from that seat of his and did something, “It is not them I’m worried about, it is your Father’s wrath that scares me. We all know that your Father’s plan for them was a mundane life but I changed that by making them a lot wiser than intended and also gave Cain a vial containing the liquid made by the tree of knowledge of good and evil with my blood in it after my transformation into a demon and so on, I can’t even count them. That was not his plan but they were not on this scale to draw his attention, but your siblings are doing something that would draw his attention sooner than later and he might destroy my playground, and I don’t want that” she said not backing down.
Lucifer’s brow furrowed as he considered Lilith’s words. She had a point – their father’s wrath was not something to be taken lightly. If these so-called siblings’ actions drew his attention, he knew what his Father would do and he would very much like that to happen, who wants to miss the great flood??
“Fine,” Lucifer conceded, his voice resigned. “I’ll pay a visit to Earth and see what my siblings are up to. But I won’t make any promises about what I’ll do once I get there.”
Lilith nodded, her expression grateful. “Thank you, Lucifer,” she said, her voice sincere. “I promise you that I will be on my best behavior after you come back, I swear on my name and position”
Lucifer merely grunted in response, his mind already racing with thoughts of what awaited him on earth. He knew that he would have to tread carefully – these so-called siblings of his were not to be underestimated, especially when they were working together, but that’s if he was someone else, but to him, they were nothing but mugs.
With a heavy sigh, Lucifer rose from his seat and made his way to the portal that would take him to Earth.
After Lucifer left through the portal, a heavy silence settled over the room, broken only by the sound of Lilith’s footsteps as she paced back and forth, deep in thought.
The other women, still clad in their scanty attire, exchanged worried glances, their expressions reflecting the tension that hung in the air. They knew that Lucifer’s departure marked the beginning of a potentially dangerous mission, one that could have far-reaching consequences for all of them.
Aphrodite, usually the most vivacious of the group, sat with a furrowed brow, her mind clearly preoccupied with thoughts of what lay ahead. Hestia, the youngest and most innocent-looking of the wives, chewed nervously on her lower lip, her eyes darting around the room as if searching for answers.
Amaterasu, always the pragmatic one, spoke up first, her voice tinged with concern. “Do you think Lucifer will be alright?” she asked, her eyes flicking towards Lilith for reassurance.
Lilith paused in her pacing and turned to face the group, her expression grave. “Lucifer is more than capable of taking care of himself,” she said, her tone firm. “But we must be prepared for whatever may come. Our safety depends on it.”
Cain stood before Mabel, his expression serious yet determined as he imparted his knowledge of vampire lore. He explained the intricacies of their heightened senses, their superhuman strength, and their ability to heal rapidly from even the most grievous of wounds.
Mabel listened intently, absorbing every word with rapt attention. She was eager to learn, to embrace her newfound identity as a vampire and all the power and responsibility that came with it.
As Cain demonstrated various techniques and skills, Mabel followed along eagerly, eager to put her newfound abilities to the test. But just as they were delving into the finer points of vampire combat, a sudden disturbance interrupted their lesson.
A swirling vortex appeared before them, a shimmering portal to parts unknown. Cain’s eyes narrowed in suspicion as he stepped forward, ready to confront whatever or whoever dared to intrude upon their sanctuary.
Mabel stood beside him, her senses on high alert as they both braced themselves for whatever lay on the other side of the portal. With a shared glance, they prepared to face whatever challenges awaited them, knowing that together, they were stronger than any foe that dared to cross their path.
“Easy there, believe me, you don’t want to go down that route”
They heard a voice sounded from the portal and a man of Celestial beauty emerged from the portal as he looked at them with a smile on his face.
“The name’s Lucifer”
