Chapter 201: Prelude To The Great Flood 3– Lilith and Fang Hua
In the heart of a desolate wasteland, where the land was cracked and barren, the air seemed to hum with a strange energy. The night was dark, with only a sliver of moonlight casting eerie shadows across the landscape. Suddenly, a faint glow began to appear in the midst of the desolation, growing steadily brighter until it became a blinding light that split the very fabric of reality.
A portal, shimmering with ethereal hues of blue and violet, emerged from the nothingness. The air around it crackled with arcane power, and the ground beneath it trembled as if acknowledging the arrival of something otherworldly. Slowly, the portal stabilized, its edges pulsating with raw energy, casting an otherworldly light upon the surrounding wasteland.
From within the swirling depths of the portal, two figures stepped forward. The first was a striking woman with a presence that commanded both awe and fear. Her long, dark hair flowed like a river of night, and her eyes, a deep crimson, glowed with an inner fire. Her attire was both regal and formidable, adorned with intricate designs that hinted at her immense power. This was Lilith, the first wife of Adam and a being of immense power and mystery.
Also currently the first wife of Lucifer Morningstar, the Devil.
Beside her, a woman of equally formidable presence emerged. Her hair was a cascade of silken black, and her eyes, sharp and intelligent, scanned the barren landscape with an air of calculation. She moved with a fluid grace, her every step imbued with lethal precision. Her garments, while practical, were also ornate, decorated with patterns that spoke of ancient and powerful magic. This was Fang Hua, a cultivator of the Wearroa Continent of the Divine Celestial Myriad Plane.
As they stepped fully out of the portal, it closed behind them with a final, echoing crackle of energy. The desolate place around them seemed to hold its breath as if recognizing the significance of their arrival.
Lilith glanced around, her expression one of mild disdain. “Earth,” she murmured, her voice soft but carrying a weight of authority. “It has been a long time.”
Fang Hua nodded, her gaze sharp as she surveyed their surroundings. “It feels desolate and the celestial energy in the atmosphere is very scarce, I wonder if they could cultivate here,” she said, her voice calm and measured.
Lilith’s eyes narrowed, her crimson gaze fixing on a distant point in the horizon. “We must find the Lucifer,” she said, her tone decisive. “He has been here for so long and he has not done anything to help with the situation, instead he allowed matters to get worse.”
Fang Hua nodded in agreement, her expression resolute. “Then let us begin,” she said simply, her eyes gleaming with determination.
Elsewhere
In a grand but darkened hall lit only by flickering torches, Lucifer sat on a throne made of obsidian, its intricate carvings glistening in the dim light. The hall was silent, save for the occasional crackle of the flames. His white wings, a stark contrast to the shadows around him, were partially unfurled, giving him an almost ethereal appearance despite the darkness.
He recently created this place as a means to put fear into the hearts of the giants and also itch his name in the annals of history so that one day, the world would know that the Devil once walked amongst them and he can do it again.
Suddenly, his eyes snapped open, glowing with an otherworldly light. He sensed it—a disturbance in the fabric of reality, the unmistakable signature of two powerful beings crossing into Earth. His expression shifted from one of mild contemplation to a keen interest.
Lilith and Fang Hua had arrived.
Rising from his throne, Lucifer moved with an elegant, almost predatory grace, his wings folding neatly behind him. He made his way through the vast corridors of his domain, his mind already racing with thoughts of what their arrival might portend. As he walked, the shadows seemed to part for him, a silent acknowledgment of his power.
Standing at the edge of a balcony that overlooked the dark expanse of his realm, Lucifer reached out with his senses, feeling the distinct energies of the two women. He knew Lilith’s presence well—her power was like a dark flame, fierce and unyielding. Fang Hua’s energy, well, that’s a piece of cake for him, she is not that difficult to detect given her unique energy.
A faint smile curved Lucifer’s lips. “So, they have come,” he murmured to himself. “Interesting.”
Lucifer closed his eyes, focusing his energy and sending out a pulse that would guide the two women to him. The air around him crackled with anticipation as he waited, the echoes of his call reverberating through the fabric of the world.
Moments later, Lilith and Fang Hua appeared on the horizon, their figures framed by the desolate landscape. As they drew closer, Lucifer stepped forward, his white wings catching the faint light and casting an almost angelic glow around him. Despite the serene appearance, his eyes held a sharp, calculating gleam.
Lilith was the first to speak, her voice carrying a mix of reproach and affection. “Lucifer, it has been too long.”
“Indeed, it has,” Lucifer replied smoothly, his tone rich and velvety. “What brings you to Earth? Surely not just to check on me?”
Fang Hua smiled sheepishly while controlling herself from throwing herself at Lucifer which annoyed Lilith greatly, “Most certainly, it has been almost a decade now and I haven’t seen you” she said.
Lucifer nodded, his expression thoughtful. “Time moves differently here, for you it has been a decade but for me, it has been centuries. Maybe this world is trying to catch up with the other Realms.”
Lilith’s eyes narrowed. “This is not what we are here, is it?” She said glaring at both Fang Hua and Lucifer.
“Right, you are also here, Lilith, I totally forgot about you, my bad, I’m sorry,” said Lucifer causing Fang Hua to burst out laughing really hard.
Lilith clenched her fist while looking at Fang Hua who had already betrayed her at the sight of Lucifer and thought of ways to get back at her but for now, she has someone else to deal with, her husband.
