I'm The Devil - Chapter 250
Chapter 250: Khaos Arrives In Acranum
As the newly empowered students exited Lucifer’s office, their minds buzzing with the possibilities ahead, Lucifer Morningstar himself stepped out into the fading light of the evening. The Arcane Academy was abuzz with activity, and as he strolled through the corridors and grounds, it was impossible for him to go unnoticed.
Lucifer’s presence commanded attention. His chiseled features, piercing black eyes, and effortless confidence made him the focal point of every room he entered. Female instructors and students alike found their gazes lingering on him, their conversations halting as he passed by. His reputation and allure were undeniable, and the air around him seemed charged with a magnetic energy.
“Good evening, Lucifer,” a young instructor named Sera greeted him, her cheeks flushing slightly as she met his eyes. Her voice wavered slightly, betraying her nervousness.
“Good evening, Sera,” Lucifer replied smoothly, his smile both warm and enigmatic. “I trust the students are performing well under your guidance?”
Sera nodded, momentarily at a loss for words. As Lucifer continued his stroll, he noticed more and more female students and staff subtly—or not so subtly—trying to catch his attention. Some whispered among themselves, their eyes wide with admiration and curiosity.
“Did you see him? He’s even more impressive in person.”
“I heard he single-handedly defeated a demon lord once.”
“He’s so… captivating.”
However, not everyone was enamored. A group of male students watched with thinly veiled resentment as Lucifer passed by. Among them was Marcus, a talented mage who had been the center of attention before Lucifer’s arrival. His jaw clenched as he observed the female students’ infatuation with the new presence at the academy.
“Great,” Marcus muttered to his friends. “Just what we needed. Another reason for the girls to ignore us.”
“It’s not fair,” another student, Jared, agreed. “No one can compete with that.”
Lucifer, keenly aware of the attention and the undercurrents of jealousy, carried on with an air of unbothered confidence. He was not concerned or moved by it as he has by far very beautiful wives and he has seen a lot of beauties that could topple an entire universe with their beauty.
As he approached the main courtyard, he found a group of students practicing their spells under the watchful eye of their instructor, Master Thorne. Thorne, a seasoned mage with a no-nonsense demeanor, raised an eyebrow as Lucifer approached.
“Lucifer,” Thorne greeted him with a nod. “To what do we owe the pleasure?”
“Just observing the students,” Lucifer replied, his gaze sweeping over the young mages as they practiced their incantations. “I wanted to see how they’re progressing.”
Thorne’s eyes flicked to the female students who were noticeably distracted by Lucifer’s presence. “They’re progressing well, though I suspect they’ll have a bit more focus once you’ve moved on.”
Lucifer chuckled, a low, melodic sound. “I’ll try not to be too much of a distraction, then.” He turned to leave, but not before offering Thorne a respectful nod. “Good work, Thorne. Keep pushing them to their limits.”
As Lucifer continued his stroll through the academy grounds, a familiar voice called out to him. “Lucifer!”
He turned to see Elara approaching, a smile spreading across his face as he recognized her. Elara, a senior instructor with flowing silver hair and eyes that seemed to hold the wisdom of ages, had always intrigued him with her composed demeanor and keen intellect.
“Elara,” Lucifer greeted, his voice warm. “It’s good to see you.”
“And you as well, Lucifer,” she replied, her tone equally friendly. “How are you finding the academy so far?”
“It’s as impressive as always,” he said, his eyes twinkling. “The students are full of potential, and the instructors are top-notch.”
They began to walk together, their conversation flowing effortlessly. Lucifer found himself enjoying Elara’s company, her presence both calming and stimulating. As they talked, he couldn’t help but let his natural charm shine through, leaning closer and speaking in a lower, more intimate tone.
“You’re doing remarkable work here, Elara,” he said, his gaze lingering on her. “I can see your influence in the way the students carry themselves.”
Elara blushed slightly, a faint smile playing on her lips. “Thank you, Lucifer. It’s a team effort, really. But I appreciate the compliment.”
Lucifer’s eyes sparkled with mischief as he continued. “You know, Elara, I’ve always admired your dedication and passion. It’s rare to find someone who can inspire others so effortlessly.”
Unaware of his flirtatious intent, Elara took his words at face value. “That’s kind of you to say, Lucifer. I believe we all have our strengths to contribute.”
As they walked, passersby couldn’t help but notice the interaction. Female students and instructors alike watched with a mixture of envy and admiration, wishing they could be in Elara’s place. The male students, already nursing their bruised egos, could only look on with a sense of resigned frustration.
“Look at him, charming everyone,” one student muttered.

“She doesn’t even realize he’s flirting with her,” another added, shaking his head.
Meanwhile, Lucifer continued his subtle advances, his voice taking on a more intimate tone. “Elara, have you ever considered that your strengths might be even more impactful beyond the walls of the academy? There’s a world out there that could benefit from your wisdom.”
Elara glanced at him, curiosity piqued. “What do you mean, Lucifer?”
“Well,” he said, leaning in slightly, “imagine the two of us, traveling together, sharing our knowledge and experience with those who need it most. We could accomplish so much.”
Elara chuckled, still oblivious to the undertones of his suggestion. “That sounds like an interesting idea, Lucifer. But I think my place is here, guiding the next generation of mages.”
Lucifer smiled, undeterred. “Of course, Elara. But keep the idea in mind. The world could use more people like you.”
Their conversation continued, filled with laughter and mutual respect. To the outside observer, it was clear that Lucifer was weaving his charm effortlessly, but to Elara, it was simply a pleasant exchange with a respected colleague. As they finally parted ways, Lucifer couldn’t help but glance back at her, his smirk growing wider.
Elara, still unaware of the effect their interaction had on the onlookers, returned to her duties, her mind lightly touched by Lucifer’s words. Meanwhile, the academy buzzed with the whispers and speculations of those who had witnessed the encounter, their admiration and envy adding to the ever-growing legend of Lucifer Morningstar.
Lucifer made his way back to his office, the echo of his footsteps a steady rhythm against the marble floors of the academy. Once inside, he closed the door and sat down at his grand desk, the soft leather chair enveloping him as he leaned back and replayed his encounter with Elara. Her composed demeanor and the way she remained oblivious to his flirtations amused him, and a smile crept across his face.
Just as he was about to lose himself in his thoughts, the space in front of him began to distort. The air shimmered and folded, like heat waves rising from the ground on a scorching day. The distortion grew more pronounced, twisting and warping the light until, with a gentle hum, a figure stepped through.
Khaos emerged gracefully from the folding space, her presence immediately filling the room with an aura of power and mystique. She was tall and striking, her long, flowing hair a deep midnight blue that shimmered with hues of purple under the light. Her eyes were an intense, otherworldly shade of gold, piercing and enigmatic. She wore a sleek, form-fitting gown made of dark, ethereal fabric that seemed to shift and ripple like the night sky, adorned with intricate patterns of stars and galaxies.
“Lucifer,” she greeted him, her voice smooth and resonant, carrying an almost musical quality.
“Khaos,” Lucifer replied, his smile widening. “To what do I owe the pleasure?”
Khaos didn’t reply immediately. Instead, she stepped closer, her eyes locking onto Lucifer’s with an intensity that made the room feel even smaller. Before he could react, she reached out, grabbed him by the collar, and pulled him into a passionate kiss.
Lucifer was momentarily surprised, but his initial shock quickly gave way to reciprocation. His arms wrapped around her, pulling her closer as their kiss deepened, a fire igniting between them. The air around them seemed to crackle with energy, the intensity of their connection palpable.
After what felt like an eternity, they finally broke apart, both breathing heavily. Khaos’s eyes still held that fierce, otherworldly gleam as she looked at him, a satisfied smile playing on her lips.
“I didn’t know that disappearing on you would make you kiss me,” Lucifer said with a mischievous grin. “Guess I should be doing that more often.”
Khaos chuckled, a low, melodic sound. “Don’t push your luck, Lucifer,” she replied, her voice laced with amusement. “What happened?”
Lucifer smiled, his eyes twinkling with a mixture of pride and intrigue. He made a sweeping gesture with his hand, and a projection of a young student appeared in the air between them. The boy was strikingly handsome, with an air of confidence that seemed to radiate from him.
“This boy happened,” Lucifer said, his voice tinged with admiration.
