I'm The Devil - Chapter 252
Chapter 252: How Did You Do It???
Over the next few weeks, Lucifer dedicated himself to the rigorous training of his students in the Celestial Arts department. Each student had their unique strengths and areas of expertise, and Lucifer’s goal was to nurture and enhance these talents, guiding them toward their full potential.
One early morning, Lucifer gathered his students for a special training session. The sun had barely risen, casting a golden hue over the academy grounds. The air was crisp and filled with anticipation as the students assembled in the training hall, a grand space adorned with intricate symbols and ancient artifacts.
Elandor was the first to arrive, his eyes filled with determination. Behind him followed Aria Valerian, Rylan Aetheric, Elena Seraphine, and Darius Thorn. Each student greeted Lucifer with a mix of respect and eagerness, ready to begin their training.
Lucifer stood before them, his presence commanding yet warm. “Good morning, everyone,” he began, his voice carrying the weight of authority and encouragement. “Today, we embark on a journey to refine your skills and unlock the depths of your potential. Each of you possesses unique abilities that, with proper guidance, can change the course of our world.”
Gathering them closer, he spoke with a tone that combined both warmth and authority. “Now that you have received your Celestial Powers and unique Physiques, we must begin your training in earnest. This training will push you to your limits and beyond, but it is necessary if you are to master these new abilities.”
Elandor, standing at the front, exchanged glances with Aria, Rylan, Elena, and Darius. Each of them felt a mixture of anticipation and determination.
Lucifer led them to a secluded training ground within the academy, a place where they could practice without interruptions. The area was vast, with sections dedicated to different types of magical practice: a dense forest for nature magic, open fields for elemental spells, shadowed areas for illusions, and a fortified arena for combat training.
“We will start with individual exercises tailored to your specialties,” Lucifer announced. “After that, we will move on to group exercises where you will learn to combine your powers effectively.”
He turned to Aria first. “Aria, your task is to enhance the growth of this forest. Feel the life around you and channel the Verdant Heart to amplify your connection.”
Aria nodded, stepping forward. She closed her eyes and extended her hands, feeling the pulse of life in the trees and plants around her. As she concentrated, the forest began to respond. Trees grew taller, flowers bloomed with vibrant colors, and the air was filled with the fresh scent of nature. The Sylvan Physique heightened her senses, allowing her to communicate with the plants, guiding their growth with precision.
Next, Lucifer turned to Rylan. “Rylan, I want you to control the elements. Summon a storm, but keep it contained within this field. Use the Tempest Physique to harness the chaos within you.”
Rylan smirked, excitement flickering in his eyes. He stretched out his arms and began to chant an incantation. Dark clouds gathered overhead, and bolts of lightning crackled through the sky. The air hummed with energy as wind and rain swirled around the field. Rylan’s Tempest Physique allowed him to control the storm’s intensity, directing its power with remarkable precision.
Lucifer then addressed Elena. “Elena, create an illusion that can deceive even me. Use the Phantom Veil and the Eclipsed Physique to blur the lines between reality and fantasy.”
Elena took a deep breath, her eyes narrowing in concentration. She wove intricate illusions, making the training ground appear as a bustling marketplace. The sounds of merchants haggling, the smells of exotic spices, and the sight of colorful stalls all felt incredibly real. Lucifer walked through the illusion, nodding in approval as he marveled at the details. Elena’s Eclipsed Physique allowed her to move through the shadows, adding layers to her already convincing illusions.
Finally, Lucifer turned to Darius. “Darius, demonstrate your combat prowess. Use the Titan’s Might and the Titan Physique to showcase your strength and resilience.”
Darius stepped into the fortified arena, his muscles rippling with power. He conjured a spectral opponent and engaged in fierce combat. Each strike was precise and powerful, his movements fluid and controlled. The Titan Physique made him nearly invulnerable, his skin hardening like metal to deflect blows. The ground trembled with each of his attacks, showcasing the immense power he wielded.
Lucifer watched each student closely, providing guidance and encouragement. “Remember, these powers are an extension of yourselves. Mastery requires not just skill but also understanding and harmony with your abilities.”
After their individual exercises, Lucifer called them together for group training. “Now, you must learn to work as a team. Your powers complement each other, and together, you can achieve extraordinary feats.”
He set up a series of challenges that required them to combine their skills. Aria created barriers of thorny vines, which Rylan electrified to form protective traps. Elena cast illusions to confuse potential enemies, while Darius defended the group with his brute strength, shielding them from attacks.
Lucifer guided them through various scenarios, emphasizing coordination and synergy. “Elandor,” he said, turning to the all-rounded mage, “you will act as the strategist, directing your teammates and utilizing your versatility to adapt to changing situations.”
Elandor nodded, stepping into the role with confidence. He coordinated their efforts, ensuring that each member’s strengths were used effectively. The training sessions were grueling, but with each challenge, they grew stronger and more cohesive as a team.
Days turned into weeks as they honed their skills under Lucifer’s watchful eye. The bond between the students deepened, and their trust in each other grew. They faced numerous trials, each more difficult than the last, but their determination never wavered.
One evening, as the sun set over the training ground, Lucifer gathered them for a final exercise. “You’ve come a long way,” he said, pride evident in his voice. “But this is just the beginning. The true test lies ahead, and you must be ready to face it together.”
The students stood together, their faces reflecting a mix of exhaustion and determination. They knew that their journey was far from over, but with Lucifer’s guidance and their newfound powers, they felt ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
As they looked towards the horizon, the future seemed filled with endless possibilities. The Arcane Academy was on the brink of greatness, and with these exceptional students, Lucifer knew they could achieve it. The journey ahead would be challenging, but with their combined strengths, they were prepared to shape the future of magic.
Lucifer dismissed the students for the evening, allowing them some well-deserved rest before heading to a meeting with the other instructors and the Archmage of the Arcane Academy. The meeting was held in a grand hall adorned with tapestries depicting legendary battles and ancient symbols of magic. A large, circular table stood at the center, around which the instructors were already seated, deep in conversation.
The Archmage, a tall, imposing man with a regal bearing, entered. His long, silver hair flowed down his back, and his eyes sparkled with an ageless wisdom. He wore robes of deep indigo, adorned with symbols of the arcane, and an aura of power surrounded him, palpable even to those untrained in magic.
“Good evening, everyone,” the Archmage began, his voice calm and authoritative. “We have much to discuss regarding recent events and the progress of our students.”
The instructors nodded in agreement, and the Archmage continued. “Firstly, we’ve received reports of increased magical disturbances in the eastern territories. Our scouts have detected fluctuations in the ley lines, and there have been sightings of rogue mages attempting to harness these energies for unknown purposes.”

Lucifer listened intently, his mind already formulating strategies to address these issues. As the discussion progressed, various instructors shared their insights and concerns. Eventually, the conversation shifted to the students, particularly those in the Celestial Arts department.
One of the instructors, a stern-looking man named Magnus, spoke up. “I’ve noticed that the students under Lucifer’s guidance have been progressing at an extraordinary rate. Their abilities have developed far beyond what we would expect in such a short period. How is this possible?”
The room fell silent, and all eyes turned to Lucifer. Many of the instructors had been wondering the same thing but had been hesitant to voice their curiosity. It was Seraphina, the Academy’s Mistress of Enchantment and Illusion, who finally broke the silence.
“Lucifer,” she began, her voice smooth and inquisitive, “it’s clear that your students have made remarkable strides. Their growth is unprecedented. Could you share with us how you’ve achieved such rapid progress?”
Lucifer smiled, appreciating her directness. “I like that question but I am under no obligation to answer that, so if you don’t have any other questions, we could move on to another matter” he said earning the frown of every instructor present except for Elara and Seraphina who only smiled.
