I'm The Devil - Chapter 257
Chapter 257: Zeus Meets His Kids
Adamanltheia’s eyes flickered with recognition as she examined Apollo and Artemis. “Children of Zeus,” she murmured, to which Lucifer nodded solemnly.
The nymph’s gaze softened slightly, a mix of curiosity and respect evident in her eyes. She then turned and motioned for them to follow her. “Come with me,” she said, leading them deeper into the forest.
The pathway twisted and turned, leading them through dense foliage and over sparkling streams. The air grew cooler, more charged with magic as they approached their destination. Eventually, they reached a secluded grove, bathed in dappled sunlight and surrounded by ancient trees. At the center stood a magnificent tree, its trunk thick and gnarled with age, its branches heavy with glowing, golden fruits.
“This tree,” Adamanltheia explained, “was planted many years ago, its fruits imbued with ancient, potent magic. Only a select few are permitted to enter this sacred place.”
As they neared the tree, Adamanltheia waved her hands gracefully, and two radiant fruits detached from their branches, floating gently into her palms. She turned to Apollo and Artemis, her expression serious. “These fruits will bestow upon you great power, enhancing your abilities and fortifying your spirits. Eat them, and you will be able to protect yourselves and fulfill your destiny.”
Apollo and Artemis looked to Lucifer, who gave them an encouraging nod. Without further hesitation, they each took a fruit from Adamanltheia’s hands and began to eat.
As they consumed the fruit, a surge of energy coursed through their bodies. Apollo felt a warmth spreading from his core, his entire being infused with a brilliance that rivaled the sun. His muscles grew more defined, and his senses sharpened. He could feel his connection to light and music intensifying, his power over these elements becoming more profound. His aura brightened, radiating a golden glow that lit up the grove.
Artemis, too, felt a transformation. Her body hummed with a newfound strength, her movements becoming more fluid and precise. Her connection to nature and the moon deepened, and her ability to communicate with animals and command the elements of the wild enhanced. Her eyes glowed with a silvery light, and her presence exuded a calm yet formidable power.
Both siblings stood taller, their confidence bolstered by the infusion of ancient magic. They exchanged a look of mutual understanding, feeling the weight of their destiny more keenly than ever.
Adamanltheia observed the transformation with a satisfied nod. “You are now ready,” she said. “The power of this sacred place flows within you. Use it wisely and honorably.”
Lucifer stepped forward, his eyes filled with pride and a hint of relief. “You are both stronger now, more capable of facing the challenges ahead. Remember the promise you made to your mother, and let this power guide you.”
Apollo and Artemis nodded, gratitude and determination shining in their eyes. “Thank you, Adamanltheia,” Artemis said, her voice firm. “We will honor this gift and protect our realms.”
Apollo added, “We will make our mother proud and ensure that our strength is used for good.”
Adamanltheia smiled, a serene expression on her face. “I believe you will.”
With their newfound power, Apollo and Artemis felt more prepared than ever to ascend to Mount Olympus. As they left the sacred grove, the grove’s magic continued to resonate within them, a constant reminder of the strength they had gained and the destiny they were meant to fulfill.
Lucifer turned to Adamanltheia, his expression softening. “Thank you, Adamanltheia. Your assistance is invaluable, as always. I promise to visit once I have attended to my wives.”
Adamanltheia inclined her head, a warm smile gracing her lips. “You are always welcome here, Lucifer. Take care.”
With a final nod, Lucifer placed a hand on Apollo and Artemis, and in a blink, they vanished from the serene grove.
They reappeared in the grand palace of the God King of the Greco Realm. The palace was a magnificent structure of gleaming marble and towering columns, its grandeur a testament to the power and majesty of the gods who resided within. At the far end of the grand hall, seated on a majestic throne, was Zeus, his presence commanding and awe-inspiring. Beside him sat Hera, her expression cold and unwelcoming.
The room fell silent as they appeared, the air thick with tension. Zeus’s eyes fell upon Apollo and Artemis, and he instantly knew they were his children. His gaze then shifted to Lucifer, who was already seated comfortably, as if he owned the place. Zeus’s lips tightened, but he chose to remain silent on the matter.
Feeling the weight of Zeus’s gaze, Lucifer inclined his head. “Yes, it is what you think. They are your children, born of Leto. I saved her.”
At the mention of Leto’s name, Hera’s frown deepened. She glared at the twins, then back at Lucifer, her fury barely contained. Clenching her fists tightly, she refrained from speaking, knowing that any harsh words could provoke Lucifer. Instead, she quickly stormed out of the palace, her eyes flashing with anger as she cast a final glare at Zeus and the twins.
Zeus watched Hera storm out of the palace, her anger palpable in the tense silence that followed. Turning back to his children, he studied them for a moment, his eyes filled with a mixture of pride and curiosity.
“Tell me your names,” Zeus commanded, his voice resonating through the grand hall.
Apollo stepped forward first, his golden aura shimmering brightly. “I am Apollo, Father. I hold dominion over the sun, light, music, and prophecy.”
Artemis followed, her silver glow matching her brother’s intensity. “And I am Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt, the Moon, and the wilderness. We are here to serve and protect Olympus.”
Zeus’s expression softened as he listened to them. “Apollo and Artemis,” he repeated, almost as if tasting their names. “You have grown strong, and your presence here is a testament to your resilience and courage.”
Lucifer, still seated, watched the interaction with a satisfied look. “Zeus, your children have undergone great trials to reach this point. They are prepared to stand by your side and uphold the honor of Olympus.”
Zeus nodded, his gaze never leaving Apollo and Artemis. “I can see that, Lucifer. You have done well to bring them here.” He then turned his full attention back to his children. “There is much you need to learn and many challenges you will face. But know this: you are welcomed here as my children, and you will be given the respect and honor that comes with your heritage.”

Apollo and Artemis exchanged a glance, a silent understanding passing between them. “Thank you, Father,” Apollo said. “We are ready to fulfill our roles and contribute to the strength and prosperity of Olympus.”
Artemis nodded in agreement. “We will honor our lineage and protect our realms with all the power we have gained.”
Zeus smiled, a rare expression of warmth crossing his face. “I have no doubt that you will both achieve greatness. Come, let us discuss your future and the responsibilities that await you.”
