Chapter 35: Going To The Norse Realm
Devil’s Peak

“I don’t understand why we are going on this stupid, whatever it is called with you. I want to go back home, to my family. You know that the longer you keep me here the greater your chances of going to war with my Realm, but if you let me go, I promise I will talk to my father to forget about going to war with you, I can broker peace between you two. So please let me go home”

Bast was busy ranting on how she did not want to go to the Norse Realm for the nafnfesti of the son of Bor.

Meanwhile Amaterasu just kept silent as she sat at a corner watching Bast rant to Lucifer who apparently wasn’t even paying attention to her and just closed his while whistling and waiting for Aphrodite who was getting ready for the occasion.

After ranting on and on for a long Time, Bast out of frustration took a statue standing close to the wall and threw it at Lucifer.

The statue flew through the air as it made its way towards Lucifer who was unbothered and still had his eyes closed.

Before the statue could even get closed to Lucifer, it was cut into two by the unsuspecting Bor who like Amaterasu remained silent throughout.

After making sure that nothing touched Lucifer, Bor pointed his blade at Bast “the lord fancies you, that’s why you are alive right now” he said before going to sit at the corner minding his business once again.

Bast could swear she saw the way Lucifer looked at Bor after he said that and knew that if he had made any move or spoken beyond what he should have said then, there would be another god to die by his hands.

[Does he truly care about me? But he has never met me before or knows anything about me so how could I just catch his eyes in the first day we meet? There got to be something like how did he even know that I am supposed to be with Ptah? Does he really want me to be his woman, me and Amaterasu and he is not making any advances and just wants time to take it course? Sigh, things are becoming complicated]

Bast fell into a contemplative mood as she questioned if truly Lucifer had a thing for her and Amaterasu and something she never thought that she would think about this early was if she should give him a chance to prove himself but she quickly discarded it and let time take it course.

After a while, Aphrodite walked out with no changes on her making Amaterasu raised a brow at her as she could find no changes whatsoever on her.

Before she could ask, Bast beat her to it “I don’t see anything different about you which brings me to the question, what were you doing all these while inside and making us wait outside for you?” She asked Aphrodite.

Aphrodite smiled at the question but did nothing to answer it and just walked over to Lucifer and sat besides him.

Seeing the arrival of Aphrodite, Bor stood up and got ready for the command from Lucifer for him to take them to the Realm of Norse.

“Wait, before we go, are you not going to talk about us. We have a family, I have an inauguration ceremony coming up in a few weeks and I suppose to attend it but I can’t because I would be with you. And you all know that, that would make my father join arms with her father to go to war with you and I don’t want that” said Amaterasu who do not want any bloodshed between her Realm and Lucifer as she was sure her Father might not survive given what she has seen Lucifer do throughout her stay here and honestly speaking, he is not that bad also.

Lucifer opened his eyes and stood up before he looked at Bast and Amaterasu “you both can leave after the nafnfesti of his son. I never intend to keep you here anyway, it’s just that you both seem to have never had fun in your entire lives and I wanted to give you a little bit of break from all that daddy stuffs but what I said about me having taken an interest to you two is true and I want you to remember that and I would not do anything to jeopardize my chances of being with you. So if you feel like I am keeping you here against your will, be free to go back to your Realm, I won’t stop you but I will not also stop my advances on you both”

Lucifer said as he waited for the two goddess to make their decision before he would give the go ahead to Bor.

After hearing what Lucifer said, Bast and Amaterasu were silent and became shut of words. They knew what Lucifer said was true as during their stay here, he had never mistreated them in anyway instead he tried to make sure that they were satisfied but they were blinded by their image of him in their head picturing him as their captor, holding them against their will while he just wanted them to be happy for the moment.

Bast just kept her head down in embarrassment and just shook her head trying to convey to them that she is not going back to Kemet instead she was going to join them.

Amaterasu also joined making the Devil’s mouth curve upward slightly.

Aphrodite just snorted at the women’s sudden change of heart but glad that they finally had started thinking clearly.

Without further ado, Lucifer signalled Bor to take them to the Norse Realm.

After getting the confirmation, Bor raised his hands and face upward and wanted to shout something or call someone but he immediately felt that his voice was gone.

“What are you trying to do?”

Bor turned around to look at Lucifer who was the one to ask him the question and surprisingly he found out he could speak again “I was just trying to call the protector and watcher of the Aesir Domain to take us there” he said.

Lucifer looked at Bor with wide eyes when he remembered one of the movies his brother used to watch back in his past life something called Thor where they usually called someone to transport them to anywhere they want to go back and forth through something called Bifröst and he knew that if that were to happen, then his Palace would be destroyed and he can not let something like that happened.

He looked at Bor and pointed his fingers at him “you are trying to call Heimdall to take us with the Bifröst. Are you out of your mind, are you trying to destroy my home? You should know better than to do that, son of Buried. Now if you would please”

Lucifer said while changing the trajectory of his finger pointing at the door.

Bor scratched the back of his head when he realized what he was about to do and where he was. He didn’t waste any more minutes as he quickly dashed outside trying to get out of the embarrassment and escaping from Lucifer as he completely forgot about Lucifer knowing most of their secrets.

The others also filled himself where they saw him do the same thing he did inside before Lucifer shut him up.

“HEIMDALL, TAKE US HOME”

Bor shouted as a beam of light engulfed them all taking them away from their location leaving behind a circular and complicated rune like drawings on the ground.

In the Heavenly Jade Palace

Shangdi who was in his room with Bixia saw the beam of light appear and disappeared which made him guess that Bor was gone since that’s their way of transportation.

He relaxed after finding out that it was not a threat when he felt something, something that he immediately brought him back on his feet, the disappearance of Lucifer and his Woman, Aphrodite.

Not only him, even Nuwa felt it from her mountain.

They did not waste any more time as they all got dressed and immediately went to check on the The Devil’s Peak to make sure that he was gone.

The first to arrive was Nuwa who was surprised to see her son also on his way with his wife.

“Mother, you are also here” said Shangdi as he bowed to his mother slightly as a show of Hus respect towards her.

Nuwa just glanced at her son while nodding. After that, she turned to the male servants at the base of the Mountain “is the Devil gone or is this all just temporary” she asked wanting to get some answers.

“He is just gone for a while, there is nothing to talk about there again”

Nuwa, Shangdi and Bixia turned around to see a woman walking down the stairs slowly.

Bixia furrowed her brow as she never knew any one like that since her birth in this realm, so she was naturally confused “and who are you?” She asked.

“How rude of me, I am Tiānkōng, the guardian of the Devil’s Peak”

Domain Of Aesir

“Welcome to the Norse Realm and precisely the Domain of Aesir”

Bor introduced the group to his home with smiles on his face.

Before they could even revel in the awesomeness of the place, they heard someone shouting.

“LUCIFER, BROTHER, YOU ARE FINALLY HERE”
