Chapter 37: A Little Mishap
Lucifer, Bariel and Buri left the hall and went outside to have a private discussion.

When they arrived outside, Lucifer looked at Buri who called him and wait to see what he had to say.

Buri sighed and cleared his throat because he was about to say something that Lucifer might find offensive, he looked at him “I received a message from both the Kemet and Aztec Realm” he said before sighing once again, he removed his gaze from Lucifer as he gazed at the sky and continued “they are preparing for a war. They are gathering allies from the other Realms not associated with you to go to war with you, The Devil for killing and abducting their children and they came to me to ally myself with them but obviously I rejected to help them, the same can’t be said for Ymir. Also from my recent findings, two Realms would not go to this war and they are the Hindu and Pangu Realm but I’m afraid that the other Realms would join in this war”

When Lucifer heard this, he did not have any change in his expression and just only looked at the beauty of the Aesir Realm and he have to say that he was impressed, they are truly an artistic people.

Noticing the indifference Lucifer showed when he was told about the upcoming war against him, Buri just shook his head as that was the reaction he was expecting from the brother of Bariel.

It wasn’t a surprised to him that Lucifer would react this way, he has been with Bariel for so long to know that nothing seems to phase their kind and they view all the gods, even them, Primal gods as ants that do not pose a threat.

After a while, Lucifer turned to Buri “if that’s what you have to say, then I guess we are done here, why don’t we go attend the the nafnfesti, I would hate to miss the beginning of the event” said Lucifer turning around and making his way to the hall but was stopped by Buri.

“Actually, there is something I would like for you to help me with” said Buri while looking at Lucifer nervously, he sighed and continued “Ymir has been acting strangely recently, he is always quick to anger which was is normal to him but he has been getting physical lately, I heard from one of my associate there that, he is even thinking of having the entire Norse Realm for himself which we divided as we are not going to have each other rule the other and this is the only peaceful outcome but I don’t think that’s going to continue due to his recent ideology. After looking at the situation, I have noticed that Ymir is not in his right state of mind but someone is pulling the strings somewhere, someone is telling him what to do because the Ymir that I know, is a man of his words and he will never take back what he says. Whoever is making Ymir like this, I’m afraid I cannot face them as they might be too powerful for me to handle and maybe it has something to do with one of your siblings”

Buri hoped Lucifer and Bariel can maybe help him with this little problem of his as he has helped them.

“We can’t help you on this one, this between you and that Ymir guy and if indeed, there was someone manipulating him behind the scenes, then I assure you that there is nothing to worry about as none of my siblings that are in your Cosmos would do that. Also if the person pulling the strings do eventually shows up and they are beyond what you can deal with, then I assure you that we will help you”

Bariel was the one to answer that as he believed Lucifer would also help given the recent kindness and loyalty they showed him.

Lucifer remembered something from one of the movies he used to watch with his younger brother about frost giants and Asgard, present day Aesir, having a long term war between them and also from the mythologies of the Norse culture where Odin and his two brothers slew Ymir the Primordial giant using him to create the world.

Maybe, all those events were a result of this, it might all have started with the corruption of Ymir.

Lucifer turned around and faced Buri “there is nothing that you can’t handle, infant, your grandchildren might even take care of it for you” he said before finally walking away followed by Bariel.

Buri was left confused by what Lucifer said, what did he mean by his grandchildren might be the ones to handle it for him? He sighed and look at the direction of jotunheimr, the home of the Giants.

Back at the Hall

The gods of Aesir have all gathered to witness the naming of their young prince as they had ate and drank with laughter and smiles on their faces.

When there is a celebration like this, it is normal for one or two fools to act irrationally and provoke someone who they should not provoke and who would be better to provoke than the three new beautiful goddessess in their midst.

Aphrodite, Bast and Amaterasu were sitting at the place Bor kept for them while he went to check on on his wife and mother and get them to come down for the nafnfesti.

One of the Aesir gods who could not control himself when seeing beauties of such caliber approached them “hey beauties, I see you are not from the Aesir Domain nor from the Norse Realm, I am Vördrörirr, a local and well known god here, I can be your tour guide here in Aesir, that’s if you want” said the god while looking at them lasciviously.

Aphrodite just looked at the god whose aura reeks of lust towards them and snorted at him for his poor attempt at trying to get them to his bed “you would have to try better than that if you want a dog on your bed” said Aphrodite who did not offend look at the pig a second time and just focused on the events.

The man’s face contorted with rage, anger for being looked down and treated like a dog by a foreign goddess inside his own home. How dare her, he must show this young goddess that he is not to be trifled with, and not in his own realm.

Without wasting anytime, he raised his hands and aimed it at Aphrodite to strike her. His hands moved at an unnatural speed and straight at the face of Aphrodite but before he come land the slap, he found out that he had lost control over his hands, in fact, he could not even feel his own body.

“What do you think you are about to do?”

The man and the rest of the Aesir gods and goddess turned to see a man that could make both the men and women go crazy and behind was also another man of the same caliber but they were already familiar with him as he as been with them for a long time now.

“Who is he? Is he another one like Bariel?”

“How can a man be so handsome and beautiful at the same time. Hah, I just wished I could have him for myself”

“Even his angry face is so charming and intoxicating”

The goddesses’s heads were just filled with immoral thoughts about Lucifer and did not even think about the atmosphere.

Meanwhile the men were dreading the fact that there is someone like Bariel in their midst. They haven’t gotten eid of one but another one came.

If one Bariel is bad enough, then what about two Bariel? And from the looks of it, it seems Bariel respect this new fellow very much.

They just hope that they do not get on his bad side just as they had done with Bariel all these years.

Lucifer ignored all the stares and voices of the goddesses as he focused in the mab who was about to hit his own women.

“You dare try to hit my woman, have you no fear? For your insolent, your punishment is death and suffering in hell”

Lucifer said as he looked for Bor but did not find him anyway, so he decided to do it himself.

Lucifer willed his powers as the King of Hell as he ripped the soul of Vördrörirr from his body making his fleshy body fall on the ground.

He sent the soul of the man to Hell, to the region filled with Lava to be tormented for all of externality there with no way to escape his fate.

The other gods were stunted to see something like that and the way the new man effortlessly ended the life of one of their own.

“What are you all standing there like a statue, come on, we are here to party and party we shall, don’t let such a small mishap ruin the mood” Bariel immediately said as the place has become so lifeless after the little charade just now.

“Are you alright” said Lucifer to Aphrodite while caressing her check.

Aphrodite smiled and nodded before saying “I’m fine, you made sure of that”

The other two goddess looked at Aphrodite and to say that they were not jealous, then they were lying, they want a life just like hers and now they are determined to get.

They both looked at Lucifer and wondered if he was going to do the same for them when they are his.
