Chapter 84: The Devil’s Perils 2
The Cosmos

Kemet Realm

After the near destruction of the Kemet Realm, Ra entered a vegetative state, unable to even speak anymore talk less of even moving his body.

The Gods of the Kemet Realm decided to pick a new God king but first they have to rebuild their home.

But everybody knew who the next God King is and he himself knew it.

They spent years rebuilding their home and recently, they were done and the day of Coronation came after that.

Every Gods gathered in their new palace today as they wait for the new God King to appeared when all of a sudden, a large explosion occurred that shook throughout the Cosmos.

The Gods became alert and prepared to fight anyone who dares to attack them and disrupt their newfound peace.

But nothing of that sort happen, instead they saw a flash of blinding light coming from the location of the Primal God of the Sun, Ra.

They felt an unprecedented amount of pressure forcing them to the ground like never before.

No matter how hard they struggle to stand, they could not fight against that heavy pressure. After a while, they finally gave up and bowed in the direction of Ra.

Even Osiris who was supposed to be the new God King bowed.

Meanwhile, Ra who was lying unconscious in his room opened his eyes and felt something was not right, he knew that Lucifer took his divinity making him to become mortal god with no power whatsoever but right now, he could feel his divinity to the sun and it was by far stronger than before.

He immediately got up and went outside where he could see his subjects bowing at him, he smiled and waved at them before he noticed something weird.

The large crowds, the drums, the exotic dancers and the officials, the way they were positioned told him something was off, this not a gathering for him but a coronation.

His eyes immediately darted to where Osiris was and shook his hand after confirming what he guessed but that didn’t matter anymore, because he is here so if anybody wants to be crown, they should crown him instead.

Before Ra could speak to his subjects, he felt a call from the other Primal Gods and he immediately disappeared from their view and appeared in the outer space where the other Primal Gods and God Kings were.

After Ra left, the Gods of Kemet could finally breathe once again.

“I thought he was comatose, why does he seem fine and stronger than before?”

“I don’t know, but I believe it has something to do with that explosion and he leaving so abruptly”

“So what is going to happen to Osiris, he was supposed to take his father’s place but that’s dream for him once again”

The Gods murmured amongst themselves about the recent event.

Osiris who was not oblivious to all of these, was extremely furious, he gnashed his teeth in anger before storming out of there.

Sea Of Chaos

The mad laughter of Khaos filled the entire Sea Of Chaos.

Lucifer could only watch as everything he built and everyone he holds dear are about to turn into meat paste.

Khaos has clearly thought of everything through, from his reincarnation to this point, he was just dancing to her tones, she made him Lucifer because she knew the old Samael would not even bat an eye even of she killed off his siblings, made him have people he loves, those he will never want to lose because of this moment, just to use them against him.

But she also made one mistake, something she never truly thought through, if she would not grant him his freedom until he released her, then all of her plannings are just going to waste because whichever choice he choose, he will end up losing everything he holds dear.

Lucifer closed his eyes as he has come to conclusion, he looked at Khaos who still stretch her hands at him waiting for Lucifer to free her only to frown as she saw him grin wickedly at her “you never gave me any choice, I will lose everything no matter what I choose, so why don’t I lose everything and make you live the rest of your life here in eternity” said Lucifer.

Khaos face changed into an ugly monstrosity as she glared at Lucifer “YOU DARED?” she yelled at the top of her lungs, she rushed at Lucifer only for him to move out of the way “JUST SO YOU KNOW, YOU BROUGHT THIS UPON YOURSELF”

With that, Khaos snapped her fingers and the Primal Gods and the God Kings lost the colours in their eyes as they had only one command Kill and Destroy anything associated with Lucifer Morningstar, the Devil.

Lucifer looked at the Primal Gods and The God Kings as he clenched his fist when he saw how zombie like they have become.

He must find a way to get out of this place very fast to get back to save his people.

Khaos appeared besides him without any of her playful nature “you are the only one that can save them now” she said as she turned around and continued “just like the modern saying ‘the ball is now in your court'”

The Outer Space Of The Cosmos

Coriel and Bariel were now surrounded by so many Primal Gods and God Kings including Nyx who could be said to be their friend.

“Sister, you go call for help, I will handle these lots” said Bariel who is confident in his strength, even if they have gotten stronger, he believed that if he managed to even devour one of them, he would tilt the scale to his side.

Coriel scoffed when he said that “and leave you here to die? Moreover, if my guess is correct, the others are also occupied, so shut up and let’s focus on these mindless puppets” she said.

Bariel smirked before he rushed at his old friends Buri and Bor, he wanted to see if he can talk some sense into them.

Bariel and Coriel battled the many Gods trying to kill them and it was not an easy thing, they were clearly outnumbered and overpowered, there was nothing they could do, the moment they have the opportunity to keep one of them down so that Bariel could devour them, another one would come disturbing them.

They were driven to the corner and there was nothing they could do but reside to their fate.

They held their hands and smiled at each other as they wait for their eventual death “this is the only moment I’ve seen you smile sister” said Bariel.

“And this is the last you will see me smile, goodbye brother” said Coriel as she used the last bit of her strength and created a portal before pushing her brother into it “this is my fault, I should not have been too obsessed with that damn Pendant, you have to live on Bariel”

Coriel looked at the Gods as they released their attack “this is the end of the line for me” she said as she gave out a sad smile.

“I don’t think so, sister”

Coriel raised her face to see a figure clad in golden armor, an armor she knows too well and a face none of them Archangels would ever forget “Michael”
