Chapter 85: Hosts of Angels
“The one and only. I have to see, it is indeed a rare thing to see you smile” said Michael while looking at Coriel.

Coriel scoffed before returning to her stoic nature “and that’s the last time you will see me” she said before she stood up “I did not know Father would send help, I thought he has forsaken us” she said.

“Well, who is he to refuse the call of his child who is even willing to sacrifice everything he holds dear so that he can keep a greater evil at bay” said Michael as he brandished his sword at the incoming Gods as a warning.

Coriel was surprised when she heard that, she never thought Lucifer will be willing to go that far as to do something like that “if Lucifer really did what you said he did, then this evil you speak of is on a whole different level” said Coriel as she wondered who or what could that be.

Michael shuddered while remembering that scene eons ago, when she came and almost killed them with nothing but her aura pressure, what he would give to not let anyone release her ever again.

Michael turned to face the Gods “okay, you rest now, I will take it from here” said Michael as he spread out his golden wings and flew head on at the Gods.

Coriel wrapped herself with her shadows as she wanted to take a quick nap to speed up her recovery.

Michael danced his way through the army of the Gods as he hack and slashed those unlucky enough to end up in the path of his sword.

Michael wasn’t your everyday Archangel, he is one of the oldest beings in the universe, had tons of experience, fought an Entity and made it out alive, this bunch of upgraded Gods are still not enough to phase him.

“Lucifer, Sooner Or Later, You Will Be Overwhelmed By Our Numbers, And Then You Will Be Below My Feet Begging For Me To Spare You” yelled Ra from a very far distance.

Michael looked at the god and wondered if something was wrong with his head or what??

Everyone of the Gods here are all mindless beings right now and they have only one command and that’s kill and destroy everything related to Lucifer but Michael can clearly see that, that god is in his right frame of mind but he still wants to kill Lucifer and even worse make Lucifer beg at his feet.

Michael didn’t know if to laugh or not, he wants to make his proud brother beg at his feet, “I guess Lucifer really screwed you pretty bad, huh?” said Michael as he decided to keep this god until Lucifer comes back.

Sea Of Chaos

Few Minutes Earlier

Lucifer has finally given up and has already decided to make this place his home when he saw how Bariel and Coriel were being rough handled by the Gods.

“So you have truly made up your mind, you choose to stay here with me rather than free me into the world, that’s a noble sacrifice, you deserve to be exalted” said Khaos in a mocking tone “you are not your Father who would give his life for the mortals he is going to create later on, no body will even remember your deeds, nobody would know you choose to sacrifice everything just so you can save the universe, no body would worship you, all they will remember you for is that you are the Devil, the one who causes their misfortunes, their predicament, they will pray to cast you out of their lives, is that the universe you are trying to save, come on, just release me from my bind and I will make sure to return all things to the way it used to be, to the Age of Everlasting Darkness, just one drop of blood and you will not have to be subjected to that fate anymore” said Khaos whispering those things to the ears of Lucifer.

Lucifer clearly annoyed by her attempt to trick him into doing something he would not even consider doing “it is better to be hated than not to exist. So stop your futile attempt to tempt me, that’s my specialty not yours” said Lucifer as he closed his eyes once again.

“YOU BASTARD, RELEASE ME NOW OR …. NOOOOOOOOOO!!!”

Lucifer opened his eyes when he heard her Screaming at him only for her to redirect it to someone else.

Lucifer turned to look at the screens she conjured that showed the different places where his families and friends are being attacked by the Gods.

What he saw put a smile on his face, on each and evey battleground, Archangels together with their hosts of angels appearing on the battleground.

Lucifer burst out laughing as he now knew why Khaos was truly angry. Someone appeared on the battleground and with his presence in this Cosmos, she knew that her plan was foiled, there was nothing she could do now, she has lost her bargaining chip.

With the appearance of Michael alone, there was nothing any of the Primordial gods can do, it is endgame for them and Khaos does not have any other way to interfere.

“I guess we are going to spend an eternity together then” said Lucifer as he grinned at Khaos who glared at him.

“Is I can’t get what I want peacefully, then I will have to take it by force” said Khaos as she began approaching Lucifer.

“Give it up, you can’t get out of here, I will not give you my blood nor will I let you take it by yourself” said Lucifer as he started moving back a little “look at the bright side, you have me as a companion for the rest of eternity, you won’t be bored anymore” said Lucifer flashing her his wicked grin.

“You are so annoying, when I do get out of here, you will be the first person that I will kill” said Khaos as she chased after the fleeing Lucifer.
