Chapter 87: Release Her
“At least have a little faith in our brother but I would really need you stop putting on that vulgar thing”

Lucifer turned to see someone with the same an almost perfect facial features such as him but of course, even if they have the same facial features, the newcomer pales in comparison to him, that’s what he believes.

“Michael, the one who bears my face, the one who I need in times like this” said Lucifer as he showered Michael false praises, he walked up to him with his hands outstretched “come, let us merge and leave this atrocious place, I am going insane every single seconds I spend here”

Before Lucifer could take Michael’s hands, he moved out of the way causing Lucifer to look at him in shock. Michael straightened himself and cleared his throat “I am not here for that and save your false praises to yourself, brother” said Michael before looking at the very being that makes him tremble at her sight, his face turned solemn as he turned to look at Lucifer “I have a message from Father”

Lucifer seeing that look on Michael frown, he had a very bad feeling that he was not going to like the next thing that will come out of the mouth of Michael “what did the old man say?” Lucifer asked bracing himself for the worse.

“He said to tell you to release her” said Michael.

When Lucifer heard that, it was as if the world stopped moving, time came to a stand still, he was just him and himself in the vast expanse of the void as he began to comprehend what he heard.

The laughter of Khaos brought the two brothers out of their thought.

“No, no, no, no, I don’t think that’s what he said, you didn’t get him right, honestly I suggest you get your ear checked by Raphael” said Lucifer before he pointed at Khaos and continued “Father must have said ‘you should tell Lucifer never to release that Atrocity no matter what’ but you obviously heard something else. Father can never let something that would want to destroy everything he ever built or will build, that’s not him”

Lucifer said, he believed that there was no way their Father would let her be released, he hasn’t even started his most prized creations and he was just going to let someone who wants to put an end to all of Creation, that’s not going to happen.

“Hey, don’t talk about me like am not here and for your information, I’m not an atrocity, spending billions of years in this godforsaken place can make one go insane” said Khaos who was all smiles to the point she didn’t even take offence to what Lucifer said.

Michael looked at Lucifer and scoffed “do you think that’s not the first thing I said the moment I heard him? I said the exact same thing but he said and I quote ‘tell Lucifer to let her go’ that’s what he said, who am I to say otherwise and I suggest you do the same” said Michael before leaving the Sea Of Chaos to take care of other things.

“What are you waiting for? You heard the man, don’t just stand there, release me” said Khaos happily.

Lucifer didn’t even listen to her and just stood there with a blank look on his face.

He still could not believe what Michael said, it is not possible, releasing her would doom the entire universe including them, he can’t do that, if anyone had to be a threat to the universe, it should be him not someone else.

“Hey, I don’t have the whole day, I have things to destroy and an invader to chase off, and you standing there is the only thing in my way now, so listen to your old man and get me out of my bind” said Khaos losing her patience.

Lucifer shook his head, he was not going to do what he was told to do, even if he has to go against his Father, he would, this is not the first time nor would it be the last.

Khaos seeing Lucifer not doing anything frown, she was this close to regaining her freedom and the brat was hesitating? She felt like strangling him right now “you won’t do it right? You won’t release me, perhaps you need a little bit of motivation” said Khaos before the scenery changed once again “what about this?”

Lucifer’s eyes widen when he saw the scene that was about to unfold, something stirred within him and his eyes turned bloody red as he glared at Khaos who was looking at him with a mocking grin “YOU DARE?” said Lucifer with clear anger in his voice.

“Hahahahahaha, oh I dare, and knowing your Father wants you to release me, I highly doubt he would send anyone to help them and if you think they are going to be able to defend their selves, then I should let you know, I weaken them a great amount and they are nothing but feeble mortals about to be devoured by a mighty god” said Khaos as she laugned heartily.

Lucifer closed his eyes, calmed his anger that was about to take the best of him, he channelled his hatred that he has for Khaos to use a little bit of his powers and created an exquisite blade.

He looked at the Blade and felt that it was very powerful and it deserves a name but he could not do that now as time was not on his side.

He used the blade and cut his wrist and looked at Khaos “just so you know, the moment I release you into the universe, you will be marking your death because the Old Man won’t just do something like this without a plan” said Lucifer as he placed his bleeding hands on the chains as they became to crack little by little until they broke into pieces.

Khaos turned around and felt something wrong within her being, she felt that something within her was creating some sort of bind, connecting her to him.

She looked around to demand for answer but found out that there was nobody here with her.
