80: Revealing The Truth 80: Revealing The Truth Their eyes had drifted to Seraphina, who stood at the center of the room with arms crossed and posture firm.

She didn’t shrink from it.

She didn’t look away.

But she wasn’t pushing forward either.

She just stood quietly, steady as always, letting the moment speak for itself.

Everly leaned forward first, her voice soft and unsure.

“So… you’re really a succubus?” Seraphina gave a small nod.

“Yeah.” She answered like it was the most normal thing in the world.

Evelyn turned next toward Lilith, then Isabella, then Liliana.

Her gaze flicked between them all like her brain was trying to catch up to what her heart was already starting to realize.

“All of you?” she asked, her tone a little breathless.

Lilith nodded calmly.

“We always have been.” Evelyn leaned back slowly.

“You’ve lived with us.

For years.” “And not once did we notice,” Everly added, shaking her head.

“Not even a hint.” “You weren’t supposed to,” Liliana said gently, folding her hands on her lap.

“We weren’t hiding from you.

We just… stepped away from what we used to be.” Evelyn frowned a little.

“So why not tell us?

Why keep it quiet at all?” Lilith spoke, her voice as calm as ever.

“Because being loud… comes with problems.

We weren’t running from anything.

We had power, recognition, influence-but after a while, you realize it’s not worth losing your peace.” She glanced briefly at her daughters.

“We could’ve ruled cities.

Countries, even.

We had the resources.

The bloodlines.

The attention.

But after a few centuries, you learn the quiet life is the real luxury.” Everly asked quietly, “You gave all that up?

The power… the attention… just to live here like this?” Lilith smiled, not with regret, but with calm clarity.”We didn’t give anything up.

We chose something better.

Fame fades.

Power attracts problems.

But peace?

A real home, real bonds… that’s worth more than any crown.” Ethan listened carefully.

Even though everything happening should’ve felt heavy, overwhelming, or even chaotic, it didn’t.

He was grounded.

His system had already shown him pieces of the truth.

This was just confirmation.

Still, watching the twins struggle with it reminded him how hard it was to process something like this all at once.

And then Elowen finally stepped forward.

She had been quiet the whole time, standing by the wall like a calm observer.

But now, the way she moved made it clear that she had something more to say-something important.

“There’s more,” she said gently.

The twins turned to her.

Both of them looked a little unsure now, like they were bracing themselves.

“What do you mean?” Evelyn asked.

“You’re not saying… you’re a succubus too?” Everly asked.

Elowen shook her head softly.

“No.

I’m something else entirely.” She stepped closer, taking her time.

“I’m Elven.

I come from a realm called Elvaria.

It’s not another country.

It’s another world.” Evelyn and Everly both sat frozen again.

“I was born there,” Elowen said.

“In a time of peace.

But that peace didn’t last.

War broke out.

Our people were scattered.

Our traditions are lost.

I wasn’t a queen then… just a fighter.

A healer.

Someone was trying to protect what was left.” She looked over at Lilith and gave a small nod.

“That’s how we met.

Two women who had no reason to trust each other-but did.

We traveled together.

She helped me when others wouldn’t.

And eventually, we found something we weren’t meant to find.” She paused.

Her tone didn’t change, but her eyes softened.

“A fruit.

Something ancient.

Wild.

It pulsed with magic.

Old magic.” “You ate it?” Evelyn asked.

“I did,” Elowen nodded.

“But not to gain power.

I was sick.

Poisoned from a battle that went wrong.

I thought I was going to die.

Lilith gave me the fruit to save me.

And it worked.” A slow breath.

“But it did more than that.

It gave me strength… and it created life.” The twins exchanged a glance.

“You mean us,” Everly said.

Elowen smiled gently.

“Yes.

There was no father.

No ritual.

No magic spell.

Just a strange fruit, and my body pushing back against death… and choosing creation instead.” Neither twin said anything.

“You were born from something rare.

Not just biologically, but spiritually.

You weren’t planned-but you were meant.” The room stayed quiet.

“I didn’t know what to do,” Elowen said.

“I had two infants, no home, and a war still burning on my planet.

I couldn’t raise you while leading troops.

I couldn’t keep you safe.” She looked at Lilith again.

“So I left you with the only person I trusted.” Lilith didn’t look back.

But her expression said enough.

“And I never forgot you,” Elowen said.

“I kept track.

Your birthdays.

Your injuries.

Your school records.

I get reports every week.

I missed being there-but I never missed loving you.” Everly’s voice cracked.

“Then why now?” “Because the war’s over,” Elowen said.

“I’ve won.

Our people are safe again.

And now… I’m not here to take you away.

I’m just here to tell you the truth.” She stepped closer, her voice dropping a little.

“You’re not fully human.

You carry Elven blood.

Magic lives in both of you.

And your powers-sunlight and moonlight-they were always waiting.” Evelyn wiped her eyes quickly.

“Why didn’t we ever feel different?” “Because you were raised in love,” Elowen said.

“And that’s what grounded you.” The room held that moment gently.

Then Liliana spoke, almost in a whisper.

“This is why when your powers awakened, they turned out to be powerful elements.

And this is just the early phase of your awakening, as beings with racial bloodlines tend to have special awakenings as they grow, so the powers you have will just grow even more powerful in the future.” Isabella nodded.

“It was never random, it never was, as these are part of the ancestral powers that pure blooded elves get when their superpowers awaken.” The room stayed quiet after Isabella’s words.

The glow from the morning light stretched softly across the floors.

Dust hung gently in the air, almost still.

No one rushed to speak again.

No one knew what to say next.

Evelyn and Everly sat side by side, still processing everything.

Their hands were close now.

Almost touching.
