Chapter 184: Not a single Normal Woman…
Heeding Viola’s polite request, Cassius followed her through a jungle trail. In the not-so-distant background, the helicopter that brought them here resumed its ascent into the skies. Within seconds, it was long gone.
Cassius turned his head back ahead and walked the trail with just him, Viola, and two A++ Rank Hunters that acted as bodyguards of sorts.
They, unlike the suited Hunters from before, looked like proper Hunters. They had shiny, gaudy armor and unnaturally large, high-quality weapons. Moreover, they carried with them imposing auras that unconsciously pressured everything in the vicinity. Of course, to Cassius and Viola, their mighty auras might as well have not even existed.
Viola noticed this and further solidified her belief that this young man, who seemed to appear out of nowhere, was, in actuality, hiding a lot more than he was willing to show. Her goal here today was to better figure out exactly how much he was concealing from the world. His identity as a newly awakened S-Rank Hunter was all but certain in her mind, but the difference between those within the S-Rank was far wider than even all of the previous Realms combined.
‘Am I about to witness the birth of an unbelievably powerful S-Rank Hunter? Or will he turn out to be just like 90% of the S-Rank Hunter population? Ordinary.’
Viola became wet just imagining the answer to that question…
Cassius felt that icky feeling again, prompting him to look toward Viola. However, yet again, she looked and acted as if everything were completely normal. Even while a suspicious liquid trickled down her supple thighs, she stared straight ahead with unmatched focus.
“….” ‘Why… Why is not a single woman I know normal…?’
Cassius was truly starting to believe that some god above was playing him as a fool.
—Five minutes quickly passed—
Cassius and Viola finally made it to the metallic dome, and it was only then that he truly understood just how massive the Dome actually was. It was nearly a fifth the size of the entire island and was entirely comprised of reflective panels. Moreover, each one of the panels was only the approximate size of a fist, which meant there were likely hundreds of thousands of them.
Viola walked ahead and approached an area that looked exactly like the jungle around it. However, when she reached out and touched the empty air, an octagon panel shone with a blue light. Ripples of similarly colored light spread from the octagon panel as the origin. Within an instant, the blue light took the rough shape of an average-sized hangar door.
After a second of listening to whistling gusts of wind come out from every edge of the hangar door’s light shape, it made a sound similar to the opening of a tightly closed hatch. A large hangar door that matched the light shape began to slowly fall down before eventually making contact with the ground.
*THUD!*
With the reverberation of a loud thud, Viola’s smile slightly widened. She turned around, fully displaying her mesmerizing beauty under the bright sun, and said, “Well, are you ready to show me precisely how ‘weak’ you are?”
Cassius furrowed his brows. He looked past the gorgeous woman and saw an interior space riddled with metal escalators, overarching titanium beams, and most noticeable of all, the massive Purple Gate tied down in the very center of the dome facility.
There had to be thousands of people in professional work attire maneuvering in every direction, all moving with purpose. Vehicles and advanced mecha machinery made up the main modes of transportation.
He could also feel a few powerful presences… each one clearly at the S-Rank.
Viola noticed this as well. Her brows knitted together a bit in annoyance as she said, “It seems that a few troublesome characters are also here for this Gate… How irksome.”
“These aren’t friends of yours…?” Cassius asked with narrowed eyes. If things were to go south, he was prepared to make his debut in the world a little earlier than expected.
Fortunately for the S-Rank Hunters, Viola shook her head while saying, “They’re not my friends, but they are technically classified as allies of Japan. Though, that doesn’t make them any less… irritating…”
Cassius’s hidden killing intent eased up as his draconic racial qualities stopped affecting his appearance. Viola had not noticed this occurrence, but if things had gone sideways, he had a Dragon Quasar Beam on standby. The force of that Skill with his current Intelligence and Atomic stat—if converted—would’ve been enough to wipe this island off the face of the map. And that wouldn’t even have been the full extent of the damage that would’ve ensued…
Just a couple of words from Viola were enough to set in motion a ticking time bomb that could’ve very well permanently altered the topography of the world…
Viola, unaware of the disaster she just prevented from happening, looked ahead and saw several pompous figures teleport onto the scene. A second later and they were already standing right in front of the four people who had just opened up the Dome’s Hatch.
“Well, well, well, would ya look at what the cat dragged in?” An arrogant feminine voice bled the ears of all who heard it. A powerful aura then erupted from the owner of this voice.
OOOM!
Multiple more incredibly strong auras blasted right after the eruption of the first woman’s aura. Altogether, their natural auras were capable of bringing to their knees both of the A++ Rank Hunters that Viola brought with her. They struggled to resist the pressure pushing them into the earth, but no matter how strong their wills were or how frustrated they became, they couldn’t accomplish anything meaningful.
In the face of absolute power, all resistance was deemed futile.
This was not the world of fiction. The power of friendship and the power of love meant nothing when faced with unquestionable strength. Anger and will could maybe overcome differences in power, but this difference… it was not one that could be crossed so easily.

‘More S-Rank Hunters,’ Cassius thought to himself, completely unaffected by the immensely powerful auras trying to bring him to his knees.
