Chapter 188: Slaying Oblivion Titans
*Whoosh, Whoosh, Whoosh—!!*
The blackish white blood rapidly disappeared in the same instant it touched Cassius. Within half a second, the rest of the swarming blood vanished from the skies, leaving the Oblivion Titan corpses deprived of blood and a singular man further empowered.
His Vampire Duke Bloodline rate began to skyrocket!
[SSS-Rank Vampire Duke Bloodline: 0.09%… 0.7%… 1.6%… 1.8%… 2.2%… 3.5%]
The Bloodline increment indicator ultimately stopped moving once it reached 3.5%. And along with this cease of movement came a massive wave of strength that powered both the Vampire Duke Bloodline and his personal strength. From his physical prowess to his physical and elemental resistances to his speed and reaction speed—everything was tremendously improved.
“!!!” Viola watched in real time as Cassius’s already absurdly powerful presence became even more absurd. ‘How can someone possibly become stronger in this manner!? It doesn’t make any sense!’
She had only noticed it some time ago, when Cassius first revealed what she thought to be his concealed ‘aura.’
When, in actuality, he had no aura, with what she saw simply being the outward visual representation of his power. This was not the same as the ‘aura’ of normal Awakeners.
But regardless of that point, from the moment she first witnessed his presence, Viola saw that same presence steadily increase. Though, with this most recent Oblivion Titan massacre, she saw his aura spike up by an absurd amount!
She had no idea what caused this spike, but the blood that smashed into him definitely had a part to play.
That had to be it!
But why was any of it still not making any sense…?
How could blood make a set-in-stone Hunter stronger??
Meanwhile, Cassius’s brows curved up in satisfaction as he glanced at the incoming System Notification while ripping out Magic Cores with his telekinetic abilities.
*Ding~!*
[You have slain 97 Oblivion Titans (S-)]
[Your Experience Bar tremendously moved!]
[You leveled up!]
[You received 1200 Stat Points in all of your Main Attributes!]
[Acquired 4000 AP!]
[You reached Lvl 97!]
“Lvl 97, huh?” Cassius mused. “That means I’m only 3 levels away from achieving Lvl 100 and meeting the minimum requirement to take the Job Test and receive a Job.”
He had done much idling over the last period of time. From practicing his various Techniques and Skills to combining them to trolling anyone close to him. He had also been actively seeking out and completing Side Quests, Urgent Quests, Daily Quests, and Special Quests, all in hopes of increasing the ‘Idle Score’ that would levy the Job he’d receive.
‘If only I could complete the 3rd and 4th Main Quests soon. I would then be able to obtain the 4th Idle Benefit. The 5th Idle Benefit would also surely not be too far behind,’ Cassius thought while finishing up the Magic Core collection process. ‘By that point, I’ll be gaining far more Idle Points than I am right now…’
He knew precisely what he had to do to complete the 3rd Main Quest and would likely receive the rewards within a couple days, but the 4th Main Quest was where things truly became troublesome. Seeing as he had yet to receive the System pop-up informing him of his power level breakthrough into the SS-Rank, he was definitely still lacking when compared to the 72nd through 70th Demon Kings.
They cared not a single bit that he was technically the 73rd Demon King of HELL. They would be gunning for his throat the very moment he stepped back into that Hellscape.
And if he didn’t wish to actually enter the ranks of HELL as an undead or ghost, then he had to quickly become stronger than the weakest Demon Kings. After which, he would be required to go on a rampage of sorts through the 1st Floor of HELL, acquire a reputation for himself, and then travel between Dimensions with a Dimensional Hub. At that point, he would probably just repeat the process in the other 5 Dimensions, including Earth.
Only then would he be able to complete the 4th Main Quest given by the System. This would also be his key to acquiring the 4th Idle Benefit and the opportunity to unlock the Idle Benefits that follow.
However, before any of that could occur, Cassius had many tribulations that he had to first overcome on his little blue marble in space…

With several minutes having flown by in the blink of an eye, Cassius and Viola had made their mark all over the Peak Purple-rank Gate. Of course, the former had been doing most of the work, but that didn’t mean that the Voidling Guild Leader didn’t also have her part to play.
In total, she had personally killed 9 Oblivion Titans, which was even better than Vera and her Party were doing!
It just wasn’t anywhere near as impressive as the number amassed by the freak currently crouching on one corpse among hundreds…
“He has really single-handedly eradicated the Oblivion Titan population in this Gate…” Viola muttered with a great amount of awe.
She had never experienced something quite like this, and it was making her super… wet…
Every further S-Rank Oblivion Titan that Cassius effortlessly chopped up, the more unhinged Viola’s fantasies became. She would often spontaneously burst down below whenever she looked at his cold eyes. Her imagination led to her usually being pinned down and ravaged by this emotionless beast. He would whisper savage threats into her ears, and she would have no choice but to oblige. After all, he was stronger than she was.
In the beginning—when Viola first witnessed Cassius’s strength—envy took hold of her mind. She wanted such strength and the ability to become stronger through blood absorption as well.
Why wasn’t she allowed to have this privilege, too??
But as the minutes stacked and turned into half an hour, Viola realized that more so than anything, she was just plain f*cking horny! She was hella horny!
It was like a gawdamn year-round gusher blaster ten thousand down there!! It was insane just how much liquid was building and sprinkling both her clothes and the topography!!
She might as well have been the incarnation of Gaia with how much she was watering the bleak black and white plants of this cryptic land…
