Chapter 310: The Weakling… [Bonus Chapter 2/7]
*Wham!*
The young girl hurriedly slammed the front door to her upside-down boat-like home. She exhaled a large breath of cold air when she verified that the coast was clear. Only then did she hop above the long sheet of freshly cut wood that made up her home’s flooring.
Because of the constant attacks by entities nearly as big as their entire village—some even bigger—the homes of Villagers were being constantly torn down. As a result of this, houses were almost never not under construction, with some having been rebuilt hundreds of times.
Thankfully, the Bonecliff Villagers were adept at fighting and constructing, else the whole Village would now be no more than a gigantic pile of rubble… And with how many times it had been attacked, that wasn’t even an exaggeration…
It truly was tough being the little guys in a vast world filled with only big guys…
“Were you troubled again, Xyla?” A sweet voice bounced off the woody walls of their home, its tone a heavy contrast to the deep, gnarly voices of the mostly male Hunting Party. “You must remember, though; the Villagers all love and adore you. They mean no harm… Now, who might this be…?”
Xyla’s mother—a beautiful brown-haired woman named Myra—took one look at her sheepish daughter before narrowing her eyes. She, too, could discern the approximate strength of the man on her daughter’s back, but that didn’t make her any less defensive.
“Come, Xyla, put that weakling down,” Myra commanded as she reached for a nearby sword hanging on a wall. “Momma will deal with the weakling. Come.”
Xyla vehemently shook her head. Feeling her mother’s murderous intent let her know that she couldn’t let her have the weakling. The weakling was something she found; she didn’t want him to die!
Pleading with her big round eyes, Xyla protectively shielded Cassius. “Weakling can be mine,” she said with a determined gleam. “Can take care of him; feed him, bathe him…”
Myra’s suspicion didn’t lessen any, but under the intensely adorable gaze of her daughter, she folded. She shook her head while sighing, causing her supple hips and bouncy breasts to sway. With how revealing her thin clothes were, Cassius’s eyes would’ve been widening for an entirely different reason were they open.
Actually, just walking through the Village of beautiful, mostly nude women likely would’ve taken his breath away.
For the common cultured man, they’d surely contently say, “A Primitive World is way better than the Modern World if things are like this. I’ll revert to monke and be pervert!”
‘Why do you always insert your Inner Monologue into everything…?’ Cassius asked inside his mind, doing his utmost not to reveal that he had regained his lucidity. ‘I think everyone you believe you’re talking to can live without your nonsensical input.’
*Ding!!!*
[Wrong! Without my input, you’d bore all our viewers to death, you dumb chimpanzee!]
[You’re about as dryly unamusing as Dad Jokes being told by someone who isn’t a Dad! Just imagine the outrage that would come from the viewers if you were to have all the screen time! Would that not be a bleak thing to imagine!?]
‘…What viewers are you even talking about, you lunatic bastard?’
[Tsk! Of course you can’t see them like the Great I can! This is why you’re so inferior to me!]
[(˶˃⤙˂˶)]
‘…Y…You… I don’t even know what to say anymore…’
[You can try praising me! That’ll greatly ease all your sorrows!]
‘You mean your sorrows…?’
[Huh? What did I say? No, what did you say? Are we not saying the same thing??]
Deciding it to be a far wiser choice to simply zone out his insufferable System, Cassius returned his focus to the two people in his vicinity. Both were girls, one young and adorable, the other busty and scary. Yet, neither was weaker than he was. In fact, either one of them could very well instantly slap him to death if they so wished.
Even with the huge improvements to strength after the advancement of his Physique, the two gals before him still remained a chasm he needed to surpass. It was highly possible that they were quite talented in whatever it was the people here practiced in order to become stronger. He guessed this because he could tell that he became stronger than the weakest in the Village while walking past them.
But for the two gals, it was a big no-no to even begin comparing tips. They were strong. Very, very strong.
However, it didn’t seem like their Innate Physiques were too much better than his was. The daughter’s was higher in proficiency, but still inside the GX- – – Rank. On the other hand, the sexy mother was a Rank higher—the GX- – Rank—but still within a manageable range. Neither of these explained why exactly they felt so much stronger than he was.
‘First and foremost, I need to survive and figure out where I am,’ Cassius thought. ‘Then I have to understand what sort of methods these Villagers are using to become so powerful.’
After that… Well, was it not already obvious? He’d take whatever method they were using to become so strong, and he’d do so without fail.

There was simply no possible way he could pass up on something so damn enticing!
It would be his!
However…before that could be achieved, he had to figure out what way he should go about getting through this predicament he found himself in…
“Eat, weakling,” said Xyla while waving around a slab of meat bigger than she was. “Here, catch.”
They were in the backyard area of the Chieftain’s house. Xyla was chucking slabs of meat at the profusely sweating Cassius, whereas his soot-covered face was shrouded with a veil of nervousness. He lay on a flat bed of green grass, keeping his eyes closed. Even as huge chunks of meat slapped him in the head, giving his brain a good knock, he played the comatose patient part to perfection.
It didn’t seem like anyone so far could tell that he was actually lucid, and if even the Chieftain couldn’t, then it was extremely likely that no one could. As such, why shouldn’t he make use of this unknown variable that was his himself?
However, completely out of his optimistic expectations…
