Chapter 429: Immortal Cultivator
‘Finally, HE’s here!!!’ The Heavenly Progenitor’s teeth chattered in both instinctual fear and excitement as he watched the small spatial crack with unmatched focus.

“So this is where that signal was coming from.”

An archaic voice resounded throughout all reality, making the Holy Mother Spirit’s heart sink to the bottom of her stomach. Everyone, no matter who they were, knew the moment this voice appeared that they could be permanently erased with but a mere thought—if the owner of the voice willed it.

It was the same as how Cassius was in the Three Great Worlds, except on a much, much, much higher level.

The two instances were incomparable.

“How interesting.” A middle-aged man with long flowing robes and dao-filled eyes somehow teleported into the middle of the Arena of Yggdrasil without anyone noticing. “So this is what that signal was referencing. Yes, I see now. This trip has not been wasted, and this one is perfect for what I need.”

Suddenly, a cute, round-eyed girl was lifted into the air from where Lilia Eldrine was hiding.

“M-Mama, what’s happening!?” Sylvy cried out as she reached for her mother.

“My baby!!” Lilia immediately used every ounce of her power to resist the passive pressure of the mysterious man’s aura, yet couldn’t move more than half an inch. “Noooo!!!”

The mysterious man revealed a tiny smile.

“With a willpower like yours—and your relationship with her—you’ll make for the perfect enhancer for this girl.” He waved his hand very casually, lifting Lilia off the ground as well. “You both will be coming back with me. You should be honored; to serve the purposes of an Immortal Cultivator like me should be the highlight of your once-meaningless lives.”

Immortal Cultivator!?

This mysterious man was actually a legendary Immortal Cultivator!?

“LET GO OF THEM!!!”

Adam Steele lost all his rationality, erupting with enough power to shock even the Holy Mother Spirit and the Yggdrasil Ancestors.

To think he had become so powerful!

However…

“Five feet.” The mysterious man rubbed his chin. “Although I’m not using even a billionth of my full power, a Lower Mortal should not be capable of doing what you just did. Mhm, I’ve decided—you’ll be coming with me as well. But don’t be mistaken. You’re not normally worth my attention, but your relationship to the girl will assist my purposes.”

“DAMN YOUU!!!”

Adam lost total control over his motor functions. No matter how much he resisted, he was rendered as helpless as a chick. And just like his wife and daughter, he was now motionlessly floating behind the mysterious man.

With each member of his family being forcefully captured against their will, Cassius’s expression grew darker. His emotions were in utter turmoil, with his rational side gradually losing out to the side telling him to forgo everything and kill this motherfucker!!

OOOM!!

In the end, Cassius couldn’t stand it anymore. And with a billowing roar to the heavens, he broke free from the mysterious man’s oppressive aura.

However, even though Cassius traversed a distance of many miles in an instant—far surpassing the capabilities of anyone else—the mysterious man’s mood did not improve. On the contrary, it worsened.

“An abomination like you—who are you to charge at me?”

The mysterious man showed a disgusted look before slightly flicking out with his pinky finger.

“!!!”

Without any hope of resistance, Cassius had half his physical body obliterated. His expression froze as he was sent shooting backward, crashing into the Arena and through it without stopping.

BOOM!

Cassius reappeared in the Wolfdom Dimension in a half-dead state.

Most terrifying of all was that his body… wasn’t regenerating!

“Cassius!!” Yimin, Zara, and the other girls all cried out, with deep hatred for this mysterious man engulfing their hearts.

Forgoing all sense of reason or thought, they urged their bodies to attack the mysterious man. However, no matter how much they wanted it, their physical attributes couldn’t keep up.

They weren’t even able to move a single inch…

“In my world, I’d use an analogy to compare the difference between myself and those foolish enough to oppose me, but… none is fitting here.” The mysterious robed man unleashed another very tiny amount of his power, making everyone rethink their reasons for living. “Whether it be an ant to an elephant or God to a Mortal, you’re all too weak to be worthy of the comparison.”

OOOM!

Not even the Yggdrasil Ancestors and Holy Mother Spirit could raise their heads, for they knew the moment they did so, they’d cease to be.

“Even this Treasure you insignificant mortals live in is so low-level that I almost couldn’t locate it in my garden,” said the mysterious man as he materialized a picture of a patch of flowers. “On the smallest of the Spiritual Flowers on this uninhabitable planet, your whole civilization lives. You see that speck? That is the combined culmination of all that any of you ants will ever amount to.”

The whole of the Ascension Tower could hear the mysterious man’s words. They could all see the vivid picture showing them just how inconsequential they actually were in the universe outside.

Even the normally jovial Beezlebub was no longer smiling…

“I could kill each and every single one of you with a fraction of a thought.” The mysterious man cut off the image, allowing his aura to wrap around the Ascension Tower and even the void that separated the Treasure from the real world. “To me, your life and death is a simple matter. Something that I can manipulate at will.”

Everyone in the world suddenly felt a looming scythe of death glisten against the back of their necks.

“But I won’t.”

The scythe disappeared.

“And only because I’ve benefited from this trip that I made out of boredom.” The mysterious man glanced at the three people helplessly floating beside him, all unconscious. “To think I’d find someone with a Physique as special as this one in such a worthless place. My cultivation will improve by leaps and bounds when she eventually matures.”
