Chapter 189: Damn Cougars!
Chapter 189
……
FWIP!
Upon teleporting over to the deep dip, Urkan stared at the slightly shiny object laying at the deepest depths of said pit.
FWIP!
He blurred once more and materialized in the air above a beast who was barely able to keep one of his convulsing eyelids open. But it was enough for him to see the tiny man looking down on him.
The Omega Leviathan wanted to lash out in rage and devour the human whole, but he knew that attempting such a thing would just speed up his death. Instead, he decided to lay there, awaiting the verdict from the man who served under one whom he previously deemed as nothing more than a fake king…
“This is the price that you have to pay to learn your place, and I hope you have a clearer understanding of where you stand, for if my master were the one to fight you… Well, let’s just say that he isn’t as benevolent as I am.”
Following Urkan’s words, the Omega Leviathan was able to catch a glimpse of the piercing crimson gaze that the Crimson Emperor used to watch their fight unfold, all while never leaving his throne.
It was at this moment that the Omega Leviathan realized something…
This was never an honorable duel to begin with… Nor was it a battle between two ruler’s… It was simply a way for the Crimson Emperor to pass some time…
After this thought passed through his mind, he averted his gaze away from the aloof, crimson-haired man and instead looked toward the robust Urkan.
“Can I acquire more strength…? Can I break through the bottleneck that has restricted me for millions of years?? If I join you, can I advance further…?”
The Omega Leviathan seemed to be asking Urkan this question, but it was really directed toward the ethereal man sitting upon a throne built upon the blood of his enemies.
“…”
Urkan looked at his master for confirmation, and after receiving a light hand wave, he flipped his gaze back toward the desperate Leviathan. He said, “You will make a breakthrough within the next 3 thousand years if you join the Crimson Battalion, and you will continue making breakthroughs until the day our master deems you useless.”
“Is this truly the case…!? Within a mere 3 thousand years, I’ll be able to breakthrough into the Middle-Adamantine Rank!?”
“My master never lies; now are you willing to bend the knee?”
Urkan asked such a question, but he already knew the answer, for if a desperate man was pushed to the edge, there would be no more apprehensions left within his mind.
And just as he expected, the Omega Leviathan morphed into his humanoid form before falling to the ground with a thud. “I shall serve the Crimson Emperor till the day I die! More strength is all I want in return!”
Urkan lightly nodded his head. “Very well. From this day forth, you and the rest of your Double Leafed Faction will serve as a Vassal and Subsidiary of the Heaven Exploding Sect. Prepare your things and head over to the main headquarters for official registration as an Inner Elder.”
Following this proclamation, his figure started to fade away. But before he fully disappeared, he said, “Welcome to the Heaven Exploding Sect, and do try not to tarnish our master’s name. For if you do, I’ll just have to kill you.”
FWIP!
His figure ended up completely vanishing from sight, and in his place, he left a massive Leviathan—an ancient creature who lost everything and yet gained even more within the span of a few seconds.
“This is my chance… I want to achieve a higher realm, and if this is what must be done in order for me to do that, then I don’t mind selling my soul to the devil…” He muttered with a newfound fire burning brightly inside his slitted eyes, driving him forward to a new world of opportunities.
As he watched the expressionless man stare at him from upon his blood-red throne, he felt something enter inside him—something that would allow him to advance straight into the Middle-Adamantine Rank if given enough time!
“So many Refinement Potions of the Adamantine Rank… And this Secret Manual, just what sort of insane level of comprehension speed do you need in order to write something so advanced…?”
A new sense of reverence welled up within the Omega Leviathan as he looked over the contents of ‘Physical Existence – The Way of the Body’—a book that held an untold number of profundities. All at a level beyond what he could fathom.
“It was the right choice to follow such a ruthless man…”
That was the last thing he said before the screen turned to black and no one else was left inside the rapidly regenerating pit.

“Hey, Az, Az!”
A voice echoed throughout the vast, hallowed halls of the Divine Crimson Palace, as a woman with long black hair and goldish-colored eyes came rushing toward a man in a crimson kimono.
The man in question was trying to make it to his private cultivation chambers that lay to the left side of the Palace, where the Fallen Immortal Mountain was placed a few years ago.
“…”
Azmodeus wanted to keep walking without paying any mind to the girl rambling about a bunch of nonsense behind him. But after feeling something soft and squishy collide with his back, he heaved a sigh before turning around. Only to realize that the girl was glued to his back…
“What are you doing, You Mei…?” He questioned, his brows slightly twitching as he resumed his approach toward his private chambers.
“Hehe~ What are you doing~?” She asked in response, a mischievous grin playing on her lips as she nibbled on his neck.
“…”
Azmodeus was beginning to think that he lived with a bunch of vampires…
As he turned around a corridor decorated with a number of bright, lantern-like ornaments, he caught sight of yet another one of such bloodsuckers.
“Az, Az…”
That was all Chi Wu said before making her way over to him, lifting You Mei off his back, throwing her out a nearby open window, and ultimately taking her place.
Azmodeus watched this go down with a blank expression as he wondered where You Mei ended up landing.
But considering that the Palace was surrounded by a heavenly spring lake, he figured she was fine and persisted in his walk. This time, he moves a little faster so as not to attract any more cougars.
