Chapter 247: A Black Hole
Chapter 247
…..
If one included all the beings and equipment that the two lively weapons had devoured over the years, then their rapid advancements to the peak of the Early Nebula Veil Rank made a lot more sense.
Nevertheless, that was just one of many things that had changed in a positive way for Azmodeus, as there was also the fact that his Physical Existence Divine Rank Physique assimilated with his body.
This permitted a way to better control a physical prowess multiplier, and it also increased said multiplier. Which, in the end, made it possible for a 1 billion x booster to be applied to his physical body.
Although that wasn’t much when one thought about it from a broader perspective, it was still good enough to improve his Battle Power in the short term.
Speaking of his Battle Power, it had long since reached the absolute peak of the Solar Dynasty Realm. And all it needed was one little push in order to breach into the Early Nebula Veil Realm!
Luckily for him, such a tip-over was right around the corner…
–
“You’re telling me that an unknown spatial phenomenon has formed in the nearby airspace?”
Azmodeus had his hands clasped behind his back, staring out at the vast expanse of stars in front of him.
*Thud!*
The Captain of the leadship hit the metal surface with a thud as he cried out, “The scouting squad of the Star Fleet has already reported back with multiple unusual readings, all of which indicate something beyond the scope of our system!”
“…Is that so…?” Azmodeus entered a state of deep thought while watching various asteroids and comets pass them by.
It was only after a moment of brooding over the matter that he turned his head toward the kneeling captain. “You will command the Star Fleet to sit outside the general area of this phenomenon. And while you do that, I will go and see exactly what you’re talking about myself.”
“Isn’t that too dangerous, sir-!?” The Captain started to panic as he abruptly got up off the floor, only to be quickly put back down onto the ground with the release of his Liege’s aura!
*Bang!*
The Captain profusely sweated from all pores, his expression ashen beyond belief as he seemed to still be reeling in from the immensity of his lord’s aura.
*Drip Drip*
As large beads of sweat dripped off his face, Azmodeus moved toward his figure with slow steps, making each one feel like the collapse of the universe.
“Listen, loyal captain of mine.” He put his right foot toward the ground, and the moment before it made contact with the floor, it suddenly increased in speed and power.
WHAABAM!
The lead ship—a ship over a light year in diameter—was tipped onto its side as Azmodeus grabbed the shoulders of the captain. Staring directly into his soul, he coldly uttered, “You don’t need to concern yourself with my well-being. You just need to do exactly as I say.”
Following these words, bereft of emotion, he walked away from the scene like an immovable mountain, making his way toward the nearest airlock.
*Drip Drip Drip*
The Captain was still profusely sweating with a face beyond terrified. But after a second of collecting his nerves, he managed to get up off the ground and head in the direction of the radio center.
He immediately gave out the commands as per his Liege’s orders, and when the fleet received these commands, they already knew that their Liege would be doing something insane…
In spite of their thoughts concerning the safety of their leader, they were still soldiers to their cores, and when there was an order, they followed it.
With a respectable mindset like that, they veered from the original course, heading straight for the outskirts of the spatial phenomenon.
After a few weeks of interstellar travel, the Star Fleet zipped out of a wormhole. Then, out of nowhere, they were greeted with the sight of a large, dark sphere.

However, when Azmodeus saw what should be an event horizon, he instantly knew what this unknown phenomenon was…
“A black hole…”
He observed the Majesty of the galaxy-ending cosmic structure in front of him. Never would he have guessed there to be a black hole so close by.
If it were any bigger, then we might’ve had a problem on our hands. However, with the size of this one included in the picture, it should be an embryonic blackhole, not even a supermassive blackhole.
With this keen observation, he figured out that the approximate age of this blackhole was a little over 100 thousand years. And in terms of blackhole development stages, that puts it at the level of a temperamental toddler.
This was, of course, enough to put Azmodeus out of the playing field for good. But it wasn’t yet at the level to elicit maximum degrees of caution.
And Azmodeus, like the intrepid protagonist he was, decided to get a little closer to the blackhole, hoping to get a small sneak peek into one of the biggest mysteries of the universe.
FWIP!
He blink-stepped from his location, reaching the black hole in half an instant.
“Let’s see exactly what lies inside that outer black shell of yours.”
His aura shrank in the face of the pull of a black hole, but it was still powerful enough to allow him to send a few Primordial Essence Clones into the orangish event horizon.
All of the Primordial Essence Clones possessed Battle Power and bodily fortitude of the Absolute Peak Solar Dynasty Realm. It was with such sturdy physiques that they were able to survive the first layer of the blackhole.
Contrary to what one might believe, the blackhole did little to no damage to Azmodeus’s Primordial Essence Clones, as it wasn’t even able to scratch the surface of their diamond-hard skin.
However, it wasn’t the lack of visible damage that drew his attention the most; it was the view within the Black Hole…
