Seeing so many of the same things, Azmodeus immediately clicked yes for all the questions.
BLING!
The system interface flashed a few bright blue and golden lights as 100 Sextillion of all his aspects were converted into 1 of the next Tier.
After all was said and done, many improvements were made to Azmodeus’s system interface, with the most important change of all being the increases to Battle Power!
[3rd Order All-Encompassing Immortal (Middle)] → [4th Order All-Encompassing Immortal (Peak)]
Although the improvement may not have seemed like much, when it came to the All-Encompassing Immortal Realm, an advancement of one minor realm and then some was considered unbelievably exceptional!
WAaaa…
After letting the Qi around his body settle down, Azmodeus looked at the surrounding bushery and heard the faint sound of rustling. Not long after, the debonair Eximaner popped out of the bush and locked eyes with Azmodeus.
Behind the Examiner were the other four surviving participants, all of whom were also staring at Azmodeus.

Many questions surfaced in their minds when they saw him, but before getting the chance to ask those questions, the Examiner stepped forth. “It is very nice to meet you formally, Azmodeus,” he said in a respectful tone. “Now, as for how you managed to kill the Serpent-headed Shadow Bear—” before even finishing his question, he was interrupted by Azmodeus, saying:
“It was all luck.”
The Examiner’s friendly smile turned crooked. “That simply can’t be—” he attempted to say.
“Well, it is,” Azmodeus interjected. “I just wanted to stub one of the Shadow Bear’s toes, but somehow, the ground beneath it collapsed and it fell into a bottomless pit below, never to be seen again.”
Step, Step, Step.
Walking toward the Examiner and the other surviving participants, Azmodeus not once opened his eyes. “If you are going to say that I’m some sort of once in a generation genius, then you are mistaken,” he began. “I am simply someone who felt like trying something and ended up being pretty lucky. That is all.”
No response.
While at a loss for words, the Examiner just stood in place with twitching brows and a frozen smile.
It wasn’t until he remembered the main reason for his gathering of the survivors that he snapped out of his stupor and clasped Azmodeus’s shoulder as he was walking by. “Regardless of the truth concerning that matter, it is undeniable that you are one of the passing participants,” he said. “As such, you will follow the others as we head into the Empire and Omega Dome to go through the other trials.”
Appearing resistant on the outside but uncaring on the inside, Azmodeus eventually succumbed under the pressure and slumped his head. “I’ll go,” he muttered.
After the useless fiasco was over with, the Examiner put the subject of Azmodeus to the back of his mind and walked in the direction they came in. The young knight participants tagged along not long after.
However, as curiosity got the better of all of them, they whispered to the nonchalant, red-haired man walking beside them.
“Is it true you killed the Shadow Bear?” they asked.
“How strong are you to be able to kill something so strong?” they also asked. To which Azmodeus would respond with simple, “Don’t know’s” and “All luck”.
This useless chitter chatter went on for a good while, and before long, the small group had already made it out of the forest. Immediately afterwards, they headed toward the same bridge that they first met up at.
However, different from last time, they would now be traveling over the enormous bridge and to the front gates of the River Serpent Empire!
————
Directly outside the grandiose, golden, serpent-patterned gates of the River Serpent Empire.
“This, younglings, is the gate that leads to your future,” the Eximaner said with both his hands stretched out. “Follow behind me and see exactly what your future holds for you if you pass what is to come.”
“Yes, sir Examiner,” said everyone but Azmodeus.
“…”
Following from the very back, Azmodeus stayed as non-descript as possible. Eventually, this led to him absentmindedly arriving in the middle of a vast grass meadow.
For as far as the eye could see, there was the greenest of Immortal Grass, all flowing in one direction as the cool spring breeze swayed the land to and fro. The very earth itself appeared to be alive, and thumping atop these expansive, hilly plains were dragon-like monsters.
They had only two large hindlegs and two smaller, gnubby front arms. Their colors and sizes varied, but generally, they were just as large if not larger than wagons. Atop these mighty and intimidating beasts were humans, all of whom grabbed them by their reigns and rode them through the grassy plains.
“The Earth Dragons and their dragon riders,” the Examiner said with an informative tone. “In the River Serpent Empire, and specifically, the outer reaches with no roads, the Earth Dragons are a very popular mode of transport. Plus, they are in the All-Encompassing Immortal Realm at the very minimum.”
The Examiner and all the Knight Participants were riding inside of a wooden carriage, led by two of the very same Earth Dragon species. Both of them were 2nd Grade All-Encompassing Immortals, and they behaved very well under the careful control of the Examiner.
