Chapter 195: 195: If You Won’t, We Will!
The four Magic Stone Obelisks fired in unison, their purple beams of magic laser piercing deep underground. With the Spread Strike effect, the purple light quickly split into multiple beams, causing the earth to crack open violently. The ground began to erupt, and within moments, a dozen large digging serpents were forced out of the ground, each carrying NPCs in their attached chambers. The serpents were obliterated by the devastating attack.
The ground exploded with loot, and a few purple beams of light from the fallen monsters made everyone’s eyes burn with greed.
But in this critical moment, no one dared to approach the loot.
The four Magic Stone Obelisks, emitting their death rays, created an unbreakable defensive line nearly a kilometer wide. With attack points of up to 20,000 and large-scale AoE (Area of Effect) explosion damage, even elite NPCs with hundreds of thousands of HP couldn’t withstand such bombardment.
“How do we fight this? With those four obelisks just sitting there, who can even get close to attack?”
“Even with the Chaos Worms’ 2 million HP, they won’t survive this.”
The Chaos Worms, sent by Cain, were a type of giant worm. Their attack power was relatively weak at only 1,000, but they had the unique ability to burrow underground and launch surprise attacks.
“Is this all? Is this all you’ve got to show me?”
“Do you know who invented tunnel warfare? It was our ancestors! Come on, you incompetent lord, show me more!”
The members of Godslayer cheered, but Madman remained calm as ever. He ordered his subordinates to keep quiet. This was just a probing attack.
ShatteredCrown: “Still being stubborn? You’re sending more cannon fodder? Don’t they know how to play the game?”
Madman frowned as he saw Cain’s sword flick, causing twenty more Chaos Worms to burrow back underground.
“Kill!”
“Kill!”
“Faithful to the Divine Emperor, take back what belongs to us!”
At the same time, over 300 NPC cavalrymen raised their shields and charged, while their other hands gripped enchanted crossbows. These light-armored cavalry moved quickly, splitting into small groups of ten to attack in a highly dispersed formation.
Bradley’s face changed as he whispered, “This is trouble. Crossbow cavalry. They specialize in guerilla tactics.”
Madman muttered, “These NPCs are pretty smart. They’ve figured out the Obelisks’ weak spots.”
Meanwhile, SSR and other guilds remained on standby. Wedge, silently counting in her mind, muttered, “4, 3, 2… A weak point! After each round of attacks, the Obelisks need about 15 seconds to recharge!”
Upon hearing this, SSR’s members perked up.
The NPC army started to spread out, clearly knowing the Obelisks’ cooldown time. They planned to send small forces to scatter the Obelisk’s firepower so that their main forces could get close enough to attack.
Suddenly, a black-clad NPC appeared, his killing intent radiating from his eyes. In his hands, a silver crossbow gleamed, and from 700 meters away, he aimed at the Bone Dragon Stronghold.
“Watch out, level 40 boss!” Madman yelled, his voice booming.
Storm Barrage!
A gray crossbow bolt exploded mid-air, splitting into dozens of glowing rays that rained down on the tightly packed Godslayer army.
Moonlight Guild Knight Order!
Empress raised her dragon-engraved shield, positioning herself at the front. Her shout rang out, “Shield up… Hooah!”
With a raspy battle cry, she rallied every knight in the Moonlight Guild, their hearts pounding with adrenaline. Empress was the spiritual leader of the guild, drawing many knight players to her side. Each knight moved without fear, only the fire of battle burning in their chests.
“Hooah!”

Clang! Clang! Clang!
The knights’ synchronized movements created a thunderous rhythm as they beat their broad swords against their shields, sending waves of sound rippling through the battlefield. Their formation was flawless, and their shields began to glow with divine light, forming massive protective barriers.
The arrow storm pelted the shield wall, but not a single member of Moonlight Guild was harmed.
ShatteredCrown: “What execution… That’s insane.”
Ultimate Sweetheart: “I didn’t know that skill had such a large coverage area. Protecting people is such a hassle.”
Madman glanced back at God of Iron Cavalry, who was casually picking his nose. “Damn it. The Godslayer knights’ leader is just sitting there eating boogers! Learn from these guys, kid!”
Iron Cavalry: “Damn it, it’s just a skill that was tossed out. If they die, so be it, the priest will just revive them, and we’ll get back to business.”
Ride Donkey: “Exactly! In this situation, anyone who dies is an idiot. If you don’t like it, come and solo me!”
Madman’s head nearly exploded with veins popping. Looking at the other guilds, he knew Godslayer was the rare guild that focused on pure defense/health knights. Most guilds, even the strongest ones, mixed offense and defense. They didn’t usually want to show off their tanks unless necessary.
The cavalry and archers surged forward, moving in a blur. The Obelisks fired again, their devastating beams targeting the cavalry, but…
“Damn! These things can shoot right past them!”
“These NPCs are too smart. They even use the Chaos Worms to block the damage.”
The controlling players of the Obelisks cursed as the Chaos Worms emerged once more, their massive bodies absorbing the deadly crossbow bolts, protecting the NPC cavalry.
The Chaos Worms carried more NPC foot soldiers, who immediately charged into battle, making a beeline for the Bone Dragon Stronghold, now only 500 meters away.
“Dragon Cavalry! Kill!”
Cain, with a haughty expression, commanded the Dragon Cavalry, and over 100 dragons screeched as they charged into the fray.
“Earth Dragon Corps! Kill!”
Cain raised his sword again, and 300 Earth Dragons surged forth like a small mountain range.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
NPC archers began free-firing arrows, creating a wave of arrows that rushed like a swarm of hornets. Because the fire was too dispersed, the Moonlight Guild knights couldn’t cover every angle, and several players were struck down.
“Priests, heal!”
Madman furrowed his brow and grumbled, “Switch the Obelisks to Cluster Mode, and deal with these annoying ranged units!”
The purple Obelisks fired again, this time sending four destruction spheres into the air. They exploded mid-air, spreading out in an ‘X’ shape and instantly wiping out nearly half the enemy archers.
But in the midst of this chaos, the Chaos Worms broke through the ground, and thousands of elite NPC foot soldiers surged forward, taking advantage of the Obelisks’ brief cooling period.
Reaver: “The NPCs are pushing through. Should we charge?”
SSR’s members sensed an opportunity, but Wedge quickly shook her head and said, “Let’s wait a little longer. Be patient.”
DonutWizard: “Still waiting? With all these dragons, even with the Magic Stone Obelisks, the Godslayer army won’t hold up!”
Some players were puzzled, wondering why Wedge was being so cautious.
“Who the hell are all these people? Did every guild in the area just show up to the fight?” DonutWizard asked, turning his head to see more guilds arriving.
At the foot of the hill, the battlefield was flooded with people—at least sixty guilds with their main combatants, totaling an astonishing 50,000 to 60,000 players!
Sky Wolf-Black Moon: “SSR, step aside. You won’t take this fight. Others will!”
Rattlesnake Infinite: “I admire Orgod, but that doesn’t mean I’ll pass up the opportunity to take down a helpless target. If SSR won’t fight, we will!”
These two guilds were not as famous as others but had strong battle capabilities, ranking in the T2 tier for the US region.
Reaver: “Not willing to fight? Where were you two last time during the base battle? Don’t talk like you’re better than us.”
The two guild leaders were clearly annoyed. They had no problem taking advantage of SSR’s hesitation. However, only a few guilds were brave enough to challenge Godslayer head-on, and SSR was one of them.
Wedge calmly gestured for the two guild leaders to move forward. Sky Wolf-Black Moon nodded in approval and shouted to his troops, “Infinite Dimensions, anything is possible! To Celestial Fortress, let’s go!”
Kill!
Two large guilds surged toward the battlefield, attacking the Bone Dragon Stronghold from the side.
Absolute Kid: “Holy crap, how many people hate us? So many.”
Madman’s face darkened as he noticed the new threat from the other side. “Nightshade, it’s time.”
Nightshade grinned and gave a hand signal to his team.
“Make way, or I’ll puke from the smell!”
Players in the way quickly covered their noses and
cleared a path.
Clank! Clank!
The sound of rusted gears echoed loudly as three massive, battered bronze warships slowly emerged from the shadows. They exhaled a sickly green mist, accompanied by an unbearable stench.
Sky Wolf-Black Moon: “What… What the hell is that? A magic battleship?”
The Sky Wolf Guild members stood frozen, unsure how to respond. What they thought was a strange object was rapidly closing in on them, its strange sounds and eerie calls filling the air.
“Wow-ga!”
“Summon the King of Wow-ga!”
“Time to blow things up…”
