Chapter 369: 369: “Touch and You Die!”
“This is getting ridiculous! Even if Orgod has three heads and six arms, he’ll still end up kneeling here today!”
“With so many dragons… if I can just kill one, wouldn’t I make a fortune?”
“You’re dreaming! You think you can beat any of these bosses? The weakest of them seems to be a level 60 elite boss!”
A million players in the area erupted into excitement, each one with their own thoughts and plans.
Some wanted to see Orgod run with his tail between his legs, while others thought they could take advantage of the situation and make a fortune by killing a dragon or two.
However, when the dragons drew closer, the sheer size and strength of their health bars sent chills down everyone’s spine.
Undoubtedly, defeating any of these dragons with individual strength seemed almost impossible, even the mixed-blood dragons were tough opponents.
But the oldest MMO strategy was deeply ingrained, especially among US players.
As long as the target has a health bar, whether it’s red or black, no matter how strong it is, it would be torn to pieces.
“To make them perish, you must first drive them mad! Orson, let’s see how you finish this!”
DonutWizard laughed maniacally, feeling that the bastard who had drawn the wrath of everyone was finally getting what he deserved.
“Shut up, I don’t mind killing you with two swords right now.”
Bradley glared at DonutWizard coldly, his killing intent obvious.
“Why bother dealing with small fry? Losers will always be losers, utterly defeated.”
Orson waved his hand, stopping Bradley, and smiled at Wedge and his group.
“Orgod, I must respectfully disagree with you,” Wedge said with a calm smile, his former brash confidence now replaced by a more composed demeanor. “If losers are always losers, you should be hiding in some dark rented room, living a miserable, cowardly life.”
Orson raised an eyebrow, briefly glancing at Wedge before losing interest.
“Ah, so you’re the mascot of the SSR guild? Apologies, I didn’t notice you.”
Orson said nonchalantly, his gaze lingering only for a moment before moving away.
Wedge’s expression turned cold, a shiver ran through her.
In just a few short months, she realized that someone she used to be able to toy with was now capable of completely ignoring her.
It was a disregard from a whole different level.
Once, she had been the darling of capital, with players constantly following her in-game, but Orson treated her like a noob fresh out of the tutorial village.
That felt worse than losing a thousand times.
“You bastard! What are you being so arrogant about?”
Wedge’s top lackey growled, furious on her behalf.
“Am I being arrogant?”
Orson asked innocently, shrugging.
“Haha, you’re right. He’s not being arrogant at all.”
Bradley laughed uncontrollably, holding an unsealed Artifact, with the Crimson Lizard King, who had just devoured the Golden Dragon, perched atop him.

As the number one player in Infinite Dimensions, he had incited the fury of the entire dragon race.
He was truly humble!
DonutWizard, furious, glared at Orson. He couldn’t stand seeing his beloved Wedge in this position, reduced to nothing.
His eyes turned red with fury, and he sneered venomously, “Orson, don’t push me. Don’t forget you have a sister…”
Alexander frowned, immediately stepping between Orson and DonutWizard, awkwardly laughing, “Sorry, Orgod. Annly is just a kid, he didn’t mean what he said. I’ll make sure to teach him properly.”
Alexander, from the Lambert family, had heard about Orson’s deeds. Thanks to rumors of real-world impact, Orson’s influence had long surpassed the game itself.
And his sister, Sienna, was Orson’s Achilles’ heel.
“Touch her, and it’ll be the last thing you do!”
Orson’s eyes gleamed with a deadly chill, his tone cold as ice, “Are you threatening me?”
“What if I am? It’s just a game. What can you do to me in the real world?”
DonutWizard laughed disdainfully, his eyes full of hatred. He would do anything to protect Wedge.
“Awakened Hurricane Spear!”
Orson snorted coldly, not giving DonutWizard a chance to react. A streak of green light tore through the air, and DonutWizard was instantly reduced to a bloody mist.
“Shit! An S-level fire mage just got wiped out in an instant?”
“His casting speed is insane! The projectile was so fast you couldn’t even see it. Who dares mess with him?!”
The crowd gasped. They had thought DonutWizard would last at least a couple of rounds, but instead, he was killed without a hint of suspense.
“No matter if you’re an esports genius or a rich kid in the real world, I can make you disappear in both worlds!”
Orson’s voice was dripping with murderous intent, and his words made the guild leaders around him shiver.
“Annly!”
Wedge’s face went cold, and her fists clenched tightly.
At her lowest point, DonutWizard had been there for her.
But watching him be killed in front of her made her blood boil.
Wedge gritted her teeth, and in a flash, a strange short sword appeared in her hand.
Alexander frowned, shaking his head at Wedge.
Then, turning to Orson, he apologetically said, “I’m so sorry, Orgod. He’s just my distant cousin, and he said something he shouldn’t have. I’ll make sure he’s properly disciplined.”
Wedge took a deep breath and stored the short sword, which was no longer in her hand.
“Could it be that item?”
Orson’s gaze sharpened. Although he couldn’t fully check the short sword’s stats, he had seen the symbol of the weapon in the past, during his exploration of ancient ruins.
According to the murals, at the dawn of the era, the top human artisans, the “Slaughter Artisans,” had forged twenty-four “Slaughter Artifacts” in an attempt to assassinate the Twelve Primordial Titans.
But when they finally found the Titans, they discovered that all the Primordial Titans had already fallen.
These “Slaughter Artifacts” had slowly disappeared into the mists of Infinite Dimensions history.
Now, Wedge seemed to possess one of them.
The short sword in her hand was called the Soul-Breaking Short Sword.
It was a Legendary broken The Divine Item, rumored to curse anyone it pierced, reducing their level to 1 temporarily.
Of the twenty-four Slaughter Artifacts, twelve were Soul-Breaking Short Swords, while the other twelve were Seal-Breaking Short Swords.
The Seal-Breaking Short Sword could crush any Supreme Law of a target and seal their skills.
Two sets of short swords, when brought together, formed the God-Slaying Sword, capable of even slaying gods.
Orson had always thought these were just legends in Infinite Dimensions, and no one had ever found them. But now, seeing something like this in Wedge’s hands, he was genuinely shocked.
“I see you’ve got your hands full now. I’ll leave you to your grind.”
Alexander nodded at Orson, summoning the Ghost-Faced Dragon Lion and preparing to leave with Wedge.
“I respect you as a talent from the Lambert family, and I’ll give you face,” Orson said with a faint smile.
Alexander sighed with relief. Orson’s overwhelming presence made him feel on edge, but his determination remained strong.
He believed in his sword, in the effort he had poured into it. One day, he was confident he could reach Orson’s level, and beyond the world of Infinite Dimensions.
“Wait, I said you can leave, but I didn’t say she can leave.”
