Chapter 307: Chapter 305: Taming class
Sion rushed forward with a sharp jab. He smirked—he thought he had Nathan this time.
But suddenly, Nathan twisted his body and spun low, sweeping Sion’s legs. Sion jumped to avoid it, but Nathan stood fast and gave a quick punch toward Sion’s chest.
RIP!
Sion’s long sleeve tore open, revealing something unexpected—his whole arm was covered in a dark, swirling tattoo.
Gasps came from the watching students.
Sion froze for a second, then looked down. His eyes grew angry. “Tch…”
That’s when the professor shouted, “Stop! That’s enough!”
Nathan lowered his fists and stepped back. He looked at Sion with a small smirk and slowly turned around, ready to walk away.
But Sion wasn’t done.
His anger boiled. His fists clenched. He suddenly charged toward Nathan’s back, fast and silent.
“Watch out!” someone shouted.
The professor’s eyes widened. “Sion, stop!”
Nathan started to turn but was too late.
Then—
WHAM!
Elshienne appeared out of nowhere, stepping between them in a flash. She kicked Sion right in the stomach with a clean, powerful strike.
Sion’s breath left his body as he fell back hard onto the ground.
“Ugh!” he groaned, holding his stomach.
The professor ran over quickly to check on him.
The wind blew gently across the training field, and Elshienne’s short black hair waved through the air as she stood tall in front of him.
She stared down at Sion, her voice calm but firm. “Attacking from behind… that’s not how a real fighter should act. That’s not what a person should do.”
Sion didn’t speak. His breathing was heavy. Her words hit him harder than the kick.
Elshienne continued, her tone softer now but still serious, “If you lose, you stand up and try again next time. But you don’t cheat. That path only leads you lower.”
Nathan blinked, surprised, then looked at his sister and gave a small smile.
Sion groaned again and looked away, his jaw tight. He didn’t say sorry, but something in his face changed. Like he realized something.
Nathan walked up beside his sister. “Let’s go,” he said quietly.
Elshienne nodded and turned, her hair brushing her cheek with the breeze as she walked away with Nathan.
The professor sighed and looked at Sion. “Think about what you almost did.”
The professor stood and looked at the students. “Class dismissed for today. Help him up. No more fights like this.”

Elshienne crossed her arms and walked back to Nathan. “Hmph. Some people really don’t know how to lose.”
The training field buzzed with whispers and murmurs after the intense spar.
“Did you see that?””She stepped up so fast!””That’s the Hamilton for you—they’ve always got each other’s back.”
“Dang! She’s hot! Did you see that kick? Lucky she’s always near Nathan. So cool and hot!”
Near the edge of the field, Jin-hyu looked at his friend Minseok, who was completely frozen, staring in awe. Jin-hyu clapped his hands in front of his face.
“Hey! You good?”
Minseok blinked, then smiled dreamily. “Did you see that?! That was so cool! She just—bam! Right in the stomach!”
Hannah rolled her eyes and shook her head. “Tsk tsk tsk, he’s doing it again. How gay.”
Jin-hyu laughed while still staring at Elshienne, who was walking away with Nathan and Nayoung. Nayoung looked annoyed, arms crossed, but Jin-hyu could see how proud she was. Deep inside, he was amazed too.
Then Hannah tugged on Minseok’s sleeve. “Come on, we’re going back. We have a new professor today, remember?”
“Oh—right!” Minseok said, still half in a daze as he followed her.
Minseok and Hannah turned toward their building as the crowd slowly started to calm down.
“See you after class, Jin-hyu!” Hannah called out with a wave.
“Yeah, don’t get left behind again!” Minseok added with a grin, still full of energy from the earlier excitement.
“Got it!” Jin-hyu replied, waving back.
As the two walked away, students around them were still murmuring.
“That fight was insane…””Elshienne’s kick was wild.””Sion didn’t even see it coming.””Bet he won’t mess with Nathan again.”
But not everyone was impressed.
“Tch. They’re just unawakened,” one boy said, crossing his arms.
“Yeah. Doesn’t matter how fast or strong they are. No mana, no real power,” another added.
“They won’t last once real awakened fights start,” a third one muttered.
Minseok and Hannah back to their class sat in their seats, chatting as they waited for the class to start. The air was filled with excitement after what had happened in the field earlier that day, but now they were back in class, ready to focus.
At that moment, the door opened, and their professor walked in. Everyone immediately sat up straight and greeted the professor.
“Good afternoon, class,” the professor said, setting his things on the desk.
“Good afternoon, professor!” the students responded in unison.
The professor took a deep breath, looking at the class with a slight smile.
“I have an important announcement,” the professor continued, causing the room to quiet down. “As you know, there’s been talk about a new class being introduced here at the academy. Today, I’m pleased to introduce the new professor who will be in charge of the ‘Taming Class’.”
At the mention of the “Taming” class, some students immediately exchanged skeptical glances and chuckled.
“Taming? That’s the weakest class, right?” one student muttered, not bothering to keep his voice low. “What are we supposed to do, tame a couple of birds?”
Another student laughed. “Yeah, isn’t that what Jin Hyu does? He’s the only Tamer in our class, and he can barely tame anything but birds. What’s the point?”
Jin Hyu’s face flushed, and he tried to ignore the teasing, but it was clear he didn’t like being the subject of their jokes.
One more student added, “Seriously, taming sounds so useless. What do we need that for? I’d rather learn how to fight.”
The professor, still standing at the front, sighed as the murmurs spread through the room.
“You might think that now,” he said calmly, his voice cutting through the chatter. “But you’ll understand soon enough. Taming is not what you think it is. It’s not just about controlling animals—it’s about learning to work with creatures in a way that no one else can. It’s an essential skill that will benefit everyone, whether you’re a fighter or not.”
“Now, let me introduce you to the new professor who will be leading this class,” the professor continued, motioning toward the door.
As the murmurs spread across the classroom, the door opened, and a tall, serious-looking man entered. The students immediately stopped talking, their eyes widening in surprise. The man didn’t seem to have the usual air of an older professor; instead, he looked to be about the same age as some of the students in the class.
The professor at the front of the room cleared his throat to bring the attention back to him. “Class, this is Professor Han Ji Hoon, your new instructor for the Taming class.”
A few students exchanged stunned glances, whispering under their breath. “Wait, he looks like he’s our age…”
Minseok and Hannah exchanged a shocked glance. Their eyes widened in surprise as they muttered to each other under their breath.
“Master…?”
