Chapter 318: Chapter 316: Transcendent Mentor skills
Seojun’s eyebrows frowned as the system message floated in front of him.
“What is this? A hidden profession?” he muttered.
[Oh oh! A hidden profession, host! This is big! Congrats!]
Just then, Yoora stood up from her seat with her arms crossed.
“Hey, Professor! What’s the delay?” she asked, sounding annoyed. Seojun didn’t answer right away. He was still looking at the system screen.
[Host, you can ignore many things, but not this. You need to check it. Now.]
Seojun sighed deeply and looked at the students.
“Something came up. Go and tour around the area for now. Sui will guide you.”
“What?!” Yoora’s voice rose. “That ‘something’ is more important than us?! And you’re leaving us with a slime?!”
Hannah quickly stood and tried to calm her.
“Yoora, maybe it’s really important. Let’s not get upset.”
“Yeah,” Minseok added. “We’re just getting started. Let’s trust him a little.”
But Yoora stepped forward, clearly not satisfied. “No! What’s more important than your students?!”
Seojun stared at her for a moment. Then he said in a cold voice, “How stubborn.”
He raised a finger. “Huno.”
The ground trembled.
A large magic circle appeared behind them, glowing faint blue. Then—BOOM—a giant three-headed dog appeared, big enough to fill half the classroom.
The three students fell back in surprise.
“W-what is that?!” Hannah shouted.
The dog had three black heads with glowing eyes. Its body was covered in dark fur, and chains wrapped around its legs like armor.
“I don’t have time to deal with you,” Seojun said, turning away. “Huno, handle them.”
“KYUU KYUU! Brother, please shrink!” Sui flew over and waved his small arms. “Kyuu! They’re scared!”
Huno growled deeply, lowering one of his heads to Yoora’s level.
“You dare annoy our master?” he said in a low, threatening voice.
Yoora stepped back, clearly shaken.
“Y-you’re… a Monster?” she said, her voice soft now.
Huno’s middle head barked. “I am Huno, Beast of my Lord . Do not raise your voice at him again!”
Seojun walked out the door without looking back. Yoora was frozen. Hannah gently grabbed her arm.
“Yoora… maybe we should listen next time.”

Minseok nodded quickly. “Yeah… let’s just follow Sui.”
Sui, bouncing with a worried look, waved.
“Kyuu~ follow me! I’ll show you the flower garden! kyuu sorry about Brother huno! he’s actually very sweet kyuu!”
The three students slowly stood up, still shaken from Huno’s presence. They followed Sui quietly, none of them speaking.
Yoora didn’t say a word, but her mind was full of thoughts.
“What kind of professor is he…?”
*****
Seojun didn’t wait. Right after calling Huno, he disappeared. In a blink, he appeared at the rooftop of the building.
It was quiet up there. A soft breeze blew past him.
There was a simple black chair and a small round table in the middle of the rooftop. Seojun sat down slowly, leaning back with a tired sigh.
The system screen appeared again in front of him.

[Host! The first skill is perfect! You can finally train them properly—without breaking them!]
Seojun closed his eyes for a second and nodded slowly. “Abyss energy isn’t something outsiders can handle… but with this Ethereal Training Ground skill, I can bring them there safely.”
Just then, a voice called out from the air. “Seojun!”
He looked up. His eyes narrowed slightly, recognizing the familiar tone.
“Zyraena?” he said.
From a golden light, a small floating figure appeared—a glowing orb.
“What is this?! You’re a professor now?” Zyraena said, flying in circles around his head. “How about finding Huno’s siblings?! You promised that first! We have a deal!”
Seojun sighed and looked at the glowing figure.
“System,” he said flatly, “didn’t I tell you to cut her connection?”
[Well, uh… she begged. She really begged hard. So… yeah, I let her. Hehee~] the system admitted sheepishly.
Zyraena flared brighter.
“You have a mission! Please don’t take on more burdens! You are already carrying so much!”
Seojun leaned back in the chair and looked up at the sky.
“…Right now, it’s impossible to find Huno’s siblings,” he said calmly. “Their traces are too faint… or maybe blocked.”
[About that… actually, Zyarena they are currently undetectable. But I do feel something.]
“What?! Are you sure undetectable?! then how can we found the two?!” Zyraena asked.
[They’re coming to Host that’s why we stop looking.]
