Chapter 336: Chapter 334: Strength born from struggle is sometimes the most unbreakable
On the stage, Alexa grinned playfully at Sani. “Look what you did,” she teased.
Sani just laughed softly, her smile never fading.
Alex crossed his arms with a smug grin. “Told you, bringing Sani here would help calm the students. Look, they already forgot what happened.”
Alexa rolled her eyes. “You really know how to play your cards, huh? Aren’t you enjoying this a bit too much?”
Alex laughed. “Hey, it’s not like that. Sani’s presence really does calm anyone who’s around her. It’s like magic.”
Sani chuckled and shook her head. “Stop teasing your brother, Alexa.”
Before Alexa could reply, the dean cleared his throat loudly, catching their attention. Sani immediately turned and bowed respectfully. “Good afternoon, Dean. Thank you for inviting me,” she said with a bright smile.
The dean waved his hands nervously. “Oh no, it should be us thanking you! We’re really glad you came. We truly need your help right now.”
Sani just smiled warmly. “I’m happy to help in any way I can.”
Later on they left the gym and entered the dean’s office and sat down. One of the professors quickly came in with a tray, serving tea to everyone. When he handed the cup to Lady Sani, he smiled nervously. Lady Sani returned the smile, and his face immediately turned red before he hurriedly excused himself.
The dean cleared his throat and spoke first. “Thank you again for coming, Lady Sani. I know you’re incredibly busy, and I truly appreciate you taking the time to be here.”
Lady Sani shook her head gently. “No, it’s me who should apologize. We’ve talked before about me blessing the White Moon Academy, but I’m really sorry that only now I was able to come.”
Alexa took a sip of her tea and chimed in, “Well, it’s understandable. You’re the only Saint of Korea. You must be really tired.”
Lady Sani smiled warmly as she looked down at her tea. “Thank you for understanding.”
The dean leaned forward, curiosity in his eyes. “Have you ever thought about training others to become Saints? I mean… with how important you are, it would be good to have more people like you.”
Lady Sani sighed softly. “I would love to, but finding someone with pure and strong enough mana is very rare. It’s not something I can simply teach. It has to be in them.”
The dean nodded thoughtfully. “Well, while you’re here, maybe you can keep an eye out. Who knows? You might find someone with potential.”
Lady Sani’s eyes brightened a little. “Thank you. I’ll do my best.” She then straightened her back and asked, “Now, may I know what the situation is?”
Alexa set her cup down and began explaining. “It’s the Siphon Wraith. It’s already here, and we need your help to purify the area. We were thinking of creating a pillar of light—a purification barrier that can cleanse the influence and stop the spreading.”
“I’ll prepare it right away.”
The dean’s eyes sparkled with hope. “Thank you, Lady Sani. We’re counting on you.”
Lady Sani smiled gently. “I can make one right now.”
The dean’s eyes widened in surprise. “Is it okay, Lady Sani? Didn’t you just get back from Jeju? What about tomorrow?”
Sani shook her head slowly. “I’m fine. I can do it today. Besides, I’d like to see more of this place.”
Alexa grinned. “Well, if you want, we can also tour you around.”
Lady Sani stood up gracefully, followed by Alex and Alexa. The dean, clearly excited, also stood up as if planning to join them, but Alexa quickly stopped him. “Ah ah, nope, Dean.”
The dean’s face fell. “Please don’t be distracted because of me, Dean.”
The dean sighed and smiled reluctantly. “Well… I understand. Enjoy the tour, Lady Sani. I really wish I could come, but I have something else to do.”
Lady Sani bowed slightly. “Thank you, Dean.”
They stepped out of the office, the sunlight shining brightly on the academy grounds. Alex, who had been oddly quiet for a while, finally spoke up. “Where should we put the pillar?” He looked around thoughtfully.

“My my, Alex is feeling awkward. It’s your fault, Sani,” Alexa teased, nudging him playfully.
Lady Sani chuckled softly. Alex scratched the back of his head. “I’m just taking advantage of Lady Sani’s presence to rest for a while.”
They all laughed, but soon their expressions turned serious. It was time to get back to what they should do.
Lady Sani’s gaze settled on the entrance gate. “The first pillar should be placed here,” she said calmly.
They made their way to the entrance gate. Lady Sani stepped forward, her posture elegant and composed. She brought her hands together, palms pressed against each other, fingers pointing upward like she was praying. Her eyes closed, and she began to chant softly, her voice flowing like a gentle prayer:
“O Great Goddess of Light, Guardian of Purity, Cleanse this land with your sacred might. Let your light shine and barriers rise, Protect this place beneath your skies. By your grace, may evil flee, This pillar stands by your decree.”
A soft light began to shimmer between her hands, growing brighter and more radiant. The ground beneath her feet glowed with golden patterns, spiraling outwards like roots spreading across the stone path.
A beam of light shot up from her hands into the sky, stretching high above the gate. The light solidified, turning into a magnificent pillar, translucent with swirling golden energy inside. It pulsed rhythmically, releasing waves of warmth and calmness around them.
The air felt lighter, and the atmosphere cleared. Even the breeze that passed through the gate seemed fresher, as if purified by the pillar’s presence.
Alexa watched in awe, eyes wide with admiration. “This skill… it’s always amazing to watch.”
Alex crossed his arms, nodding in agreement. “Yeah… no matter how many times I see it, it never gets old. That’s real divine power.”
Alex and Alexa looked back down after admiring the pillar, only for Alexa to suddenly jump back, startled. “What the heck, Seojun?!” she exclaimed, eyes wide.
Seojun stood calmly in front of Lady Sani, his eyes studying her. “The power… it came from you,” he muttered, his gaze sharp and focused.
Lady Sani was visibly startled but quickly recovered, a gentle smile spreading across her face. “You… you teleported,” she noted, tilting her head slightly. “So, you must be the mysterious S-Ranker I’ve been hearing about.”
Alexa smacked Seojun’s shoulder hard. “Stop doing that! What if someone sees you, idiot!” she scolded, her brows furrowing.
Alex chuckled, shaking his head as he walked over to Sani’s side. He leaned in and whispered quietly, “What do you think of his mana? Is he on par with you?”
Lady Sani’s eyes lingered on Seojun for a moment before she replied, her voice soft but clear. “He has… far more mana than I expected,” she admitted. “When you first told me about him, I was curious. But now, seeing him with my own eyes… he’s truly amazing. His mana is dense, like it’s been refined over centuries. It’s… unyielding.”
Alex raised an eyebrow, clearly impressed. “Then he must be a saint too,” he joked, giving Seojun a sly grin.
Lady Sani immediately shook her head, her expression turning serious. “No,” she said firmly. “To be a Saint, one must have pure mana…His mana tainted… it’s powerful, yes, but it’s… heavy. Like it’s been through countless battles. It’s not the kind that a Saint would possess.”
Alexa glanced at Seojun, surprised by the statement. “Is that… a bad thing?” she asked carefully.
Sani shook her head with a smile. “Not at all. In fact, it’s probably why he’s so strong. Strength born from struggle is sometimes the most unbreakable.”
