Chapter 405: Chapter 403: Final Evolution
Yoora blinked, still watching the field where Nayoung stood catching her breath, the giant scissors resting on her shoulder.
“I didn’t know that was possible…” she muttered, her brows furrowed.
Minseok turned his head, grinning. “Nayoung is amazing, right?”
But Yoora shook her head and quietly summoned her weapon—silver chains wrapped around her arm, glowing faintly with mana.
“I don’t mean her skill,” she said. “I mean… teleporting. When Nayoung threw her weapon, she didn’t run to catch it. She teleported to it.”
“Teleported?!” the others exclaimed, turning to Yoora in surprise.
Yoora nodded slowly, her eyes still on Nayoung. “Yeah. No one moves that fast without leaving mana traces in the air except Prof. But I didn’t sense any wind pressure around her steps. One moment she was there, then the next—gone. That’s teleportation.”
Elshienne’s mouth opened slightly. “But… isn’t that impossible with a mana weapon? Aren’t they bound by range?”
“Exactly,” Yoora said, her voice serious. “Our mana weapons have a fixed link to us. We can only go so far from them before they disappear or return. If Nayoung left the range, her weapon should’ve vanished.”
“Then how did she…?” Jinhyu trailed off.
“She didn’t teleport away from her weapon,” Yoora said. “She teleported with it. Her scissors didn’t vanish, which means she either extended the link somehow or fused herself with the weapon’s mana for a second. That’s incredibly hard.”
“Wait… is that even a skill? Or is it a mutation?” Minseok asked.
“It might be her unique trait,” Hannah said. “Some awakeners develop strange personal abilities that don’t follow normal rules. Maybe that’s Nayoung’s.”
Yoora’s eyes narrowed slightly. “Whatever it is… that level of synchronization with her weapon is rare. Most wielders can barely throw their weapons and keep control. She threw hers, then appeared right where it was going to land—without disrupting its mana.”
Everyone fell silent for a moment, watching Nayoung cheerfully twirling her massive scissors again, as if she hadn’t just stunned them all.
Then Minseok whistled. “Now I’m really glad I didn’t pick a fight with her.”
“Same,” Jinhyu muttered, patting his own chest. “Real smart choice there, Nathan.”
But Nathan didn’t respond. He was still watching quietly, eyes thoughtful.
The ground suddenly shook. A soft rumble turned into a full-blown tremor, causing loose stones to jump and the grass to ripple like waves. Everyone tensed.
In the middle of it, Nayoung lunged at Seojun again, her giant scissors slashing with power—but in a blink, Seojun caught the blade with his bare hand. Just one hand.
“W-What?!” Nayoung gasped, stunned. “You can stop my weapon with your hand all this time?! I’m… I’m offended, Professor!”
Seojun didn’t answer the tease. His calm voice came through instead, “Let’s stop here.”
He looked up toward the sky. “We have a visitor.”
Hannah blinked and looked around, the shaking still ongoing. “Professor, what’s going on? The whole place is trembling.”
Instead of answering, Seojun snapped his fingers. A ripple tore through the air like glass shattering, and a moment later, a woman appeared in front of them.
Her presence was overwhelming.
The students stepped back in shock.
She was beautiful—almost unreal. Tall, with pale flawless skin, long white hair flowing like silk andRed stunning eyes. From the top of her head, two fluffy white ears stood proud. Behind her, nine white fox-like tails slowly moved in the wind and she also have a blue diamond crystal in her forehead. She wore elegant clothes that shaped perfectly to her body.
“I’m sorry for insisting, Master,” she said, kneeling slightly to Seojun.
Seojun nodded. “You’ll be helping them anyway. Go ahead. Introduce yourself.”

Nayoung looked around and whispered, “Who… who is she?”
“I’ve never seen anything like her…” Elshienne added.
The woman straightened and stepped forward, her expression calm and cold. She was breathtaking and terrifying at the same time.
“I am Nymira,” she said in a smooth voice. “I am Master’s familiar.”
The students’ eyes widened.
“A human familiar?!” Minseok blurted out.
Yoora frowned, “Hey, Professor, isn’t that too much? Half-human is still human… making one your familiar?”
But the moment Yoora spoke, Nymira turned to her. Just a stare—cold and sharp. Yoora stepped back without thinking.
Then Seojun sighed. “Nymira is not human. Why don’t you explain it properly?”
“Yes, Master,” Nymira said, bowing again.
“I am not a human. I am a hybrid—half Fenrir, half Fox. I’ve achieved my final evolution and gained the right to take human form.”
“Final… evolution?” Jinhyu repeated, confused.
“Yes,” Nymira replied. “In beastkind, few of us gain true intelligence and form. It is a rare path…”
Hannah leaned close to Nayoung and whispered, “She’s… insanely strong. I can feel her mana from here.”
“She’s like a boss monster that talks,” Minseok whispered back.
Nathan and Sion said nothing, their eyes fixed on Nymira with clear caution.
Seojun looked at the group. “Nymira will be joining the class for now. She’ll assist in training.”
“W-Wait, we’re training with her?!” Nayoung said, eyes wide.
“She won’t fight seriously,” Seojun said, “Probably.”
Nymira’s cold voice echoed softly. “I will go easy. Maybe.”
Everyone gulped, A new level of training had just begun.
Seojun looked at them. “Nymira wished to understand humans more. She insisted on helping with my class, so I will register her as a student. We’ll speak with the dean. For now, go rest.”
Before anyone could ask more questions, Seojun and Nymira both disappeared in a flash of light.
The moment they vanished, Nayoung shouted with bright eyes, “Amazing! So a beast can become a human?! I can’t wait to tame a familiar and make it become human too!”
“I think that’s impossible,” Yoora said, crossing her arms.
“Ehh?! Why?!!” Nayoung whined, puffing her cheeks.
Hannah joined in, her voice thoughtful. “Ms. Nymira’s level is not normal. I can feel it… she’s on the level of a god. She’s very different from other beasts. To reach her form, our beasts would need to go through years of harsh training and maybe even fight for their lives.”
Everyone grew quiet for a moment, then slowly nodded, realizing just how far Nymira was from their level.
Nayoung pouted again and crossed her arms. “Still… I’ll try.”
Meanwhile, Elshienne leaned toward Nathan and nudged him lightly. “Did you know?”
Nathan shook his head. “I had no idea.”
Elshienne whispered again, “Do you think Huno and Silla could have human forms too?”
Nathan didn’t answer. He stared ahead quietly, thinking deeply.
Just then, Sion’s voice came from behind them, sharp and curious. “You know her?”
Elshienne flinched. Her back stiffened and her eyes widened a bit. She turned with a forced smile, waving her hand quickly. “N-No! I don’t! I just… she looked familiar, that’s all!”
Sion stared at her suspiciously but didn’t press. He simply raised a brow and muttered, “Fishy.”
Nathan glanced at Elshienne briefly but said nothing, choosing to stay quiet like always.
