Chapter 406: Chapter 404: Welcome to White Moon Academy
With a soft blink of light, Seojun and Nymira arrived in the dean’s office.
Inside, The Dean was casually sipping coffee across from Alex and Alexa, who were sitting and chatting quietly. The moment the two appeared, the dean saw Nymira’s elegant and powerful presence—and spit his coffee in shock.
“Pfffftt—!!”
The coffee sprayed straight onto Alex and Alexa’s faces.
“D-Dean?!” Alex stood up, coughing and wiping his face.”My makeup!” Alexa groaned, grabbing tissues as the dean panicked.
“I-I’m sorry! So sorry!” the dean stuttered, rushing to clean up.
Alexa glared straight at Seojun. “Do you always appear like this?! You scared the dean to death!”
But before she could say more, she suddenly felt a cold shiver run down her spine. Her body stiffened. Slowly, she turned her head—and her eyes met Nymira’s.
Nymira was silently staring, her gaze sharp, dangerous, almost like a beast warning another not to step too close.
“Stop it,” Seojun said plainly.
Nymira stepped back right away and lowered her head. “I’m sorry, Master.”
Alexa blinked, still feeling the chill in her bones. Alex stood up, finally processing what he was seeing. “Wait… who is she? She’s a half-beast? Half-human?”
The dean, wiping his glasses, looked closely—and his jaw dropped.
“T-This! What a majestic being! Such balance… such grace! This is impossible! Is she… is she from the game world too?!”
Alexa, still shaken by that glare earlier, forced herself to answer. “No. We didn’t create anyone like her, Dean.”
Seojun looked at them and spoke clearly. “This is my familiar. A half-fenrir and fox. She has reached her final evolution. She wishes to understand humans. From now on, she will be one of this academy’s students.”
The dean almost tripped over himself to his desk. “Of course! It is our honor! A being like you is more than welcome!” He quickly pulled up a registration hologram. “May I know your full name, my lady?”
Before Seojun could reply, Nymira spoke calmly.
“Nymira Han.”
Alexa, sipping her coffee again, immediately spat it out a second time.
“Pfffftt—!! H-Han?!”
She coughed and wiped her mouth quickly. “Using Seojun’s surname?! I don’t think that’s a good idea—people might think—”
Her voice stopped. That chilling feeling returned. Alexa froze.
Nymira was staring again. It wasn’t loud or violent, but the pressure felt real—like being stared down by something ancient and dangerous.
Alexa’s hands trembled just a little, and she looked away, lips pressed tightly.
That feeling… it reminded her of when she met Malara, the demon girl. That same terrifying stare. That same deadly calm.
She looked down at her coffee cup and mumbled, “N-Nymira Han… alright… it’s fine.”
Seojun sighed, while the dean cheerfully finalized the form, “Nymira Han,” the dean said with a smile. “Welcome to White Moon Academy.”
Alexa stood up from her seat, brushing off the coffee stain still clinging to her blouse.
“Can we talk?” she whispered, and without waiting for a reply, she grabbed his arm and pulled him aside.

As she moved, Alexa could feel it again—that icy pressure crawling up her spine. She didn’t even have to look. She knew it was Nymira staring. That same silent warning But Alexa decided to ignore it this time, pulling Seojun a bit farther from the others.
Once they were alone in a quiet corner of the office, Alexa turned to him and lowered her voice.
“Isn’t she the cat?” she asked seriously. “The ragdoll cat you kept with you?”
Seojun nodded. “Yeah. That’s her.”
Alexa crossed her arms. “Then what are you going to say when someone asks about your surnames? She just called herself Nymira Han. That’s your last name. And—can you talk to her? About the way she looks at me? it’s not like I’m stealing you or something. She’s exactly like Malara. Tsk.”
“I can just say she’s my cousin or something,” Seojun said calmly. “And about her stare—don’t mind it. You’ll get used to it.”
Alexa gave a quick glance back toward Nymira. Nymira was still watching silently, her white tails gently swaying, golden eyes unblinking.
Alexa looked away fast and muttered under her breath, “There’s no way I’ll ever get used to her.”
Then she looked up at Seojun again. “Never mind that. You’re exposing them, Seojun. You know what will happen, right? Half-beast and half-human familiars are incredibly rare. If the public finds out, there will be people chasing after you—and her. hunters, collectors. Even the Association might get involved.”
Seojun didn’t look worried. “Nymira will soon learn how to hide her ears and tails. She’ll blend in just fine.”
“Oh, is that so?” Alexa said, not entirely convinced.
Suddenly, a voice came from right behind her.
“Are you done?”
“Wha—?!” Alexa jumped, startled. Nymira had appeared silently, standing just behind her like a ghost. Alexa’s heart skipped a beat. She could’ve sworn Nymira wasn’t even near them a second ago.
“Y-yeah,” Alexa answered quickly, stepping aside.
“We’ll be going,” Seojun said, nodding at the group still watching them from afar.
The dean waved happily. “Have fun in the academy, Miss Nymira! Explore the place! Enjoy student life!” His tone was so cheerful it made him sound ten years younger.
Then, with a blink, Seojun and Nymira disappeared from the office.
Alexa let out a long sigh and turned to the dean. “Dean, stop smiling like that. You’ll rip your face open.”
“I can’t help it!” the dean said, eyes twinkling. “She’s so beautiful! Like a goddess stepped into my office. Didn’t you see it, Alex? That glowing light behind her? Her steps were like walking through heaven!”
Alexa rolled her eyes and looked at Alex, who hadn’t said much since earlier. She saw him sneakily checking his phone.
“Wait,” Alexa narrowed her eyes. “Are you… seriously looking at her picture?”
Alex smiled sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head. “Can’t help it. She’s just… wow.”
“Really?!” the dean leaned over excitedly. “Let me see, Alex!”
Alex turned his phone toward him. “Here. Snapped it the moment she appeared. Look at that aura!”
Alexa groaned and shook her head. “She’s that pretty? Okay, fine, she’s stunning, but still… hmp.”
She folded her arms with a little pout, clearly annoyed—though deep inside, even she couldn’t deny the strange, almost divine charm surrounding Nymira Han.
