Chapter 408: Chapter 406: Divided into team
Sion stood with his hands in his pockets, “You know each other, don’t you?” he said, his voice clear, catching the attention of everyone around him.

Elshienne and Nathan glanced at him in surprise, but before they could say anything, Jinhyu asked with a confused look, “What are you talking about, Sion?”

Sion looked straight at Elshienne and Nathan before shifting his eyes to Seojun. “This Hamilton twin… They knew her. I’m sure of it. I saw how they reacted the moment Ms. Nymira introduced herself. You all paused. There was a look. You knew her already. What else are you hiding from us?”

He didn’t raise his voice, but his words hit hard, making the group go quiet.

Then Sion took a step closer and looked at Seojun with a calm but firm gaze. “What’s the use of hiding everything from us? If you’re powerful, then you probably know already if we can be trusted or not. You registered us yourself, right? That means you believe we’re trustworthy.”

His words made sense. Seojun didn’t just pick any student. He had checked them himself, their past, their nature, and whether they could keep secrets.

Before Seojun could respond, Nymira’s cold voice echoed, making the atmosphere feel heavy. “You have no right to question Master,” she said sharply. “You will wait until he chooses to speak.”

Sion turned to her, and for a moment, their eyes locked. It was like a silent staring contest — Sion trying to hold his ground, but Nymira’s intense presence was too much. Her aura, cold and full of authority, made him flinch, and he finally looked away as he turned back to Seojun.

Then Sion continued, still frowning. “When I tried to use my phone earlier to share this information, something stopped me. There’s a restraint… I can feel it in my body. So if you already have that much control over us… what’s there to hide anymore?”

Everyone stayed silent. Even Nayoung didn’t speak this time. Hannah’s eyes moved between Seojun and Nymira, trying to read the room. Jinhyu looked lost, and Minseok scratched the back of his head, not knowing what to say.

Now all eyes were on Seojun again, waiting for his response.

Nayoung raised her hand and stepped forward, waving both arms as if trying to block the heavy mood in the air. “Okay, okay, let’s stop this for now!” she said loudly. “Too much talking, not enough action! We came here to train, didn’t we? Let’s not waste time!”

Hannah followed beside her and nodded with a serious face. “Sion, I think we should focus on training. If there’s something we don’t know, then it probably isn’t the right time yet. Professor has his reasons. Let’s trust him a little more, just like we trusted him during our lessons.”

But Sion didn’t back down with a frown still on his face. “No,” he said firmly, his voice deeper. “You don’t get it. I’m not just asking out of curiosity. I’ve decided to trust him. I’ve already decided to put my life on the line with him as our professor, as someone who’s guiding us.”

He looked at Seojun now, his gaze strong and unmoving. “That kind of trust isn’t something small. If I’m giving my life, my loyalty, then I deserve the truth. I deserve to know who I’m following… and what I’m being dragged into.”

The others went quiet again, Seojun looked at Sion for a long moment before slowly walking forward, hands in his coat pockets, When he stopped in front of Sion, his voice was low but sharp.

“You feel like you deserve to know everything?” he asked. “Then prove it.”

Sion blinked, taken aback.

Seojun’s tone remained calm, but his words were cold. “There are things in this world that are dangerous even just to know. Some truths bring nothing but fear, regret, or pain. If you really believe you deserve to carry those truths, then prove you’re strong enough to hold them.”

Sion clenched his fists. He didn’t speak right away. His face clearly showed he didn’t like being tested.

Just then, Hannah stepped forward and gently touched his arm, her voice soft and careful. “Sion,” she said, looking up at him with warm eyes,

“I know it’s hard not knowing everything. But… maybe you don’t have to know it all now. We’re still students, and we’re still learning. Maybe we should trust Professor Seojun. He hasn’t done anything to hurt us.”

Sion turned his head toward her, and for a moment, he froze. He hadn’t looked at Hannah this close before, and for some reason, now that she was standing in front of him like that—with her serious face, gentle voice, and that tiny, caring smile—his heart suddenly beat faster.

He blinked, surprised at himself, and then quickly looked away. His ears turned red, and he rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.

“A-Alright,” he said, almost stuttering. “Maybe… maybe you’re right. I’ll wait.”

Hannah smiled a little more and gave his arm a soft pat before stepping back. Sion kept his head down, not wanting anyone to see his face.

Seojun watched quietly, clearly noticing the small exchange but saying nothing. Instead, Elshienne stepped in to shift the mood.

“Tomorrow is the last day, Where are you going to find the 10th student?” she asked,

Seojun looked at her and gave a small nod. “Focus on your training. I’ll handle everything else.”

As the group started relaxing, Nymira stepped beside him and said calmly, “I want to see what they’re capable of.”

Seojun gave her a small nod. “You can do whatever you want with them,” he said with a light sigh.

Nayoung jumped up and grabbed Elshienne’s shoulders. “She’ll train us?! I can’t wait! This is gonna be epic!”

Nymira walked forward slowly, her gaze scanning over the students like a quiet judge. “Elshienne. Sion. Come here,” she said.

The two walked to her side without question. Sion still looked flustered, keeping his face turned a little away from Hannah.

Then Nymira looked at the others. “The rest of you. I will divide you.”

She pointed to Yoora, Jinhyu, and Hannah. “You three are one team.” The three nodded and looked at each other seriously.

Then she pointed to the remaining three. “Nathan, Nayoung, Minseok. You’re the second team.”

Nayoung blinked, then looked at Elshienne. “Wait… what about her?”

Nymira replied smoothly. “Elshienne and Sion will observe. They are not fully awakened yet. When they are ready, they will join the battle.”

Nayoung gave a disappointed pout and looked at Elshienne. “Aww… I wanted to fight next to you…”

Elshienne smiled. “Next time,”
