Just call me Thor - Chapter 607
Chapter 607: Go change your pants first
Behind Ares, the numerous sword servants, now in their true forms, hovered silently in the air.
Each sword servant was a top-tier weapon with SS-level potential, a dream for any blade to follow Ares, especially in this final battle.
“You all can leave now,” Ares said simply.
The trembling swords, reluctant yet obedient, transformed into streams of light and disappeared into the horizon.
Each of these nine swords carried a portion of Ares’s skills and had been refined over the years by his sword energy, significantly enhancing their quality.
Once they returned to the Forest of Truth, they would fall into dormancy, waiting for the right wielder to appear and claim them.
These SS-level weapons had the potential to evolve into SSS-level equipment, but only if their future wielders were both powerful and wealthy enough to unlock their full potential.
—
Meanwhile, on Earth, Mike had no idea what was happening in the Supreme Abyssal.
He was currently walking with Maxen, following Apollo as they strolled through the streets.
Suddenly, nine terrifying streams of sword energy shot across the sky, causing both Mike and Maxen to pale.
Mike turned to Apollo, his voice trembling slightly.
“Third bro, something’s happened.”
Apollo shook his head calmly.
“It’s fine. Don’t worry about it.”
And that was that.
Maxen and Mike exchanged glances. Maxen was still confused, but Mike quickly pieced it together.
Something had indeed happened, but there was nothing Apollo could do about it.
Apollo couldn’t intervene with the Supreme Demon God because any confrontation between them would inevitably end in a fight to the death.
The only way Apollo could stop Ares was by killing him.
But Apollo didn’t want to kill Ares—it would be troublesome and unnecessary.
As for reasoning with Ares? That was laughable.
Human Supreme Beings, including Thor, were all incredibly strong-willed. Changing their minds with words was nearly impossible.
And Ares, who specialized in swordsmanship and was the most lethal of all the Supreme Beings, was even more unyielding.
Once Ares decided on something, no one could sway him.
Considering all this, Apollo’s decision was simple: do nothing.
Mike understood. If Apollo showed up at the Supreme Abyssal now, it wouldn’t help Ares—it would only hasten his death.
The moment Apollo made any move toward the battlefield, the Supreme Demon God would immediately end his fight with Ares.
The Supreme Demon God would never risk facing two human Supreme Beings at once.
That was a scenario he couldn’t accept.

Apollo couldn’t act… but Mike could!
Mike turned to Apollo and said,
“Third bro, we’ll go handle some things first.”
With that, he pulled Maxen aside and got straight to the point.
“I’m going to find Ace.”
Maxen frowned.
“What for?”
Ace, despite his connection to Calderon, was far too weak to get involved in something of this magnitude.
Why would Mike think of him first?
Mike explained bluntly,
“That kid’s got something strange about him. I don’t know exactly what, but it’s probably related to your father.”
He paused for a moment before adding,
“I have a way to bring your father back.”
Maxen’s eyes lit up.
“I’ll go find Cedric!”
The two immediately split up, each heading off to find their targets.
—
Florida.
Michael, freshly showered and dressed after finishing his renovations, walked into a convenience store and used a $1 billion bill to buy two bottles of ice-cold cola.
He never expected that in this state, there would be so many hidden talents.
Even the convenience store owner could make change for a billion-dollar bill.
The store’s chief clerk was equally baffled. He didn’t understand why his boss had assigned him such a bizarre task.
Hiss—
The cola bottles opened with a satisfying hiss as carbon dioxide and icy mist escaped.
Michael handed one bottle to James, and the two took a short break, relaxing for a moment.
Instructor Michael had gone a little crazy earlier, but he hadn’t completely lost it.
He quickly returned to normal, working even more efficiently than before.
As Michael put it:
“We can’t embarrass the Supreme Beings!”
James was still utterly confused.
Just as they finished their drinks, Michael’s shadow shifted slightly.
An old, hunched figure appeared across the street.
Michael immediately hurled his empty cola bottle at the figure.
The bottle seemed like it was about to hit the old man, but in the next instant, it rebounded and smacked Michael on the head instead.
Bang—
James blinked, and before he knew it, the hunched old man was standing right in front of them.
The old man, dressed in red, looked both eerie and oddly familiar.
The hunched figure glanced at Michael and sneered.
“Useless.”
Michael wasn’t one to back down.
“You old bastard, who are you calling useless?!”
The two glared at each other, clearly not getting along.
Michael, now a student of Apollo, felt emboldened. Insulting him was equivalent to insulting Apollo!
“Calling you useless, and you’re still not happy about it?”
The old man, Blood Ultimate, let out a raspy laugh.
“Get up and get to work.”
Michael, though reluctant, stood up, grabbed his flail, and prepared to continue smashing the store.
Blood Ultimate: …
“You idiot. Humanity’s fate is about to undergo a massive shift, and you’re still here smashing this dump?”
His tone was laced with mockery, each word cutting deep.
“Come with me to the First Abyss.”
Michael’s expression tightened. He knew this wasn’t a joke.
No matter how unwilling he was, he followed Blood Ultimate.
James, unsure of what to do, hesitated. Should he follow them?
Michael glanced at Terenas and said,
“This is my disciple. That makes him half your disciple too…”
“I don’t take disciples this weak,” Terenas sneered.
“If you don’t want him to die, let him stay here.”
Michael hesitated for a moment before turning to James and saying seriously,
“Honestly, dying doesn’t hurt that much. The Guardian Shadow benefits are pretty good too…”
In the end, he decided not to bring James along.
Terenas was right—this was no small matter, and bringing James would only complicate things.
“Wait.”
Terenas suddenly stopped and turned to Michael.
Michael frowned.
“What now, you old fossil?”
Terenas sniffed the air and said bluntly,
“Go change your pants first.”
—
The Eighth Abyss.
A visitor had arrived uninvited.
The previous Eighth Demon God, who had defected to the Supreme Demon God, was killed by Maxen after being struck down by the Chaotic Lightning Tribulation.
The last Eighth Demon God, Poseidon, had also defected to the Supreme Demon God and was killed by Thor.
Both of their deaths, directly or indirectly, were tied to Thor.
As the current Eighth Demon God, Chaos Prince naturally harbored no goodwill toward Thor.
But Mike wasn’t here for Chaos Prince.
“Where’s Ace?”
The last time they went to the Great Whirlpool, Ace and Chaos Prince had teamed up.
Mike guessed Ace was likely nearby.
Sure enough, he found Ace.
“What’s going on with you?”
It had been a while since they last met, and Ace had undergone rapid breakthroughs, now possessing the strength of a Nine-Star Lord.
Such rapid progress was definitely not a good thing.
His foundation was too weak. If he didn’t take time to stabilize and consolidate, his next attempt to break through would likely kill him.
Ace knew this as well as anyone.
Ace rolled his eyes and said bluntly,
“You’re asking me? Who should I ask?”
After some explanation, Mike finally understood what had happened.
Ace still had a faint connection to Calderon, one that Calderon could sever but hadn’t.
One night, taking advantage of the Supreme Abyssal’s excellent ‘Wi-Fi’, Calderon had sent Ace a message.
The message was simple:
Get stronger. Use any means necessary to grow stronger in the short term.
Otherwise… prepare to die.
“I don’t know what that old guy is planning,” Ace muttered.
He had a bad feeling Calderon was setting him up.
Before Mike could scold him, Ace suddenly vanished into thin air.
“Holy fuck!”
White Dog, witnessing the scene, widened its eyes in shock.
“I don’t get it!”
Mike patted the dog’s head and looked at the figure that had appeared before him.
Using a tone of utmost respect, he said,
“Hi, long time no see.”
—
Supreme Abyssal.
On the snowy mountain, Shadow Nine and Calderon were nearing the summit.
They weren’t far, but it would still take a few days to reach the top.
Because of Calderon’s poor health, Shadow Nine had to stop and wait for him.
“That bastard’s stirring up trouble again,” Shadow Nine muttered, glancing toward the depths of the Supreme Abyssal.
The unease on his face deepened.
The only thing that could provoke the Supreme Demon God was a human Supreme Being.
It wasn’t Apollo… it was Ares!
“Hey, idiot Nine, let me tell you something from the heart,” Calderon said, his tone as annoying as ever.
Shadow Nine didn’t indulge him.
“Kiss my ass.”
Calderon conjured an icicle, bit into it, and let the melting ice drip down his beard.
“Ace, that kid… sure, he’s weak and talks too much trash, but he’s not a bad person.”
Shadow Nine frowned. He didn’t get along with Calderon, but he didn’t have much of an issue with Ace.
“You’re wrong. Just because you’re a piece of trash doesn’t mean Ace is too.”
Shadow Nine’s words were sharp.
“In my opinion, Ace will surpass you one day.”
Calderon sneered, unconcerned.
Setting aside the human Supreme Beings and excluding Cedric and Maxen, Calderon was undoubtedly the strongest human.
Ace had a long way to go before he could surpass him.
Calderon continued,
“So, by your logic, Ace being alive is at least somewhat valuable to humanity.”
Shadow Nine’s unease grew. He had a feeling Calderon was hiding something.
“What are you getting at? Are you done resting yet?”
“Hold on, let me strike a pose first.”
Calderon adjusted his stance, his expression turning serious as he muttered,
“In my name, I purify… uh, what was the rest? Never mind.”
His literary skills weren’t good enough to remember the full incantation.
Calderon’s only talent with words was in insults.
He raised his right foot and stomped hard on the ground, shouting,
“Switch!”
Boom—
Shadow Nine felt the entire mountain tremble slightly.
There was no way Calderon could cause such a commotion on his own.
“What the hell are you doing?!” Shadow Nine demanded.
Calderon, blood dripping from the corner of his mouth, smirked mockingly.
“Idiot Nine, I made a deal with your disciple.”
Shadow Nine’s expression darkened.
“What are you planning?!”
“Compared to killing the Archdemon, your disciple’s proposal was much more tempting.”
Calderon’s lips curled into an excited grin.
“Your disciple wants to take down a Supreme Being. How could I pass up on something so fun? Suddenly, I don’t feel like dying anymore.”
Shadow Nine’s face fell further. He hadn’t expected Calderon to hide so much.
—
Back in the First Abyss, everyone thought Calderon had softened and given up on his punch.
But with Nathan’s grudge hanging over him, how could he let it go?
Calderon didn’t care about the bigger picture, the future, or even his own life.
He wanted the Archdemon dead.
Right now.
His obsession with killing the Archdemon was driving him insane.
The only thing that had changed his mind was someone else.
Even though Apollo couldn’t leave the Tower of Truth, he could still influence the First Abyss.
If he couldn’t even do that, what kind of Supreme Being would he be?
Above the snowy mountain, an Apollo phantom appeared.
Apollo didn’t look at the Supreme Demon God or Ares. Instead, his gaze was fixed on the mountain.
This mountain came from the Heavenly Realm, not the Supreme Abyssal.
In other words, here, Apollo’s authority outweighed the Supreme Demon God’s.
The moment Calderon activated the ritual, Apollo sensed it, and his earlier preparations took effect.
Apollo’s phantom nodded.
“Approved.”
In the next instant, Calderon vanished, and Ace suddenly appeared on the mountain!
Ace looked at Shadow Nine, then at the mountain, and finally at the distant figures of Ares and the Supreme Demon God.
He immediately understood what had happened.
Calderon had escaped!
He was off to do something big!
And Ace? He was left to rot in this prison!
Calderon’s insistence on Ace growing stronger wasn’t because he needed Ace to do anything.
It was simply so Ace wouldn’t die in the Supreme Abyssal.
And if Ace did die? What did that have to do with Calderon?
From the skies above the Supreme Abyssal, Ace’s curses echoed, growing fainter and fainter.
“Calderon, you son of a bitch, fuck…”
