Just call me Thor - Chapter 615
Chapter 615: Ten years later
Mike didn’t argue or hesitate. Instead, he focused on the task at hand.
The butterfly didn’t linger either. It left the Supreme Abyssal without a word.
Moments after the butterfly departed, a series of violent tremors erupted from the depths of the Abyss.
These tremors were a hundred times stronger than before.
Mike’s expression darkened as a possibility crossed his mind.
The earlier commotion had only been the butterfly fighting the Supreme Demon God—a mere appetizer.
Now, Apollo was truly making his move.
Mike couldn’t help but take a sharp breath.
But he didn’t have time to cheer Apollo on. He was still busy with his own task.
The ground around the throne had been mostly dug out.
Mike glanced at the man seated on the throne, whose face bore a striking resemblance to Maxen’s.
He needed to secure the man to the throne.
Mike removed Nightmare’s Breeze and used the cloak to wrap the man tightly.
But it wasn’t enough.
After nearly three centuries, the man had fused with the throne, making separation impossible.
Initially, Mike’s plan had been to take the man with him.
When that failed, he changed his approach.
He tried to pry the entire throne loose but quickly realized it was futile.
This mountain, after all, had been brought back from the Heavenly Realm.
With Mike’s current strength, separating the throne from the mountain was simply beyond him.
Meanwhile, Mike’s situation was growing increasingly dangerous.
Even as Apollo battled the Supreme Demon God, the latter still had the capacity to launch sneak attacks on Mike.
A black beam of energy pierced Mike’s shoulder, severely injuring him and shattering one of the throne’s armrests.
Mike continued his attempts to separate the throne, but all his efforts ended in failure.
So, the bug-abusing expert Mike made a bold decision.
He lay down beneath the throne and waited for the Supreme Demon God’s attacks.
When an attack came, Mike dodged if he could. If he couldn’t, he shifted his body to avoid taking a direct hit.
This way, the Supreme Demon God’s attacks would help him break the throne free.
Thanks to the Supreme Demon God’s relentless assaults, the throne was finally separated from the mountain!
Mike hoisted the entire throne onto his back, his body sinking under its weight.

But it wasn’t the throne’s weight that pressed down on him—it was the presence of Apollo, who had suddenly appeared beside him.
Apollo, freshly fallen from his peak, exuded an oppressive aura that was beyond anything Mike had ever imagined.
It was only in moments like this that one could truly grasp the terrifying power of humanity’s Supreme Beings.
Seeing Apollo alive, Mike’s heart lifted.
As long as he wasn’t dead, that was enough!
Apollo looked the same as before, but his entire body was covered in cracks, like shattered porcelain.
Carrying the throne, Mike began running toward the exit.
As he ran, he glanced back at Apollo and shouted,
“You’re not coming?”
Apollo shook his head and replied calmly,
“No.”
The enemy they faced was unprecedentedly powerful, standing at the pinnacle of the world and looking down on all living beings.
To win this battle, there could be no hesitation, no fear—only a fight to the death.
Everyone had to make the wisest choice for their position, the choice that would benefit the greater good the most.
Only then would humanity have a chance at victory.
Only then could the shadow cast by the Supreme Demon God be dispelled.
If Mike insisted on staying, three centuries of humanity’s efforts would be wasted.
He had no choice.
With the throne on his back, Mike gritted his teeth and forced himself not to look back.
He kept running.
Run to safety.
Bring Nathan back.
Bring him home to Earth.
No matter how they planned to resurrect Nathan, Mike knew one thing:
Without Nathan’s body, it would be nearly impossible.
Even if it wasn’t strictly necessary, returning Nathan’s remains to his homeland held immense symbolic significance.
Three hundred years.
It was time to go home.
This was Mike’s task.
It was what he had to do.
The Supreme Mark hadn’t yet passed into Mike’s hands, which meant the battle between Apollo and the Supreme Demon God hadn’t reached its final moment.
There had to be an ending.
The cracks on Apollo’s skin flashed briefly before disappearing, leaving him looking as normal as ever.
He turned to face the pursuing Supreme Demon God.
Apollo was gravely injured, and so was the Supreme Demon God.
What Apollo could calculate, the Supreme Demon God could calculate as well.
If the situation continued to develop, the Supreme Demon God truly risked falling.
Even if he couldn’t kill Mike or Apollo, he could still destroy something—he could wreak havoc on the mortal realm that humanity’s Supreme Beings had protected for three centuries.
The wrath of the defeated could still burn everything in its path.
Especially when the defeated party was the Supreme Demon God.
If the Supreme Demon God were allowed to pursue Mike, Earth would face a catastrophic disaster.
So, Apollo decided not to leave.
This mortal realm was indeed interesting.
Apollo couldn’t kill the Supreme Demon God, and the Supreme Demon God couldn’t kill Apollo.
But Apollo could do more—he could do what he was best at.
Apollo spoke softly,
“As long as I’m here, I will never allow you to set foot on Earth.”
Boom—
It was as if the Supreme Demon God had slammed into an invisible wall.
He was sent flying backward!
The Supreme Demon God was trapped in the Supreme Abyssal, unable to leave this prison.
As a price, a crack appeared on Apollo’s left hand.
Boom, boom, boom—
The Supreme Demon God repeatedly tried to break through the barrier but failed each time.
When the cracks became too numerous, Apollo simply petrified the skin on his hand to save himself the trouble.
Above the Supreme Abyssal, the Supreme Demon God continued to assault the barrier, while Apollo’s body gradually turned to stone.
From this day forward, as long as Apollo drew breath, the Supreme Demon God would never set foot on Earth.
Humanity would never know what truly happened in the Supreme Abyssal that day.
From that day on, the Supreme Abyssal seemed to vanish entirely, with no further activity.
Along with the Supreme Abyssal, humanity’s Supreme Being Apollo disappeared as well.
And so did humanity’s fourth-generation potential Supreme Being, Thor.
As the witness to the final battle between Apollo and the Supreme Demon God, Thor vanished along with the Supreme Abyssal.
Three days after the Supreme battle ended, humanity retrieved all their corpses from the Abyss.
While fortifying Earth’s defenses, they also sent their most powerful Lords and above into the void to search for Thor.
For thirty days, they found nothing.
Eventually, even the demon gods joined the search.
The performances of humanity’s first three Supreme Beings had completely subdued the Abyss.
The demon gods had no thoughts of rebellion.
Nathan was dead.
Apollo was missing.
Thor’s fate was unknown.
But Ares was still in the Heavenly Realm.
That sword would one day pierce through the Heavenly Realm and return to this world.
It was only a matter of time.
No demon god dared to stir up trouble now.
Who would risk their life at a time like this?
Even with humanity and the demon race pooling their top combatants to search the void, Thor remained unfound.
Within humanity, it was officially declared that Thor had followed Apollo into seclusion for training.
Time passed.
Ten years later.
In the void, a burly man flew at high speed, carrying a White Dog.
“Are you sure it’s this way?”
White Dog patted its chest confidently.
“Absolutely, positively, 100% sure!”
Thor had disappeared, but White Dog had been left with Shadow Nine.
At the time, White Dog had been instrumental in helping Shadow Nine escape the Supreme Abyssal.
The problem was that after the Supreme Abyssal closed, White Dog could no longer connect to Thor.
In White Dog’s words, the Wi-Fi signal was bad.
The only thing it was certain of was that Thor was still alive.
“Up ahead, just three thousand miles!”
White Dog suddenly grew excited and pointed Maxen in a direction.
Even at Maxen’s top speed, it took some time to cover three thousand miles.
When he arrived at the location White Dog had indicated, he found… nothing.
White Dog was baffled.
“That’s strange. I felt it was right here. Where is he?”
Just as they were puzzling over it, a figure emerged from the void and exclaimed,
“Stone? What are you doing here?”
It was Thor!
White Dog was stunned.
How had Mike managed to evade the Eye of Truth’s detection?
“Wait a second!”
Maxen eyed Thor warily and said seriously,
“Let’s confirm your identity.”
Thor rolled his eyes.
“Confirm my ass.”
He reached into his inventory and pulled out a stone coffin, placing it in front of Maxen.
The coffin was made of stone from the Heavenly Realm.
As for who lay inside, there was no need to ask.
Thor didn’t need to prove who he was.
Maxen glanced at the man inside the coffin, his eyes filled with gratitude.
Carefully storing the coffin, Maxen couldn’t help but ask,
“Aren’t you worried I might be an imposter?”
In his mind, Thor should have been more cautious.
Thor smiled but didn’t answer.
What was there to worry about?
If Maxen were an imposter, Thor would just kill him.
How hard could that be?
With Thor’s current strength, killing Maxen would be child’s play.
As they spoke, Thor’s figure began to flicker and fade!
“Thor, what’s going on?”
Seeing Thor’s dimming form, Maxen’s expression darkened, a sense of foreboding rising within him.
This guy… could he already be dead?!
“Get lost.”
Thor rolled his eyes again and said disdainfully,
“If the Supreme Demon God couldn’t kill me, nothing can.”
When it came to survival, Thor was a professional.
Maxen scrutinized Thor and muttered,
“If you’re not dead… then why don’t you feel as strong as Apollo?”
To him, Thor’s current strength seemed about equal to his own, with no significant improvement.
“I don’t know either. Apollo didn’t give me the complete Supreme Mark.”
Thor scratched his head and explained helplessly,
“I already had Supreme Mark: Sigil, and I gave Supreme Mark: Crest back to Apollo.
After Apollo’s battle with the Supreme Demon God, he gave me Supreme Mark: Heart, but not Crest.”
Without the complete Supreme Mark, Thor couldn’t cross that final threshold.
Moreover, to break through level 899, he needed to be within the range of the Tower of Truth.
Having spent the past decade wandering the void, Thor hadn’t been able to enter the Tower of Truth to level up.
While his strength hadn’t advanced, his foundation had become more solid.
Ten years ago, Thor had already been capable of defeating Maxen.
Ten years later, if Maxen felt Thor wasn’t as strong as Apollo, there was only one explanation:
It was an illusion.
Regardless, Thor had accomplished something nearly impossible—he had survived and returned.
Thor had created his own miracle.
Bringing back Nathan’s body was significant both symbolically and practically.
As humanity’s first-generation Supreme Being, Nathan had died in the Supreme Abyssal nearly three centuries ago, unable to return home.
This wound had festered in humanity’s heart, filling every powerful individual with endless anger and humiliation.
Moreover, Nathan’s body was crucial to his resurrection.
According to Apollo’s plan, the idea had been to wait for Shadow Nine to successfully resurrect and live a new life.
Then, Thor would take Shadow Nine to retrieve Nathan’s body.
At that point, Nathan’s soul and body would be reunited.
With the help of Dream Come True, The Heart of Omnipotence, and White Horse,
Three SSS-level talents working together, combined with Morpheus’s prior preparations,
Nathan’s resurrection would finally become possible.
Even so, the resurrected Nathan would still face significant risks.
With Nathan’s personality, he would undoubtedly force his way back to the Supreme realm and fight the Supreme Demon God to the death once more.
He would die a glorious death for the honor of humanity.
Now, with Mike bringing Nathan’s body back early, the timeline had been greatly accelerated.
In other words, Nathan’s chances of resurrection had significantly increased, and the associated risks could be mitigated.
“Hold on a second. It’s time. I need to create a move.”
Thor closed his eyes, his brow furrowed in thought.
Time?
What time?
Create a move?
For what?
Maxen’s mind filled with questions.
After ten years apart, Thor hadn’t changed much outwardly, but his demeanor had undergone a transformation.
Gone was the youthful recklessness and frivolity.
In its place was a calm maturity.
Maxen thought of a possibility.
To escape the Supreme Demon God, Thor must have endured unimaginable damage.
And this skill… only two people had ever used it.
The name of the skill surfaced in Maxen’s mind:
Fate’s Reversal.
