Chapter 807: Chapter 807 – The Hidden City
Just as Broken had suspected, the dragonkin had built their structures clinging to the cliffside. Parts of the rock had clearly been carved out, creating solid foundations for wooden dwellings nestled against the mountains. A hidden city, suspended in the air.
The structures, though appearing simple, were masterfully arranged—firmly secured, their wooden beams blending seamlessly with the natural rock formations. And as he watched, figures moved between them.
Dragonkin.
They flew gracefully between the cliffs, carrying food, bundles of fruit, and supplies, moving as if this was nothing more than another peaceful day.
Broken urged Polly closer, wanting a better look. If he could get close enough, he might be able to analyze their levels. But from what he saw…
These weren’t warriors preparing for battle. They were simply people, living their lives in peace.
Broken exhaled slowly. So far, so good. They were still invisible, and this was the perfect scenario to truly appreciate just how valuable Pawpaw’s stealth ability was. Without it, he would’ve never been able to get this close.
Polly continued to glide silently, drawing nearer to the dragonkin settlement. Now, from this distance, Broken could see them clearly.
Their appearances were striking—beastkin-like features mixed with human traits. Though most of them had humanoid faces, parts of their bodies were covered in shimmering scales, and of course, each one bore a pair of powerful wings.
Unlike the battle-ready dragonkin he had encountered before, these ones wore normal clothing. No heavy armor, no visible weapons. It seemed not all dragonkin were focused on warfare—many of them were just living their daily lives.
When he analyzed their stats, the pattern became clear. The average level of the civilians here was around 150. Not weak, but not particularly powerful either.
Suddenly, his attention was drawn to four young dragonkin zipping through the air, chasing one another in a playful game.
And then—they flew straight toward Polly. But at the last second, Polly gave a strong flap of its wings, shifting just before the kids could collide.
The powerful gust from Polly’s wings brushed against the smallest dragonkin at the back, making the child waver mid-air.
The kid stopped, hovering in place, looking confused.
“Hey, what’s wrong?” one of the other children asked, pausing as well.
The little dragonkin blinked a few times, then shook his head before breaking into a laugh and resuming the chase.
Broken let out a silent breath of relief.
Broken observed everything carefully, taking in the structure of this hidden settlement. The kids were strong—level 50 to 80 already—but that made sense. Growing up in a place like this, they were probably used to hunting monsters from an early age.
But again, he wasn’t here just to admire their way of life. He needed answers.
Anything that could lead him closer to understanding what the dragonkin were doing here. And to find the trace of Ivana.
Polly glided forward, heading toward the central area of the settlement. Massive chains stretched between the peaks, acting as bridges between different sections. The closer he got, the clearer he could see another group—a formation of dragonkin warriors mid-training.
They clashed in the air, moving at high speed, wielding swords and spears with precision. There were about a dozen of them, their levels hovering around 200.
Definitely fighters in training. Future warriors of their people.
Still… something about this place felt oddly peaceful.
Despite their hidden nature, despite their isolation, the dragonkin here didn’t seem like they were living in fear. If anything, they had built a home—a real one.
For a second, Broken wondered. Wouldn’t it be nice to live in a place like this? A secluded sanctuary where strong individuals could gather, train, and exist away from outside threats?
Then again, he already had a secret haven of his own—the Moonlight Dimension.
A floating island entirely to himself. A space where, in theory, he could welcome others… if only he had more keys to grant them entry.
Maybe one day, that would change.

Broken kept scanning the area, slowing Polly’s flight as much as possible, taking in every single detail.
He was searching.
For her.
Ivana.
Down below, a group of dragonkin sat outside a house, drinking and laughing loudly.
“Hey! Get off your asses and train!” Another dragonkin flew over, shouting at them.
“For what? Hah! We live in peace!” one of them called back, laughing even harder.
The others joined in, raising their drinks, completely carefree.
Polly floated silently through the air, gliding past one house after another. Some had open balconies where dragonkin lounged with ease, speaking in quiet murmurs. Others kept their doors tightly shut, concealing whatever lay inside.
Should he start searching each house?
No. Not yet.
First, he needed to map everything out.
If simply observing wasn’t enough to find any trace of Ivana, then he would take the next step—eavesdropping, listening for even the slightest mention of the Dragon Princess.
And if that still led nowhere?
Then he would remain here for as long as it took.
After some time spent quickly scanning the lower and middle areas of the Peaks, curiosity gnawed at him. What lay at the very top, right in the center?
From a glance, the houses in that area appeared more polished, their structures refined and well-maintained. The residents, too, seemed of a higher status—more powerful, more distinguished.
Polly soared upward, cutting through the sky as if reaching for the clouds. And the moment he broke through them, there it was… at the peak.
A vast open space stretched before him, its ground neatly paved with stone. At the center stood a massive structure—something akin to a castle’s main grounds.
And in the courtyard below, around forty dragonkin stood in formation, clad in battle armor, their stances rigid and disciplined.
At the front of the ranks, a handful of dragonkin stood apart, and Broken immediately recognized one of them—one of the five warriors responsible for the brutal slaughter of forty players the day before.
They were here. The dragonkin warriors.
But why were they all assembled like this, fully armored and standing in perfect formation?
Were they preparing for war?
Or was this nothing more than a routine training exercise?
Broken paused, weighing his options. Was it really a good idea to fly in closer and eavesdrop on their conversation? The dragonkin below were already high-level, and those stationed here at the peak were undoubtedly even stronger.
If a battle broke out, his chances of survival were slim. Sure, he could wipe out a large portion of them with his massive area attacks, but the high-level dragonkin would never let him escape unscathed.
After considering his options once more, he made his decision. He instructed Polly to glide in slowly, hoping to catch snippets of their conversation without drawing attention.
Polly drifted toward the edge of the peak, moving with careful precision. As she neared, she landed almost soundlessly at the left side of the formation, keeping a fair distance from the group gathered at the center.
Broken held his breath, waiting to see if any of the dragonkin would react.
And then—
One of the dragonkin at the very front of the formation suddenly turned his head toward him.
Without hesitation, he spread his wings and shot into the air, flying straight for Broken!
